I mean don’t they get sent to Legoland Stores as surplus merch? I can still find CMF from the Lego Movie 2, series 19 and 20 at my local Legoland. No way Lego would recycle sets when they could make money sending them to other retailers

I’m not taking chances on this set, after missing out on the Classic TV Series Batmobile in the lego store this morning by minutes this is not happening on June 1st!

I learned my lesson! This won’t happen come June 1st! Between Star Wars, MCU and Creator 31120 no way hahaha it’s going down!!! Star Wars Force Friday was the only holiday I lined up outside the Lego Store but never figured for DC sets it would had been the issue lolol

Just managed to score the Shang Chi sets!!! between the Star Wars, the MCU and Castles lolol

I saw this, checked that my local store has them in stock but my lego store opens at 11am I went by 11:15am and all sets were sold out, one of my good friends who’s a rep at that store told me the line was around the corner 2 stores down the mall wanting the same set but they only got 6 in. I’ll wake up earlier next time damn hahaha luckily I bought one at my legoland store but it was the last one!

It’s like someone mentioned up above, I like diversity army building, storm troopers are ok because they literally look the same, knights can be varied from different helmets, armor, shields, etc IMHO I think! I can honestly say they might reuse the same torso found in 21325 if they reused a pirate torso so it might be the same, who knows

They are super easy! I just ordered 10 torsos on Saturday, I’ve managed to order almost everything from 21325 Black Falcon related to be honest, Torsos, legs, Armors, shields and swords a little bit at a time but in a 2 week time span, I always check it religiously I’m somewhat mad this set’s not getting the coverage it deserves, i’ve seen more sites cover other sets coming out in June than this. But so far estimated preorders are listing it for 99.99 usd so good question if it would be $150, to be honest I wouldn’t mind it, This is the only set I”m looking forward to get this year to be honest! I am so curious to see what the backside holds, it’s a nice village/castle combo and would fit great with any castle but as usual not enough mini figs, would have loved to see pre fab chickens but oh well, that dragon looks good from the box art but we will see!

One of the youtube channels tried imaging enhancing software and made me realize 2 things, they brought back an old tree branch piece and the old school fire breathing mouthpiece for the dragon and I love it!!! It looks like a modern take of the BF castle from the 70’s/80’s and that yellow brick screams it!! Even the windows are similar to that style and I love it, the only sad news about waiting is that may has 5 weeks this year lmao

WOWOWOWOW, I was getting bummed out about this set not being leaked at all versus all the summer sets and at this point I thought it was a figment of my imagination hahaha but it is GLORIOUS!!! I love it, I love everything from the set, the brick built banners, the dragon, the towers, the mini village, my only disappointment is no BF King or Queen but I am soooo glad I managed to place an order of these extra figures from the medieval blacksmith, I might need 2 of these sets. I had low expectations but the pictures surpassed it!

Do you think the Legoland pirate brochures had them? You see him more in more lego maniac commercials also

Unpopular Lego Opinion would be the 4 types of numbered bags of the same number 🤣🤣

That would be nice!! Kind of curious how it will all play out, sometimes just a normal set has those bags that wake up the dead at night in a quite household just touching and opening one bag!

For Sellers I mean, they are overpricing a ton of normal stuff like model cars, action figures, lego and other merchandise

Thank you guys for helping me figure out that the Old VIP system was the better example. I am lucky and fortunate enough to live in a city that has a Legoland Discovery Center AND a Lego store. In my situation i did used to buy more Lego sets through the lego store in the past because the old system did reward you with more points, I think it was for every 100 Bucks you go 5 bucks back, not it feels like it’s 200 or so more than anything. I remember them changing the rules a while by telling me I couldn’t use more than 20 bucks discount on a lego set when in the past one could had used up to 100$ on a set. Next thing you know, it now takers longer to the points to reflect in your account versus the instantaneous results in your receipt. With that said there’s not that many exclusivity to being a Lego VIP member, their rewards center has laughable rewards and their rewards method of lottery driven items is a laughable attempt to get rid of your points for “free”. The best rewards system I have ever subscribed to in retail was Toys R us, for a 100 bucks spent I got 10 bucks back. But since I have a LegoLand in my town I found it way better to be an annual pass member and use the Legoland 10% Discount in all their sets. Been buying them ever since there, not to mention they even get sets released earlier than the Lego store sometimes. That’s just my 2 cents, using VIP points in the past helped you get at least your entire order with a nice decent discount but it was once in a while, where as the 10% Legoland discount is all the time, suffice it to say I think i found my niched store now!

