    I got bored one day and came across some Power Rangers Brickheadz. I decided to make some based on the 17th season of Super Sentai, which is a 42 year old show that Haim Saban would later adapt in 1992 with Zyuranger becoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This is the appearance of the Dairangers.

    Those grey balljoints look really bad, I wish they were recolored so they wouldn't be out of place.

    As a kid, I broke apart so many lego sets that they would be impossible to rebuild because I've scrambled all the pieces needed & I've lost quite a few moving house. I've destroyed a soccer stadium, basketball court, Gadunka, the temple in the fourth Indiana Jones movie & the 2008 set form of Takanuva to name the ones I regret destroying.

    I've never seen a non-dubbed episode of Kamen Rider, but I am a Super Sentai fan. One of the seasons I've seen is Gosei Sentai Dairanger & I find it interesting to see what got skipped over during the second season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. While I don't have a favorite episode, I can easily say my favorite character is Daigo because he's the green ranger. My favorite season would be Timeranger because of the theme song & the plot twist with Naoto Takizawa.

    I'm confused about the pricing for Lego sets such as this one, how do I work out a price to piece ratio?

    I think books surpass movies in some areas because of one of the reasons said by Japanbuilder. Not to mention that amazing books with interesting themes & ideas are often butchered into mediocre films because of whitewashing or directors not understanding what makes the source material so appealing, misrepresentation of minorities & choosing to add unnecessary subplots such as the romantic subplot between a heterosexual couple.

    The lighting & special effects is absolutely amazing, I'd love to see a tutorial on the spells/charms & curses.

    I really like the looks of the individual Mixels, mixes & maxes. Sweepz is the most interesting set to me because of the the green sweeper pieces & i think the Nindja Max is the best looking combiner.

    The animations were really bad in comparison to the old Bionicle flash animations such as the MNOG cutscenes or the Bohrok Flash animations. They were designed to captivate an audience, with a good soundtrack, fluid animation & most important of all, interesting characters. The characters felt alive because they were all so interesting & the audience could connect with them. Who doesn't love the Chronicler's Company, Takua or Kongu to name a few characters? With the animations, the Toa weren't able to show off their personality traits or do anything that makes the audience like them. I also have to mention how everyone on BZPower laughed at Lewa losing his mask in one of the animations. If a moment that is meant to harm the character is treated like a joke, then that is a bad sign. I don't think making more episodes is going to save the show if it continues to display little to no development for the Toa, villagers or even Umarak.

    I love Pixar films, but let's talk about how too many Pixar movies don't have gender equality & fail the Bechdal test, despite them being made by a multimillion dollar company that has made so many imaginative worlds. The Incredibles, Brave, Toy Story 3 & A Bug's Life all pass the test while the rest fail.

    The trailer itself isn't too bad. The worst part of it is the misogynistic fanboys who down-voted the trailer & used it as an excuse to spew more sexist garbage.

    While the function isn't very good for Storm Beast, the other beasts & Umarak due to the lack of friction, at least this set has the best color scheme out of the newer sets. One of the problems I have with this set is that the crystal shells look really tiny when used on longer bone pieces. I wish they were add ons placed on top of regular shells.

    Seeing that transparent black piece makes me wish there was more CCBS pieces in that color.

    Compared to Bruizer, Quake Beast's asymmetry looks awful whereas the Hero Factory set gave the impression of a rock golem with a massive armored arm & the function actually works, this beast has a shoddy function & the asymmetry is ugly.
