  1. Well, Goofy does exist in conductor form, so I could see this definetly happening: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/disney-pin-goofy-train-conductor-12111811
  2. The series is also out early in Germany. I have purchased a few already but was in a hurry so couldn't get all of them yet.
  3. As they wanted this to be space themed, I guess it will be a gwp when the City Nasa sets go on sale.
  4. The two alternate builds also look like amusement park related to me.
  5. I guess you get a lifetime stock of tan grills with the ESB!
  6. I have seen leaks now of both the Empire State and the Trafalgar Square. As the ESB was a no-brainer as I collect the NYC sets, the Trafalgar quite surprised me with the whole facade of the National Gallery. I kinda thought they just do the "square" and it looks like it has a different Scale than the Buckingham.
  7. I think the designer can be happy, as he now gets 90ct per sold set in comparison to 20/30ct per set if TLG would have made the set close to his submission. As TLG has had 24 Ideas sets on the shelf now, I think they know that it will sell. There are many collectors out there that just want to have all the ideas sets and I think, that there are many buyers that prefer the silver over the b&w figs.
  8. @anothergol it was about the bowls from the chinese new years set, wasn‘t it?
  9. Do you remember that it was an exclusive for the Asia/Australia region? So it does make a whole lot of a sense, that these parts are more available in the region where the set is actually being sold.
  10. As far as I remember, there is a 1x1 round wood tile, so you can modify the car if you wish.
  11. Would it be okay to post a (blurry) pic of the supercharger? It has no watersign on it...
  12. Just quoting wiki here ;)
  13. @henrysunset Hey Tom, I just kinda relized that you are the one behind the brickarchitect. Thanks a lot for that awesome page!!! Concerning the awareness of Lego Architecture, in Germany it is now sold at every retailer that carries Lego. That is something that started just now with the chinese wall and the SOL. And even more so, the whole lineup is featured in the retailer catalog here, which is also a first.
  14. I can't disagree with you, they're all more known as a landmark than of architectural significance. But to feature a Building in an Architecture series that has been the tallest building for 30sth years isn't too far off. Wiki also says: "The Empire State Building is an American cultural icon ... . A symbol of New York City, the tower has been named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The Empire State Building and its ground-floor interior have been designated as a city landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and were confirmed as such by the New York City Board of Estimate. It was also designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986, and was ranked number one on the American Institute of Architects' List of America's Favorite Architecture in 2007."
  15. Well, I think ESB does have quite of an Architectural impact, so I can understand that it is being added to the line. Trafalgar on the other hand is like Trevi fountain just landmark, which could've been replaced with something of more impact.
  16. Lego really loves NYC and London. According to "zusammengebaut" covering the Nuremberg toy fair, an Empire State Building (21046) is coming later in the year. It will be about 30-40cm high, very detailed, 99,99 EUR. Another set will be Trafalgar Square (21045) with the fountain and a doubledecker bus, 79,99 EUR
  17. @kaelthas You‘re welcome! I‘ve always planned to do a compilation but was always to lazy to do it. So really thanks for doing it!
  18. Thank you for the compilation! You forgot a few already released from TLM2, as the one from the moviemaker 70820, Emmets House 70831 and the one from the Minifigure series: 71023. but probably because they‘re not on Bricklink, yet.
  19. Hey @Lucarex, sorry to disappoint you, but this project is still on hold. Just had so much more important stuff to do that I still haven‘t made them yet. If I ever get to Han, I‘ll drop you a note!
  20. Thank you for the nice review! Could you confirm or deny if the head of the piggy suit is the same as Lester from the Leicester Square?
  21. I actually don't see a skyline happen. WH or WM are still my biggest bets, if it is a DC set. Why wouldn't they do the Smithsonian Castle? It's known worldwide and with Louvre and Guggenheim they did "one" museum twice already.
  22. I can actually see a few things: a re-done White House like they did with Guggenheim and Burj, the Washington Monument or practically anything on the Mall they haven‘t done yet...
