So how is this firefighting game played? Is it free for all with many teams, just two teams, some kind of cup, or something completely different? And what is the firefighting game anyway? (Billund is way too close to not at least consider going to the next event, with the most important obstacles being a) time and b) money ;-) )

Quite likely, I have some ideas that I'd like to try out.. :-)

Well, obviously the lack of French baguettes on Dagobah must be due to some criminal act, which means that someone ( *yoda* ? ) must build a police vehicle suitable for Dagobah's climate. And what better opportunity to build such a vehicle than this contest? (can't see anything in the rules stating that it must be a City police vehicle X-D )

I think the goblin heads from 4714 Gringotts Bank in sand green would have worked better.

Though I fully agree that 6066 is masterpiece, I have to say that my definitive favourite is this; ..too bad my original copy has suffered badly over the years :-/ (but luckily I found two 10040s on sale back in March, 50% off, so I bought both *sweet* (and then sold one of them to a fellow AFOL the same day for less than full price in the shop, way lower than Bricklink)

From the little I've seen so far I like this set, so I'll get it for sure. :-) (unless later pictures makes me change my mind that is) You mean they are small, green and talking gibberish? Guess those dwarves don't have anything to fear then.. :-P Agreed! An elf-like fashion would be great! *wub* Elves on!

Well, it came to me as I was walking home one Monday evening a little over 9 years ago. Suddenly I realised that "Quarryman" was going to be my IRC-nick/handle/whatever online (taken from the Settlers games actually, been a fan of Settlers (I and II at least, all the later ones have sucked), the little quarrymen are so cute and funny jumping up on a huge rock to quarry out nice stones for building :-) (and it's not related to The Beatles at all, I actually found out that they used the name "The Quarrymen" after deciding to use it as my screen name.) So after that I've been using it for everything online, and to me it's perfectly natural to introduce myself as "Quarryman". (comes from meeting too many people I mainly know from IRC I guess X-D ). I used to have www.quarryman.net as my homepage (and it was the first hit on Google when searching for "quarryman"), but it expired at a time when I didn't have the money to renew it.. :-( )

Speaking of 101010, a few of my favourite quotes: "It's a lot like being drunk?" "What's so bad about being drunk?" "Ask a glass of water." "Ford, there's an infinite numbers of monkeys outside who want to discuss this script for Hamlet that they've worked out." "I don't make jokes in base 13." Since I felt like being nice (and because I strongly dislike caps abuse, I converted them for you :-P and one last quote, not sure who it's attributed to though.. anyone? "Some people drink to excess; I'll drink to anything!"

So how many 7090s do you have now? 8? Or more? :-P

I got some ideas yesterday, which unfortunately require some investments. On the other hand, September is two months away, so we'll see. It should be possible to enter something at least.. ;-)
