Well, I think Mindy's theory is a bit too far-fetched to be true. After all, the simplest explanation is often found to be true, and I don't see anything simple about that theory.
-
What Mr. Fox says is of course entirely true, but there's also one more thing to remember: if you're an Investigator your findings should be tested before you trust them, Investigators come in all sorts of flavours after all, and it's entirely possible that you get opposite results, or results that are completely wrong. Of course, if someone you've investigated has since been revealed to us as what your investigation found them to be you can most likely trust your results. (and yes, this might be obvious information to many here, but I felt it should be repeated just to make sure no one forgets ).

The Forest Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
Quarryman replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The amount of effort you're putting into this is amazing, crazy bastard -
Well, we need a conviction for the reasons you all know as well as me, so I'll follow the rest of you in this; vote: Bristol Bunny/Bob the Construction Man. And I for one won't hold anyone responsible if we're wrong about this, we need a conviction more than we need to be right, an unfortunate situation to be in

Well, I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't say I unvoted once it was clear a conviction wouldn't be reached, if you go back and check you'll see I was the third person unvoting Edgar, which I did that after talking to him in private, Edgar can confirm this. So if anything I'd say I was a clear contributor to the fact that he wasn't convicted. At the time I unvoted there were 10 votes against him, 13 would have had him convicted so at that time it could easily have gone either way.

Lovely non-committing answer there.. But sure, if you're telling the truth you'd have to protect your sources, I have no problem understanding that.
-
Hmm, that's an interesting tale, wonder what Edgar will have to say about it once he wakes from his slumber. Also, it's very good that Brigit spoke up, inactivity is our worst enemy, and I'm as guilty of this as anyone else in the village, but Benji, I'll try my best to help out more.

And now you know where he got his earlier "overly verbose" title from -
It does make some sense, yes. If he is, as he claims, someone who can protect against the Arsonist he would know about the existence of an Arsonist. Unfortunately to protect he needs quite a bit of luck in protecting the right person, but still, if we believe this he's definitely an asset for the Village. As for who visited him it would make sense that one of them was an Investigator seeing as many thought he was suspicious yesterday, so he would be a likely target for an Investigator. Though this might not match with him also being targeted for a kill, unless he had some protection on his own not depending on someone else actively protecting him. (like the orb Booker had, I think it's quite likely that it would have protected him against conventional harm, but just didn't work against fire). So, I hope one of his visitors was an Investigator, even if that Investigator can't come forward openly (that would be very stupid, they would become a huge target) it does at least mean someone out there knows something more about him.

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Quarryman replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Also, since you're not a player you shouldn't make comments like that at all. Not that a comment like that would be okay coming from a player, but from a non-player it's even worse. -
Well, after talking to Edgar in private I'm inclined to believe him for now. Unvote: Edgar Elephant / WhiteFang.

One small word of advice on that, take your time to read through your post before posting it, that way you won't have to edit it afterwards. (you're not going to get killed for spending one extra minute writing your post). And if you do end up posting something wrong just stay calm, and post a second post clarifying what you did wrong. -
This is just too confusing for a simple toymaker like me. Vote: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang).

Yes, once we can assume everyone has gotten past the initial shock of this horrible morning and had a chance to speak up it's time to look for those who don't speak up. For the time being at least it's the most we can do. Hmm, a carrot.. sure, why not. Though a proper sausage would be better.

An apple would be splendid Marcus, thank you. I believe the best we can hope for today would be that someone slips up and makes a grave mistake, how ever unlikely that might be

The Forest Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
Quarryman replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I wanted to see if the EB forum software was easily fooled, which it turned out it was. Besides, with the right browser plugins editing the HTML actually is quicker than saving and uploading. As for the interlocking wooden pieces they're coming along quite nicely, I think I'm pretty much ready to file a patent for all possible ways of making them interlock. So remember people, my new PlayWell line of toys is the perfect gift for birthdays or Christmas, we just have to get rid of this Demon Legion so we have reason to celebrate first, I'll be damned if I let some stupid gang of demon worshippers ruin my brilliant business plan. -

Quarryman replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, obviously I can't join, but I'd just like to say that your presentation looks really lovely Sandy, very much "Paradisa feel" to it -
I know! (but I'm not saying anything )

That would have to be 8485 Control Center II, awesome set I think I bought it in 1995, as my Dark Ages started in 1996, and I spent quite a lot of time on that set before the computer-driven Dark Ages took over.
