  1. These are really impressive! *wub* Wonder if pov-ray can use SVG for textures directly.. in that case they could be very useful :-)
  2. Willkommen Herr Kapitan! *pirate*
  3. Yuck.. Colbert said "legos" every time.. ;-)
  4. but she isn't due till November, so she shouldn't be knocked out this early ;-)
  5. 900 years old and still wants hookers.. amazing what viagra can do X-D
  6. :-DAs for your mods I think they're very nice, especially the 7772 based one, after all, in the set it's way too small, your design is much better. :-)
  7. Crap.. I've forgotten who I voted for :-( Guess that proves how important it is to write a post about my votes ;-) I do remember that I had a hard time deciding though, might have been *vader* and SW4J, but I really don't know.. At least there were lots of great entries, and Bottle-Bottle deserved all of it :-D
  8. Lovely entry! A bit weird that all the boxes are the same size, since they contain sets that differ a lot in size.. but that's probably the way things are going, even small sets with 1 MF and some small vehicle will come in a huge box :-P and for some reason your AFOL reminds me of this picture :-D (probably it's the long hair and the stubble) Right, so you spend nearly 2 hours doing ground work on 16x32, and here I'm planning an entry that seems best fit for 48x48 + 32x32.. makes me feel a bit nervous about the amount of work that's required :-D (luckily most of my entry will be covered by the drydock, which makes it a lot easier to plan ;-) ) Of course we will! Even the minors! (what is the legal age for drinking in your town anyway? :-D) Looking forward to see your entry! Couldn't have said it better myself. *y*
  9. It's good to see a close race poll, way too many polls here lately have had one clear winner early on :-D Personally I had to go with PaulC though, since the firehouse is "just" a firehouse, while the modular cars are innovative and cool *wub*
  10. It is! Haven't built the ship yet, since I saved that for last, and it was around 03:00 when I had finished the dock and the truck ;-) So I'm going to build that today :-) And I actually like the hull, hopefully there will be more ships based on that hull, in other colours. A red one, and perhaps a green one would be great :-)
  11. Seems like I'll go for my shipyard idea, bought 7994 today, partly because I wanted to use it for this contest. Seriously, that ship is huge X-D Guess I'll have to do some bricklink shopping the coming days/weeks ;-)
  12. You really should do something about that cough, it sounds very bad :-P
  13. Went to my "local" TRU today to look for Castle sets, but they only had the small ones, which I already have (and the 7029, which I don't have), so I bought a 7994 instead, and a 6112. Guess I'll go back some other day to get the 7029 though.. ;-)
  14. Looks great! And yes, the dog is really cute in that picture :-D
  15. Gemini/Silents - Back to Saturn
  16. Welcome, welcome :-)
  17. Hehe.. this was excellent! :-D Looking forward to the next issue :-) (and if you ever need a Norwegian consultant feel free to drop me a line)
  18. Well, obviously 2+2 equals 4, right? But, 2+2 can also equal 5 (for large values of 2). And 2+2 must be equal to 2+2, and thus 4 does equal 5 :-D (wonder if this was why I barely passed my math courses.. ;-) )
  19. You were going for a bar, right? In that case.. shouldn't you start by doing "research"? :-P
  20. Hardly relevant when they're not members on this website ;-) (I'm sure that if there was a large, active part of this website's members dedicated to quality discussion about Bionicle it would have it's own subforum.) And I also disagree about Bionicle being better than the other non-system themes. ;-)
  21. Definitely not.. I suggest that we expand the day to 30 hours. Everyone in favour say "aye" :-P ..and I was just going to ask how long this poll would be open, guess I've got my answer now.
  22. Welcome Mrs Vader :-) May you have a long and happy life with each other and LEGO :-)
  23. Hehe.. that's the same two I were deciding between too. 8-| On the one hand Sir Dillon's entry had that excellent "impending doom" feeling, and Norrington's innocent playing with his boat made me laugh hard the first time I saw it. On the other hand, ApophisV was the first one to actually use another sigfig too do the whacking, and his entry included some nice scenery too. His entry gave the impression that *yoda* needed to be held up to actually be able to hit someone, which I found very funny :-D But in the end my vote had to go to Sir Dillon, after all, his entry made me laugh the most *wub*
  24. Hmm.. still only two Norwegians.. guess that's me and UniqueBuilder ;-)