Whatever you do, avoid eBay Japan, their export fees make their price jump up more usual than their other world wide counterparts

I just got mine BnP’s order from a long time ago like you mentioned, I too have informed delivery and I agree everyone should get it along with the UPS and Fed EX since it gives you a heads up whenever a shipping label is created to your name and address, in my case I got the receipt from lego about my order not too long ago then saw the tracking number reflect before lego even emailed it to me, it shows up as DHLGM and always comes from New Jersey but it has the Enfield, CT Sticker lolol it’s like it knows. This time it took 5 days from the moment it arrived in New Jersey to Texas, for the first time ever my BnP arrived in a small box rather than an envelope, but then again I had a mediocre medium order. I’m am looking forward to a huuugeee order I placed and counting the days until I see it shipped. I don’t blame you, shipping services want to blame the pandemic for horrible customer service LOL

I learned to cope with this, for one they managed to release their vision of the modular v1 castle, now it feels like we are ready for the second version that’s nostalgic to the sets released 20 years ago. I do agree that I feel backstabbed because the set is completely adding a basement and we can’t add it to the old one but still we will see what will happen

You are right, after looking into the sets, the ninjago sets actually might be perfect shells for either Castle or Pirates, hell even the Keepers village could be used for a new version of the islanders if you swap some parts and add in the famous stone statues and work!!! My local Legoland store was out of the 2020 sets, but I finally found them in an off the wall shop! Thanks! I ended up getting 2 sets just because bricks and pieces are taking forever with their orders because of the pandemic, the tiles I’ll see if i can get lucky with bricklink! I am honestly in the process of expanding the soldiers fort and the 31109 creator pirate ship along with a modern version of the 21006 White House inspired from the 21054 but I gave up on skull island because I suck at building mountain facades and wouldn’t know how to do it, but with 71717 it could be a perfect island that lines up perfectly with the rest of the wooden boardwalks since it’s somewhat modular! Thanks again!

Omg, you just made realize that the Skull journey and dungeon sets orange tile work can be swapped out to blue and both can be the ultimate pirate hideout/modular inspired caverns that could be combined to 2015 pirate wave!!!! THANK YOUUU. But I agree, I just built the 21324 Medieval Blacksmith and that’s my recent castle themed set, but I decided to go back to the kingdoms set and literally duplicate another Tower Lookout set because I always wanted a second one just never pulled the trigger on it back then, the Medieval shop sparked the interest of my kids and were asking me if I had more castle themed sets to their delight I answered yes(I keep al my lego in storage due to space issues) and want to build more sets with me know! I can’t wait!!!

You know, for a rumored set that’s supposed to come out June 1st, it’s scary not seeing any more info from this, we have already getting leaks of the upcoming summer sets but the creator set 31120. LOL oh well

Ninja go is cool and all but still, pirates/castles set’s storytelling comes from the actual sets and not the characters, I’m talking about the king’s castle, the pirate ship, the imperial armada, the villagers, etc. Friends is the same way and that works for them sure, My daughter’s name is Olivia, therefore it makes sense to buy every Olivia themed set, I was at Legoland discovery center and saw the 4d ninjago movie, I’m sure everyone here’s seen it but the focus is on the ninjas and the elements they represent which is cool and all but that’s just superficial stuff, then you get a dungeon/castle dark ride where you save the princess and shoot elf’s, spiders and goblins, it’s a simple dark ride but the castle inspired themed is what sells me. It makes me wonder why Lego doesn’t release more historic themes, Harry Potter does an amazing job of doing this, you get the characters that are full of lore using the colossal backdrop of Hogwarts that could forever inspire sets for years to come. I was inspired by the 2015’s pirates wave of lego group trying to attempt this at least minimally, but they gave up on it of course, the potential would had monumental because I’m sure they could had added more ways of expanding the soldier’s fort and the pirates lair to make bigger sets and they heavily implemented this whenever they decided to completely change up the original Ideas set of the Pirate’s Bay to the Pirates of barracuda bay.... I would love to see like you mentioned the Harry Potter modular system of changing your rooms as you see fit, imagine trying to set up the hall to the library and the throne room or dungeon? As much as am I looking forward to the 31120, I’m also nervous to see it, 31109 only had 3 mini figures for that price but I get it the focus is just the bricks but in our case our last true castle sets were like 7 years ago, and the medieval blacksmith set only has 2 knights and 2 civilians so we will see, my expectations are super low so I wouldn’t be surprised but kind of goes to show up how we grew up, we invented character names and roles, now they got everything done for them and you can tell, before, all the sets had zero numberings, now they have it all evenly spread out haha
