  1. Happy 0x23! (I always find age looks so much nicer if written in hexadecimal ) Hope it's a good one!
  2. Kyle, in case you haven't already decided who to investigate this coming night (which suddenly seems awfully close ) I suggest that you investigate Lt. Byron.
  3. Kyle spoke the truth about me two days ago, that's good enough for me. Vote: ImperialShadows / Rotrigous
  4. Well, I have no reason for doubting Kyle in this particular case, as I know he's telling the truth. If that is "an alliance forming" so be it. Anyway, it's good to see that you don't think I have a night action, since it for a while seemed like everyone thought I had one, and that it was a highly negative one. I tried to go after someone yesterday, but I had no time to look for evidence to support my claims, so nobody believed me (which I perfectly well understand, I would have wanted at least some indications of guilt to cast a vote myself). That you demand action is all very well, but I'm afraid we need something to base the action on. (OOC: and I'm off to work, I'm already quite late, so don't expect much activity the next 8 hours or so.)
  5. Thanks Kyle, at least someone believes me How many times do I have to repeat that I do not have a night action? Seriously, if I had one, don't you think I would have used it earlier than night 11? And if I had used it, don't you think you would have noticed some effect? After all, I've never been blocked before (every time someone has been blocked it has been some indication of it happening, this was the first time anything was mentioned about me.). So it's obviously wrong to assume that just because someone can be blocked they also must have a night action. (OOC: And it makes perfectly sense (from a gamemaster point of view anyway) to not let blocking give away anything about whether or not the blocked person was actually blocked from doing something.).
  6. Good job! Now, take out draggy too, and then we can all go home for lunch Anyway, as I a was going to say, blocking me is wasting a night action, as I don't have a night action you can block. I'd suggest you block someone else the coming night , assuming that draggy doesn't drag us through another insane history lesson locked in here.
  7. No-one, so stop daydreaming
  8. Ah, obviously I have to join too. Even though the chances of winning are infinitesimally small
  9. Congratulations! (and shame on copmike for not picking the Answer as the winning number )
  10. And so, late in the evening Michael finally woke from his slumber in a dark corner and went off to find a proper bed, hoping to avoid encountering any bonkerhappy lords. (OOC: Sorry for posting so little during this Day, I've been quite busy as the fall term just started at my university, and never found the necessary time to go through older threads looking for evidence, and currently I'm in Riga, Latvia on holiday. I will look through the older threads for Day 12 though, assuming I'm still alive when Day 12 starts. )
  11. a) Make sure you are working on a layer, not the background. (colours on the background can't be set to transparent for some reason) b) Delete the colour(s) that (is|are) to be transparent c) Image->Mode->Indexed d) Save as GIF. It will complain about GIF not supporting layers, so just let it merge the visible layers. That should do the trick.
  12. Though your birthday has ended where I am it's still going on where you are. Happy birthday you builder of amazing MOCs! Hope it was a great one!
  13. No, I don't. You bonked me as I was on my way to bed, and after that Kyle found me, tortured me, and I spoke freely as I have nothing to hide. And so we return to the problem of there being a traitor in the royal guard. I know there is one (just like you, Lord Savril, knew that at least one other lord was a traitor). And it wasn't Grim (may he rest in peace), and it wasn't Fred (may he forgive us for our terrible decision yesterday), and it's not me. Which leaves only one option. Vote: Cpt. Pegleg / Lt. Byron. (remember that the generals were part of the army, not part of the royal guard) I'll review some of the later days to gather proper support for this accusation, but I am certain that he is the one. (for instance he didn't vote for neither General Marcus nor Lady Suzanne.) However, as is customary in such circumstances (that is, because Rotrigous did it on Day 3 ) I will offer to commit suicide tomorrow if it turns out that he wasn't a traitor. But he is, so I won't have to do that. I realised yesterday that he was the traitor, not Fred like I had thought for so long that I only looked for evindence against him, and never considered that Lt. Byron could be the one. So there you have it, for once I have cast the first stonevote, and I've never been so sure that it was correct. Oh, and before you start yelling about me being the traitor in the guard think about this: Would I even have brought up the topic if I was the one? Doesn't make sense now, does it?
