Ah, the Black Falcon's Fortress I have very fond memories of this set, I think it was my first castle set, certainly my first castle. Remember buying it for almost all the money I got for my birthday in 1988, it cost 320 NOK. Thank you for yet another great review, for me it was a lovely trip down Nostalgia Street. I just wish I wasn't in my Dark Ages when the 10039 was released.

So you're saying you think John is a heretic, is that it?

Tried sending a PM to TinyPies just now, and got an error message about his inbox being full. So TinyPies, if you read this, please free up some space in your inbox

No, I didn't attack anyone in the night, as I said earlier today. I did receive a Potato MessageHoly Vision from God urging me to make use of my special ability the coming night though, which I'm afraid I must adhere to, as I don't want to incur His holy wrath. I'm still open for suggestions for who it should be though, like Alexander suggested yesterday.

Which is a bit frustrating I might add, but it's better not to fulfill my nightly possibilities and live, than the opposite. If only there was someone highly suspicious. Interesting, he wasn't anywhere near the top of my list of suspects. And he did cast the final vote for Cassandra yesterday, but I guess that might have been to look less suspicious after seeing the way things were going.

And +1 for pr0visorak. -
But she was a witch, so good riddance. Saves me from killing her while she slept, which I'll have to admit I was at a time considering. :skull: And I've made some interesting observations about today's events, but more about those tomorrow. It's quite late, I should be in bed. Which I'm sure will feel a lot better without that bitchwitch in it.

Remember that the day starts a lot earlier in Singapore than in the US. And it's not a metric thing, even in civilized Europe we are just concluding Day 3.

Foggy memories is how God made us I'm afraid. I'm also not entirely, one hundred percent sure that I saw Sergio buy the scimitar, but I'm quite certain that I did. Though, the visions from God are usually quite unclear, or so I've heard. That being said, I'm afraid I'll have to jump on the bandwagon here, at least for a while, and vote for my own wife. Vote: Cassandra / Bob the construction man.

Uhm, why?

So no-one bought the cauldron or the witch hat. Hardly a surprise, anyone buying one of those items would look highly suspicious. Buying bananas and fish might not be suspicious, but I do wonder who picked up the treasures. I was there and bought the gunpowder though, and I'm quite sure I saw Sergio buy a scimitar. Which he said earlier that he wanted, but couldn't afford. Strange. Did perhaps Mustafa give you a discount?

Yes, I did follow that suggestion. I was going to mention that earlier, but I forgot.

Hmm, we have heard from Cassandra today. But not from Sabrina. And yes, John does seem a bit fast to vote today. Maybe we could just vote off Sabrina though? I mean, if she's not going to contribute to the investigations there's no need for her to live, now is there? Who is this Quarryman you're talking about? Is there another one in Azufre that has announced that he can kill people at night?
-
Uhm, according to Fernando he is working with Martinus to investigate people. Now, the reason we got Bernard yesterday was because Fernando and Martinus had uncovered that Bernard was a heretic. And now you want to kill Martinus? Why?
-
Well, at least you give me a chance to redeem myself. Thank you.

It was either revealing and perhaps live, or stay silent and be sure to be condemned. Not a hard choice I think. Everyone was crying out for me to explain, so I did. Lying about what I did the first night would only have hurt my cause. Am I a witch? No, I'm not. As for being reliable in my actions, I have only performed one action, which isn't enough to determine any reliability. Innocent, yes. Stupid, perhaps. What is certain is that I didn't have much choice this morning except confessing. Which of course is the difficult part of being on the side of the good guys and have the ability to kill at night. It's damn hard to find a proper target. Especially the first night. But not using a night action is just as bad, or even worse. It does. So who do you suggest I kill this coming night?

I can see I'm a man in high demand today. Let me just start with saying that yes, I was the one that attacked Alexander during Night 1. But I did it because I thought it was very likely that he was a false priest serving someone completely different from God. After the events of yesterday it seems I was acting a bit too rash, and thus I'm happy that my attack was unsuccessful. Father, I beg your forgiveness. Also, I remember a story about an army general who did pretty much the same that I did the first night. That general was innocent, and so am I. But as soon as he admitted his fault everyone turned on him and he ended up dead. And that's mainly why I didn't come out with this yesterday, the way things were shifting from one person to the next I thought it was quite likely that everyone would turn on me and so we, the innocent citizens of Azufre would have lost a valuable asset. So I tried to keep a low profile during yesterday, which though it looks suspicious at least let me live until today, and still be useful to the town. Of course, the main problem with coming out openly with what I can do at night is that now everyone, including the witches and heretics, knows my ability. Now, the way I see this it's very likely the witches&heretics can't kill at night. Or at least, they haven't done so yet. So they rely on converting others to the side of darkness to gain control of the town. So here I stand, there's nothing else I can do. God help me. Amen. (OOC: as for my low level of activity during the last day, that was mainly due to being very busy with the national assembly of one of the many organisations I'm a member of.)

So, unvote Martinus / Pickerel. The rest I have to think a bit about.

Sandy, I have to agree with you, that is the most beautiful thing you've built with LEGO so far. At least the best one you showed us. Guess the only potential criticism would be the high number of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces, but you've put them to such good use that they add to the overall impression instead of detract from it. Well done!
-
I'm sorry too, Vote: Martinus / Pickerel But seeing where this leads is just too interesting, and probably useful, not to vote for you. Even though I am in no way convinced about your guilt.

Need help with identifying a couple of pieces
Quarryman replied to Quarryman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Actually, I came across it in Stavanger, Norway, at "Barnas Drømmeby" (Childrens' Dream City). Like other building events, there were quite a few rare/strange parts among all the basic stuff. Thanks for clarifying. Now I can sleep better at night -
I recently came across these two pieces, which seem to designed to be put together to form a complete picture. Problem is, I can't find out where they come from, can't find them on Bricklink or Peeron, so I turn to EB, maybe someone here can help me solve this mystery. And they are printed, it's not a sticker.

Well, adding a window would of course require that you move the quarter cylinder panels out one stud, at least, to make an opening. Not sure how well it would work, I did a quick mock-up in MLcad with exaggerated colours to show the idea though: I have no idea how well it will work IRB though. And I didn't add the other walls, left as an exercise for the reader or something As for having dashing young knights climb in the window; with you designing the princess' chamber I'd be more worried about the princess climbing out to go on adventures (which should be possible though, don't you think?)
-
Now if Sabrina is a horse, what does that say about Mustafa's taste in women? Seriously, these foreigners... On a more serious note though, I'm really sorry to see you leave ISC, hope to see you around in some other mafia game, you're a great player of this game.. of life.

As I am a sucker for tiled floors I just have to say that I think it would look better with tiles (yes, I know, you don't like them ) The furniture is very good, my personal favourite would have to be the spinning wheel, love that, and the bed is great too. I do think a window in the round part would be good, is that planned to be part of a tower btw? I think it should be part of a tower, that would look great. Then again, a window there would let someone else high up in a tower to look straight inn on the princess in bed.. hmm And also I think the carpet would benefit from being bigger, perhaps 4x6 or 6x6. That it's purple is great though, it looks like something a princess would have. He would have checked Wikipedia, of course http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodturning#History (at least that's what I think the pole turner refers to, whoever that added it to the list is welcome to clarify) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fletching
