Professor Thaum replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Sure, LDD allows some infingement -
As the small island just below the Sea turtle island is the hatching site for innumeral sea turtles, multiple times per year, the Brethren of the coast saw an opportunity : They will harvest some eggs !!! Because after Rum, the Tortuga speciality is the runny turtle egg omelette Another medium "plantation" for Tortuga

The Evacuation of Malto has begun...
Professor Thaum replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The brickbuilt rowing boat is very nicely designed. This must be a funny trip to evacuate with a drakkar However, the mast and the rigging are well thought !- 7 replies

[OL - FB] Ship of the line l'Ardent
Professor Thaum replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A good full rigged ship ! Made for war as it seems... the stairs to the rear castle seems a little bit weird, but the shot was probably taken during rough sea Great shaping work for the whole ship, feels like a real one ! NB : I will probably copy some of your rigging- 11 replies

Professor Thaum replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a weel executed ancient style tower ! The remains of the wall are a good idea, but what emphasize the built is the black background, giving the whole scene a stifling light typical of the thick jungle... a brilliant shot. Are other pics available ?- 17 replies

[SR - FB 1 July 17] On a patch of land
Professor Thaum replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks Nice to have succeed in a good tree rendering Coming from certain builders... I'm humbled. Really. Thanks, in all plantation there are some dead branch to be removed. You can tell the good workman by his tools. Thanks. Even if I create same trees (copy paste with LDD) I will always modify the parts adjutement by rotating some of them one tree by one tree to have as many different plant as possible (I do the same for all plantation as symetrical vegetables will be quite disturbing for the onlooker... However, this horse is the horse with printed face and bridle but it seems not looking great with LDD render... or is it the camera angle that does not justice to the poor horse. The orchard was pretty hard to find... you have a keen eye.- 15 replies

The Turtle Island is a rough ecosystem, but the breadfruit adapt pretty well to the demanding island. So, thanks to its numerous fields of use (eating, medical...) the Sea Rats decided to take care of some breadfruit trees right nearby Tortuga. this is a medium 32 x 32 plantation

[SR - FB 4 June 17] The Rogers Inn
Professor Thaum replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
You're asked to check all your nautical and geographical charts. Neither the Turtle Island nor Tortuga are within the reach of your royal fort (I checked it twice on 2 different charts to be totally sure). The Sea Rats could provide Eslandola with talented cartographers if you're in trouble to figure your strategical settlements However... ships reaching Puerto Desafio from west will certainly travel within Tortuga's ships reach
