I think it is just common knowledge that Lego releases 3 cmf each year.

I believe Robert was referring to the fact we know there are 3 CMF series being released next year, not 3 waves of HP sets.

Just saw on IG that someone claims to have hacked in to the Nintendo Switch eShop and there is a Lego The Legend of Zelda game listed. Could this mean that Lego has a listening agreement with Nintendo and we could potentially see Nintendo IP Lego sets soon?

Our store usually gives a 20% discount on sets with damaged boxes. However in the case of certain sets (mostly newly released or larger, collectible sets) they give anywhere from 500-1500 VIP points for the damage depending on the price of the set. We have some great employees at the store who often post to the local LUG Facebook page what damaged sets they get in. I've managed to get the Disney Castle, and Joker Manor with similar bonus points. An excellent deal if you aren't concerned about the boxes!

Just picked up a Hogwarts. Was going to wait until a good GWIP or double points, but my Lego store received one with a damaged box and they gave me an extra 1000 VIP points. I know what I'm doing this weekend!!!!!

IS Newt using the old style suitcase/briefcase or the new one that came with the CMF. It really looks like the old one to me.

I saw these on IG yesterday. They would be easy enough to make by just looking at the pictures, but a part list would be nice for ordering the pieces. Anybody seen one?

I really doubt we get 5 Harry Potter sets. I’m guessing 3, 4 at most. With fantastic beast releasing late November, I would imagine a set or two relate to that.

I wish they would keep consistent with the street lights. It seems like every winter village set uses a different street lamp build.

Black card is a star wars specific promotion. I wouldn't expect any perks outside of the Star Wars, ever.

Prepare to be furious...They aren't going to retroactively hand out sets to people who have already purchased a set. This is not a new marketing move for Lego. There have been plenty of other GWIP that coincide with sets that came out several months after release. It's a way to drum up extra interest in larger sets. Those who have to have it don't need motivation to get it. Those who are on the fence, won't be first week buyers, and this may be enough to convince them to buy. I held off buying it because I thought this was a possibility, and even if not there are double points or other incentives to buy later. Being first isn't always best!

Seeing some posts of the CMF on instagram at Target. Looks like they are ringing up at $4.49. Can anyone confirm if they raised the prices $.50?

Somebody overlaid the real DB5 over the Lego version. Is it perfect, no but from the side profile it is a lot better than I thought.

Just finished putting together the Hogwarts Express. I really like it, but I really wish it came with a second passenger car. Definitely not bad enough to buy a second set, but maybe I’ll have to find one on the secondary market.

If that is the case, why not make 100,000 of them take 5000 and put a special print on the back (SDCC 2018 or something to that effect), put them in exclusive packaging and gave them away. Then 3 months later put the other 95,000 in a polybag and sell them. That way not nearly as much extra time on the marketing floor. Granted there are not many SDCC exclusive that I wish I could have.