  14. You really shouldn't comment on the game in here like that, and I really should know better than to reply, but I feel a need to set the record straight: Hinckley cast the first vote for you, I cast the second. Then the lynch mood of the players did the rest. Everyone wanted to lynch someone, you were the unlucky one. That's the way these games go I'm afraid.
  15. Poor Fred. I hope he has found peace in Heaven and can forgive us this terrible error. Hmm, so it wasn't you that bonked me? Interesting. My head hurts like hell, and I was so angry with you as I thought it was you that bonked me. Anyway, thanks for proving that I'm a loyalist. Question is of course, does it prove anything else? As ImperialShadows has pointed out, you could be a neutral mercenary. On the other hand, if you are neutral you probably need us loyalists to win to win yourself. So I actually think it's in our best interest to keep you alive. For the time being. So, who do you suggest we go after today? Kyle? I'm not sure that's a good idea. Working on that, though I think it may have been Lord Savril that made us swing that way. At least this time I know he's telling the truth, and that means quite a lot to me.
  16. Right now it's a liveset with Ferry Corsten from Dance Department 15th September 2001
  17. Still in university studying computer science (with a focus on hardware design / embedded systems), this semester we're going to build a lisp-machine (that is, a CPU that runs Lisp code). Also, I work part-time doing web development using the Python framework Django.
  18. First of all, I was discussing upcoming sets with the particular designer, and he talked about the Taj Mahal that they had in the office. So no, it clearly wasn't Michael's mosque we were talking about. "A mosque, just inspired by Khiva, Buchara, Samarkand..." (for those too lazy to check the Brickshelf-link ) Actually, he lives in Sandefjord, Norway. Unless he's moved to Oslo lately? (that Ryanair and other el cheapo airlines call Sandefjord airport Torp "Oslo airport Torp" doesn't change the fact that it's a long way from Oslo ) But this is somewhat off-topic though... Yes, it certainly looks like it's 4 blue 32x32 baseplates covered by white 2x2 turntable-bases. This picture clearly shows that the ground is only baseplate+tile height, while this picture clearly shows that the ground beneath the white 2x2 turntable bases is blue.
  19. Hello and welcome to EB! Enjoy your stay. Took a look at some of your buildings, hilarious customers in the bank
  20. I'm in a hurry, have to catch a train soon, but this was very good, your usual quality. Good piece usage, and I just love that throne I'll probably write a more nitpicking post later with some (hopefully) constructive critisism, but for now, great job, looking forward to the next chapter.
  21. Bah, of course I discover after I have spent a long time looking for a picture that Stauder beat me to it. Oh well, here's the picture anyway: (courtesy of Hinckley)
  22. Quite. Or, at least it didn't hurt. Though I must admit I at times really wanted to be able to vote you out Anyway, in case anyone cares (and since I'm bored at work waiting for the time to become "time to leave for the train") I did a quick post count of Day 10: (and included both Stauder and Dragonator to make it add up) 23 Hinckley 19 I Scream Clone 19 Stauder 17 Adam 17 ImperialShadows 17 Quarryman 12 commanderbly42 11 Zepher 10 Cpt.Pegleg 9 Trexxen 6 Dragonator 5 TheBrickster So Stauder actually was the second most active poster, tied with ISC. No wonder we wanted to kill him
  23. Yes, that would be very interesting And now I can remove my index, hurray.
  24. That is indeed suspicious behaviour. I also thought he was involved in getting us to vote for Spencer instead of Marcus on Day 5, but it seems like that was mainly Spencer's own doing (as he confessed to having killed Mike), and Rotrigous cast the first stonevote. And then the rest of us just bleated along like the nice little sheep we are. Still, I don't think any conclusions can be drawn from this. Maybe that Spencer was a fool though Hmm, and I notice now that Fred did seem a bit eager to get rid of Spencer.
  25. As Gary already pointed out, though he seemed uncertain, so I'll just confirm it; Fred is Adam. And, as I've been suspecting him for a while too (one hears nasty rumours flying around the barracks, indicating that there without a doubt is a traitor in the royal guard). Vote: Adam / Fred, soldier in the royal guard
