As written in the Action Figure forum, i want to build a black Batman Action Figure based on 4526. My problem is how to take the mask apart from the head, because they are clearly two parts and it would make coloring the mask black a lot easier. On to my other problem: How to paint it black? Since it is the soft rubber, I don't know if dying or airbrushing or just take edding would work best. I hope some of you have experience in that or can link me a thread that maybe already solved these problems. Thanks in advance!

Hey everybody, I've been browsing this forum a lot lately, so I figured, why not join! My main interests are Lego Batman, the CMF's and Architecture. I also like to build rare DC sets (SDCC Batmobile, SDCC Superman Action Comic, VIP Batpod). In the meantime I play LMO and maybe someone recognizes me as EdibleRubbleKraken. Take care!

I need help for the Batman: In order to have a Batman from "The Dark Knight" to fit the Batpod (5004590) I wanted to make the mask of the 4526 black. Does anyone know how to take the head apart, since there are surely two parts (mask in blue, soft rubber; head in light flesh, ABS) and it would be easier to recolor the mask if they were apart. I unscrewed the ball joint but don't want to break anything off. Thanks in advance!
