  1. The Chip‘n‘Dale Torso from the Disney CMF2 should work perfectly for it!
  2. It is just the legs. But from looking at it, they look like the same legs as the 3 characters in the middle have, the white, red and gold legs with the printed stripes on them. So you could easily order matching torsos from BnP to make them complete.
  3. I don‘t think that most people will just buy the set for the rat-costume. Ninjago City/Docks has shown that people just like the design elements of the east asian culture. And the complains about the exclusivity of the wave last year made Lego even to change their guidelines for the regional exclusives. I think a rodent costume of some kind will show up in S20, which will release 5 months after the CNY set.
  4. And even that Jabba the Hutt dual pack was a false interpretation. The soon to come kylo - Sith dual pack is the one, a few thought would be the Jabba one, as Marcos said in the interview. Don't expect Jabba to be coming soon.
  5. What often helps me is, when I see a set in the store that has been build. But if you still don't like, just don't buy it. Nobody forces you to pay for it :)
  6. I agree with you on the stickers, that really shouldn't have been a problem to make the name tags as prints. As I heard though, the towballs or sockets are tough to make with different colours as they change the material properties quite a bit, can't tell you a source though. I guess by now they would've made them in different colours if it was easy. There are quite a few sets where grey doesn't fit the scheme of the build. But in the end, it is Lego and you don't have to buy it if you don't like it, or do buy it and change what you want ;) Well, but that is just "taste" I think. I agree that they don't look as "bony" now, but I can also see why they changed it so much. The project was all digital, I don't even know if it would have been possible (even with the supports) to make them at all standing the way they were designed by the fan. I see the set as great starter set, that you can alter, change parts or extend with more dinosaurs if you like.
  7. I think what people should realise is, that a LEGO "Ideas" project is just an "idea" for them to make a set upon. I'm sure LEGO does not have the urge to stay as close as possible to the project. Instead they take the idea and make a set out of it, that goes along with their standards of quality like sturdiness, playability etc. And they have to look economically at it. There is an interesting article on Brickset saying they would have to make 46 parts new in tan, that haven't been produced at all or just way back in comparison with the actual set. Imagine how many new parts they wood have needed for something close to the project?
  8. I think that could be related to Wall-E, so like single Disney brick-built characters. Imagine the Star Wars BB8, Porg and Yoda (which btw is also Disney), but with characters like Mickey, Donald, Stitch, you name it....
  9. The Harry Potter people in the Licensed thread say it's not Errol. As I wrote there, I could imagine the Bulldog in the Modular Building, and the owl maybe to a possible Winnie the Pooh ideas set, that just reached 10.000 votes. But Hidden Side seems plausible as well.
  10. In know that the regular Ideas timeframes work like that, but Steamboat Willie was like already on shelves, pretty much right after the announcement. As this is also Disney this COULD happen ;)
  11. I could imagine, that the bulldog belongs to the creator expert modular building that is due in January. That would fit the time of the leak and last years modular also had animals (parrot, bunny and shepherd). The leaked "robber", that came along with the bulldog could also fit the modular building. I guess the owl doesn't look old enough to be in a possible Winnie the pooh ideas set, does it? Because one reached the 10.000 votes lately.
  12. Thank you! That would make sense!
  13. Hmm, interesting! Back or forth in time?
  14. Sadly we all know that this won‘t happen :/
  15. The red plates are from the speedchampions ferrari f40. They‘re the roof of the car ;)
  16. German Lego News Blog promobricks.de posted news about the 2 Architecture Skylines 2020. We will be getting 21051 - Tokio - 547 pcs - 60 EUR with Tokio Towers, Mode Gaukeln Cocoon Towers, Tokio Skytrees, cherry trees and colourful advertising signs. 21052 - Dubai - 740 pcs - 60 EUR with Jumeirah Emirates Tower, Dubai Frame, Burj Khalifa and Burj al Arab.
  17. The "Westminster Quarters" are still a bit irritating then. Looking at the wiki article, there's no connection at all to Russia. In the US there's a connection to the Yankees and Lakers, but I kinda doubt both. Maybe it is this (taken from the wiki article): "Some electronic civil defense sirens in the United States manufactured by Federal Signal Corporation such as the Electronic Outdoor Warning Siren (EOWS), Modulator, and the Directional Speaker Array (DSA) sound off the chimes on a daily basis." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westminster_Quarters
  18. I'm really digging this "we're not in Hawkins anymore". In addition to the Big Ben sound makes me wonder if they actually will be in London.
  19. There was an interview about the Lester availability at the store opening, which I‘m now to lazy to search for, but it said the following: Originally it wasn‘t planned to release the fig physically at all and was just meant for promotion. When they realized how popular it was they decided to make it physically. Only problem was that the they had less than 300 black bowler hats in storage. Time was too short to make new ones in time for the opening, but printing torso and head wasn‘t a problem. So that limited number of 275 was due to the shortage of the hat. As they were expecting a lot of people for the opening, they came up with the scratch lottery that not just the first few people get them, but you had the chance all over the opening weekend to get one. As soon as they had the capacities for the bowler hat, lester was put in polybags for everyone to get.
  20. @StoneWarsDE just had an article that linked the teaser from yesterday to set 40432 on bricksets database. The theme is called "rebuild the world". Also, a new teaser with a 24h countdown and a rabbit appeared today on Lego's social media, so we won"t have to wait long for answers. https://www.stonewars.de/geruechte/lego-rebuild-the-world-teaser/ https://brickset.com/sets/40432-1/Rebuild-the-World-minifigure
  21. He added the instruction as stud.io file in his article ;)
  22. I could see quite a few ones that still haven‘t been made: Hong-Kong, Singapore, Tokio, Toronto, LA, Moscow, Beijing, ... As far as we know there is just one skyline coming in January, right?
  23. I might be lucky, but I placed 2 orders in early August here in Germany and it worked totally fine. Both orders arrived in the regular timespan.
  24. On @StoneWarsDE, there are excellent detail pictures of each of the figures: https://www.stonewars.de/reviews/lego-71025-minifiguren-serie-19-review/
  25. There is no set as for yet. It was just my opinion that I think, as soon as they will be in some kind of „regular“ set, I‘m sure they‘ll be able to order.
