The Forest Mafia Sign-ups-CLOSED
Quarryman replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm, wouldn't that depend on how you pronounce "MOC"? If you say it like "mock" it would be "a MOC", but if you're doing it wrong and saying "ehm-oh-see" it would be "an MOC". Definitely possible that I'm wrong due to being a foreigner though. -
The Forest Mafia Sign-ups-CLOSED

Deciding on which Fabuland set is my favourite was definitely not easy, but I've come to the conclusion that the 3673 Steamboat has to win, if only due to its massive nostalgia bonus points from being one of the sets I got when going to Legoland in 1988. As for the grammar exercise I'd like to point out that Hinckley, you're a dick, and your dick is small too. I know that to lose two games in a row due to not exactly stellar performance doesn't improve my chances of being picked, but I hope my earlier achievements might matter a bit too. Hopefully there won't be too many other players who due to their stellar performances takes all the slots, even though they're a fine bunch all of them with fine tags. And I've checked my work calendar, and with the exception of a client meeting the 17th of March that will make the 15th and 16th quite busy days I'm good to go. I'll be available the whole time though, but won't have time to spend 7-8 hours a day analysing voting patterns -
I think the fact that catching Zepher on Day 1 had such a huge impact is what bothers me the most about the balance of the game, seems the Werewolves were pretty much screwed by that, and that is very bad, getting lucky on Day 1 shouldn't turn the game upside-down. Oh well, I'll shut up about balance, since apart from that Jimbee did an excellent job.

So you see guys, I was originally an innocent Villager with no night action, just like I said. Also, I got killed for inactivity (which is fair enough, I have no problem with that), but I was actually more active after I was converted. Oh well, congratulations to the Village, well played indeed, that was quite a steamroller. That's going to be interesting to hear, because my impression right now is that the game was badly unbalanced and heavily favoured the Village. For one thing, we supposedly couldn't night kill after we lost def, but had to ask to have that night action restored to us. So how many conversions could the Werewolves do? You should have given the Rogues at least two conversions, yes. Or had them starting out with 4 and then 1 conversion, remember that having multiple scum factions in general favours the town, so you can't just add the number of scum together and balance that against the number of townies, because the scum will also work against each other.

Of course I'm coming, just saying that there are things happening in Sweden and The Netherlands the same weekend that I'd like to participate in as well, but due to going to Windsor I can't. Oh well, can't do everything.
-
Yeah, a typical problem, I'd like to have been in Sweden and The Netherlands that weekend too, but unfortunately our crappy level of technology makes that impossible.

4 x 4 Ninjas:

And repeating what I already wrote elsewhere, Happy Birthday man!

Zine duck ninja: for grabbing a bunch of Ninjago promo sets via the Norwegian Donald Duck magazine. (probably I Scream Clone again)

Thanks. Don't think my life is possible to save at the moment, but thanks anyway.

Okay, good people of Blackwood, before you kill me please answer one simple question: Why me? And that's not "why are you killing me", but why is it that I'm the one being attacked for being quiet? I'm hardly the only one not contributing as much, though I have no problems admitting that due to being too busy with workmy studies I've not been able to contribute to the best of my abilities. But still, I'm not the only one. Others are equally inactive, but you let them get away with it? Why? Now, I'm not going to lie to you about me being a valuable asset that can do fancy things at Night, because I can't. I'm an innocent villager and that's it. So no, you won't lose a great deal when you're lynching me today.
-
Yeah, I'm sorry about not being able to contribute as much as I'd prefer, I've been really busy with workmy studies lately, so keeping track of all the discussions here has proved difficult and I've ended up with not having anything worthwhile to add to them.
-
And if we don't vote off someone we learn nothing, that's an unfortunate truth. So a lynch there must be.
-
No, we don't. But I at least think he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now, Harriet seems to trust him, and with him being an investigator I think he'll be more useful alive. (besides, voting off the same person two days in a row just seems wrong )
-
Thanks.. and I know one thing for sure, my mother wouldn't have wanted her death to be in vain, we have to keep going to find those who wish to kill us all and bring them to justice.
-
Wow.. that's a weird turn of events. Massive kudos to the musket killer for taking out another Rogue, though I'm worried about what this means, surely that must mean the Rogues are a faction of their own? And now to read Harriet's latest masterpiece of a play, it does look interesting.

Werewolf Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread

Because he likes to see us suffer I think. The pain, it's almost unbearable -
Thanks everyone! As for LEGO I got this : And regarding all the "get better" wishes, yes, I was feeling a lot better, whisky tasted something again, and I was fit enough to go out drinking. So now I haven't slept very much and I'm pretty tired. But it was quite an okay evening, so I'm not complaining. Yeah, that's more like it Wow, bonus points to miss Swedish-wannabe for writing in the correct language! Nah, I think I'll pass Yay, King Goblin And yes, those furries are very much more like it, too bad they cost a bit too much the very short while when they were available. (for those who don't recognize the furries those are the special bottles of The End of History from Brewdog, the strongest beer ever made at 55% ABV. Cost 500 GBP for the cheap bottle ) Yeah, turns out it was at the post office, they'd just messed up and not notified me. Oh well, I have it now.

Werewolf Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread

I'd expect the Games Moderator to know his history a bit better, 96 hour Days was for a long while the standard. In fact, I think the first game that tried using 72 hours was Eurodina (but that was changed to 96 due to the size of the game), while the first game that actually used shorter days was Asylum. Some examples: - Eurodina(haven't been able to find the Day length in Hogwarts Mafia, so Sandy, feel free to enlighten me) - !Dystopia - Mystical Castle - InfectionOh, and here's some juicy old stuff: - Mystery Castle (5 days!? Excuse me mister Games Moderator, but what the hell were you thinking? ) - Western Mafia -
Yes, it does seem we can learn a lot from his death. So unless someone has had some incredible insight and has a better suggestion I'm going to vote: Sebastien Vaughn / Shadows (at least for now, but as I have a feeling we're not going to get a better plan for today I think it's going to stand).
-
Oooh (just don't tell my mother anything, please)
-
Yes, at the moment this is probably our best lead, so I'm inclined to trust you in this. And no, the burden isn't yours alone, we're all in this together, and all your hard work in shedding light on this is much appreciated.
-
Father, I think you're right. Though it pains me greatly I have to agree that lynching uncle Charles is probably the best plan for the day.
-
Yay, good news We need some of that after the losing two of our own, though I'm inclined to say mr Sokern got what he deserved for being an idiot, and we're better off without him. This does fit the dictionary definition of a rogue at least, they do tend to work alone. I loved it too She does seem like a trustworthy person, and she did a lot for our conviction of Zed on Day 1. That's my primary reason for trusting her at least.
-
Sure hope it is, I'm starving, missed breakfast after all, but first, the important thing: Vote: sok117 / Adam Sokern. The mess with the protectors we can look into afterwards, as well as my possibly lycanthropic uncle who doesn't look too good either.
