Planning to get at least 7992, and possibly something else, I went to TRU today, and another shop nearby which has a 20% discount on LEGO. I did not find the 7992 in any of the shops though, so I instead went home with just a 7991. :-/ And a couple of days ago I orderered 200 3873s, so now I really have to finish my MBT design ;-) For non-LEGO shopping I've recently bought a new laptop, and Making Money by Terry Pratchett (newest Discworld book). This has really been an expensive week ;-)

I completely agree that they are great sets, they are, after all, the primary reason that I voted for Nautica :-) I just wondered because Calvin said mid-1990s, and I don't consider 1991 to be "mid-1990s" ;-)

Now you made me curious, what ports are you referring to? (assuming that I'm terrible at searching for sets ;-)) Can't find any ports from mid-1990s.. (and now I see that the Marina I linked to earlier isn't a part of Nautica.. oh well, my vote would still go to Nautica, even though it's a closer gap down to Divers now ;-))

Even though I never had any of the sets (and this is about modern nautical sets) I have to go for Nautica here, mainly due to those magnificent harbours, and that lovely marina *wub* (6543) Still, if the current harbour theme gets more sets of the same quality (I love my 7994, and I'm getting 7992 as soon as my student loan arrives ;-)) I think it could be really great. (but of course, Pirates beats them all easily *sweet* *pirate* (almost makes me wish I hadn't sold one of the two 10040s I bought back in March ;-)))

Second that, a lovely set *wub* ..and I really should finish doing an inventory of it for bricklink. Not tonight though, soon time for bed. And oo7, that's a very nice design for that lantern *wub*

And there are 8 different hats and hair pieces (two caps, two police hats, one top hat, one male hair piece, and two female hair pieces) which should indicate that there will be 8 minifigs in that set. Only three different torsos though, that really doesn't make sense..

Guess we have to get this conversation back to what's important then (and this I say after having spent quite a lot of time reading about the different ways of calculating the size of the Death Stars) ;-) And just in case it disappears ;-)
