Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day Four
Quarryman replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm, what have I done to make you not trust me? Not sure what I could have done to make you trust me either, so please tell me what I should have done. However, your proxy plan sounds good, so here goes: Proxy: Salvatore / Dragonator. -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day Three

Any particular reasons why you don't trust him? (not saying he can be trusted, just interested in hearing what you have to say about it) -

This is all very interesting, (quite a bit of it tiresome too, but that's the trouble with so many people having so much to say, a lot of noise will always be generated). So, before I forget: vote: King of Delaware/KingoftheZempk (it does seem like the best decision for today, and I think it will give us something to work on tomorrow). -

Doh, of course, you're right, your ability would take precedence over a kill (or should at least, if I've understood you right). So it's possible you were blocked I guess. -

Probably because Martin was already dead? Makes sense to me at least, your target got killed before you got to do anything, so nothing happened. -
VOTING THREAD: The best LEGO sailing ships (minifig illusion scale)
Quarryman replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
This took quite a while, but finally I managed to decide: 1 point to: 2. RTS Zavala 1 point to: 8. HMS Prince of Wales 2 points to: 9. Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion (easily my favourite "minifig illusion scale" ship) 1 point to: 15. Vesta 1 point to: 20. Soleil Royal 1 point to: 28. Hansa Trade Cog (brilliant hull technique) -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day Two

*sigh* you pathetic creatures and your endless "discussions" that lead nowhere. Can't say any of you have really managed to convince me yet, but for now: vote: shadows. I certainly don't trust someone who's in here without actually needing to be. -
Registered and paid (last night actually ), now there's just those plane tickets to get and MOCs to build and such. Looking very much forward to my second Brickworld

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Quarryman replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So, earlier I said that if nothing presented itself I'd throw in a random vote. Something has however presented itself, and I can in no way influence it, so I'll abstain from voting today. Though I surely see the need for voting, and I applaud those of you who have made a stand even without anything to go on, it's that kind of spirit we need to get rid of these stupid sinister sickos and get through this alive. -
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Quarryman replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You puny humans with your endless bickering is quite entertaining to watch. But even though you can never achieve the greatness of me and my brother I'll admit those of you who argue that we need to make a conviction today has a point, if we don't convict someone that pathetic worm Dr. Bloodbrick will surely hatch a nasty plan that might even harm me and my brother, inconceivable as this may seeem. So if nothing else presents itself I will throw in a random vote, it's better than sitting around doing nothing. But for now I'll wait a bit, there might be more bickering among you that's worth watching, if only for amusement. -

I think I had a lot more luck than any one player should have in a mafia game And yes, the hairs and dust in many pictures was annoying, surely it wouldn't have taken that long to blow off the dust?

Here brother, I'm here. Greetings earthlings (who we need to conquer, but that will have to wait), Tamtam Timmers is here. -
Yay! And congratulations to my fellow winner ADHO15 Thanks to Zepher for hosting, I have a few somewhat harsh things to say, but more about those later in the post. Don't think I'll bother posting my role PM, as everyone should know by now that I was neutral. However, I'd like to point out that my ability to night-kill was limited to three kills, due to needing to kill WhiteFang, iamded and Eskallon. Luckily WhiteFang was convicted instead, so I didn't end up with a more difficult situation when one of my kills was wasted on JimButcher. Being neutral was a completely new experience to me, and I loved it, was prepared to backstab anyone on a moment's notice... What I didn't like about it though, was that I had no incentive to participate, my primary objective being survival until I knew who to kill. So I tried to fly below the radar as much as I could, not sure how well I succeeded though Which I only knew because iamded simply told me that he and Eskallon were the ones I needed to kill, more luck than I deserved I think Now, the harsh bit. First of all I'd like to say that this game proves beyond a doubt that a behemoth sized game (40+ players) can't be run with standard mechanics, it just doesn't work. Secondly, I found it ridiculous that I was removed from the game after I completed my objective, sure it's fine to get a cheap win for once, but it's an unfair advantage over all the other players, so other hosts should take notes. Third, there were way too many neutrals, and too few scum at the start, starting out with just the Godfather is too harsh and makes the scum's job close to impossible, as we saw with WhiteFang who never managed to convict anyone. And, the primary thing that bothered me, way too few deaths, there should have been something like four deaths every night, weren't there any regular vigilantes?

I hereby submit to the necessary treatment for my mental illness, because clearly I'm insane. As for previous experience, I'm confident you have enough information about that to make a decision. Rorschach test: 1) evil spaceship wanting to kill me 2) evil spaceship wanting to kill me 3) evil spaceship wanting to kill me 4) evil spaceship wanting to kill me 5) the gate to Hell where I arrived after the fourth evil spaceship finally succeeded. Though I seem not to be dead, so I suppose I came back. Most peculiar. Oooh, pretty butterflies! -
General Discussion and Announcements
Quarryman replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, at the moment I'm way too busy with real-life-crap (tons of things to do at work and it looks like I'll have to move to another apartment soon too) to host a game properly (which sucks, seeing as I've collected a lot of stuff for this) so I'd say you're next in line to host. My game will run at some time in the future instead. -
Yeah, arriving a few days early to get adjusted to the 7 hour time difference is a good idea. This year I arrived the Saturday before BW, and that worked out nicely, so I'm planning on doing something similar next year. This also leaves time for playing tourist in Chicago a bit before BW, something I didn't get to do this year as me, I Scream Clone and Copmike were spending all the days before BW franticly building in Stash2sixx' basement to get our layout finished.

Oh yes indeed it is ..and this time I'm not going to mess up by booking my return flight on Sunday.. stupid stupid me.

Looking for a couple of Belville figs
Quarryman replied to Quarryman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thanks, but I already knew that, buying a whole set for only one fig is out of the question. -
Quite like your commandos, very easy to recognize from the game (which indeed is great), but it seems you forgot the spy?
