Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Professor Thaum replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Alright children, it's recess ! Everybody go play on the highway ! For the others, please keep cool, this is only a date of release for a set not the election of a new Pope/president/Lego CEO... -
The filthy streets of Port royal are not for you ? You hate the confined atmosphere, suffocating and putrid of the steerage of the ships of the line ? Well, you still may like the pirates when the party is full swing and while they strictly dance under the baton of our member Captain Braunsfeld Let's take a look to the show on the Pirate MOCs forum. And don't hesitate to jojn the party on the Brethren of the Brick Seas forum !

Eslandola Mini-Challenge: The Return of the King
Professor Thaum replied to Garmadon's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Here comes a new challenger : -
As all the people of high birth from Eslandola seek to position themselves on the winning side, we see a lot of beggar on horseback coming from nowhere, claiming some resounding titles or arguing some legitimacy over Eslandola future. Among them, a new merchant prince having made his fortune from tulips of Pontelli ( particularly with the famous "Molokei Red" ) nicknamed "El Magnifico" : Don Jesus Cristobal Callaghañes de la Gwuinee Trumpetas y Fnarthingon It seems he will host a reception for his supporters at the famous "Satiated Prince Inn" of Pontelli. Don JCCdlGTyF : Mister Johnson for the pity sake, it makes no sense ! T.J. Johnson : Order from the doctor, Callaghan. Monkey : Heeeee Keeeee Teeee ! T.J. Johnson : Take this wand of power, it doesn't suck ! Don JCCdlGTyF : What shall I do of all this stuff, the doctor is mad, Mr Johnson, you indeed have to realize ! T.J. Johnson : He has the dough ! Monkey : Teeeeheeee Teeeheee !!! T.J. Johnson : Take the Gwuinee, my Lord, your guests are coming, put up a good show ! We are onto you my Lord ! Monkey : Keeeee ! Don JCCdlGTyF : This is insanity ! What am I supposed to tell them ? T.J. Johnson : Smile, Don Cristobal ! C&C welcome, this is a support for the Pnence side.

[OFFICIAL] "How to Be a Pirate" LEGO Little Golden Book
Professor Thaum replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I saw this book " how to be a pirate" in french version in the Bordeaux Lego store today. I had a look (for curiosity sake). This the story of a young girl called Cecillia and the adventure is described with pictures out of offical lego sets (for example the squid of set 3 in 1 - 31088 shark, fish or squid) The story is very very childish as far as I can remember. That's all I can say as I was not really interested in (my 13 years old son wasn't too). I was rather looking at a book like "awesome ideas" but pirate attuned. Right for this one too. My 2 cents. -

Professor Thaum replied to boeing_787_8_dreamliner's topic in Pirate MOCs
@boeing_787_8_dreamliner : I merged the 3 topics, to avoid multi thread for an only ship. You may edit the title each steps of the progression. -
Very nice shaping with a technic hard to apply to such a small ship
-
That's a nice Great Hall. The skirts are well thought and I love this floor.
