Anyone attempted to try doing sails or printed stickers for flags on a cricut machine? I have a bunch of empty flags I got from lego I would try to print something on it. I'm confused on the whole deal but I know my girlfriend has a cricut and now I'm wondering if there's any templates for that matter. Thanks for your time and patience!

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Just type in a random set with minifigures and look for the design Number, a torso for example is 76382 type that in the item number or element ID box from there you will pull up every single torso ever sold in the B&P from there, you will see out of stock and what's in stock also, you can also sort them by color, making it easier to go right into the Dark Green Torsos! Clicking the picture of the item will give you a detailed information regarding the color and description. If you have a hard time finding something you can easily go back and forth between bricklink or brick owl for older parts or same pieces with different ID's because some lego bricks are in a totally different category for example a 1x2 brick, you can find all the solid colors for sure but the transparent 1x2 has a different design id all together. So to recap, the Element number is the specific piece you are looking for, like a white 1x2 brick, this is found in the back of manuals, the Design ID is the number of said brick or mold but it will show the entire catalog available in all colors. almost everything, some licensed pieces are off limits unless you request them via missing pieces or broken piece section. They are more lenient because they used to ask for the serial number off your manual but now they have a process where it automatically knows if your lying about it or not. You can get like maybe 1 licensed piece if you are lucky but if you were looking for them in Build a Minifigure good luck they are pre made in my store at the moment because of covid, I have to check and see what's up now but would be curious to see if they still sold them over there, but with that said though, Bricks and Pieces is completely different from Pick a Brick | LEGO Shop which is what they have on back walls at their stores and from what I can see you can buy some Mini figure parts as of now!!! -
Thank you so much, since I have no original plans I will change the towers completely, I just was not sure what I wanted to do other than to extend the pier with a mini fort or base, now that you mention it they do look repetitive, now I understand why both original sets have different styles!! Thank you! I used Pick and brick and went to town with their brick selection to make something out of both sets!!! I feel that all they need to do is open the sets in their museum and bam they can create molds all of a sudden hahaha

You are making me hope LEGO smartens up and does a POTC saga, now I want another Black Pearl and maybe with better building techniques as seen in the 21322. I just watched the first pirates of the Caribbean and currently playing TT games Lego POTC game haha

Could Lego "partially" melt if not used for a very long time?
eldiano replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
In my experience of collecting action figures especially Japanese die cast and regular figures from the 1980’s ABS has weakened colossally, for example a vintage figure from 1988 will be sturdier and last longer than the ones produced today, the biggest problem with action figures is joint breaking, they remade the figures using the same mold and the knees broke and warped easier than the old ones in less than a month. Nothing lasts forever but it’s been known Lego to have higher quality ABS than most. Something changed with regulations that made them change the ABS compound to last less, I’m guessing with the whole plastic environmental concerns but who knows. I just know in my experience heck even with NECA figures I can’t tell you how many pegs break just changing hands. Hence why I’m focused on LEGO the only toys that not only triple in value but also last longer than your regular usual toys. Some action figures are better off just being statues because broken pegs, joints and wrist pegs make them super fragile more than anything. -

My only problem with lego is humidity, the clear lego pieces have turn to ABS Yellow out. Easy fix but time consuming to say the least -

Thanks!!! I was paying attention to members here post about the torsos being in stock! Although I got lucky since I managed to snag a couple of helmets with them in an upcoming order also!! Don’t give up and religiously check the Bricks and Pieces everyday! It took about 20 days though for me Horses are back in stock including the helmets and Black Falcon shields for the time being! -
Brick Fanatics quoted LEGO as saying"Australia/New Zealand: 12am BSTEurope, Middle East and Africa: 9am BSTNorth America: 2pm BST im in CST and by 8:00 it still wasn’t on the website, but around 8:05am it finally popped up, it was nerve racking but didn’t know they sold out that fast! the other coins have a future chance of being attained due to Lego saying they will reissue them but the date is TBD like you I missed out on the first run but I had my eyes set on this one!

This is exactly why you can’t please everybody, the biggest backlash I have seen on Lego Social media account is not transphobes but not including disabled mini figs. Lego shot themselves on the foot with this set by saying “everyone” which of course made a lot of people feel left out, but this is exactly when things turn political. I mean granted disability is not only physical but still mental also they want “wheelchairs”

We know they can do it a POTC Saga collection if they deemed so, same thing with Indiana Jones I have a feeling they completely might take advantage of possibly the last movie in the series just for that reason to be honest!!! With that said though my Dream would be to own at least another copy of a Black Seas barracuda just because my original was left in another continent and had no way of thinking it would be big back in those days
-
😭 My biggest regret is underselling this set at the time, now I see the value of the ship and the Queen Anne’s Revenge pre owned and omggggg I’m pissed at my self for doing so, someone should had talked me out of doing it in the first place. It was a fun set, but the QAR was the best!!! Quite frankly I’m hoping with an upcoming POTC we can get our wish and have the TLG release a new version of the Black Pearl given how it was restored after Dead men tell no tales to be honest so you must understand my disappointment whenever all we got from that movie was just the Silent Mary… With that said though also regret not getting the entire POTC line up when I had the chance because I remember seeing them on the clearance aisles But I was like nawww I’m good I’ll get them later, little did I know that Lego Pricing on retired sets doubled if not triple afterwards hehehe. Back on topic I wish I can another shot at the original Black Seas barracuda, like I’ve been preaching up and down on these forums Lego would make bank re issuing older sets as they were considering how they have backups of them in their libraries… a feat not every toy maker or company does but who am I to complain to

Thank you managed to snag one!!!

My only question is why lego piece 3626(the mini head) on the bricks and pieces keep being out of stock from all colors, this set just might help me with that and those awesome hair pieces
-
I saw the light when I was 12 lolol. Looking back at some old catalogs is astonishing how many smaller sets I had but back then they felt huge. I wish Lego would re issue older sets the way they are not do remakes or reimagined versions for once, they could literally make bank on the older sets granted some molds don’t exist but my understanding is they literally have a museum and store every single LEGO set ever made so was the problem lolol Castle, Pirates and Space please!

I always loved the design and style of the White House, I managed to mail(at the time) former presidents about it and got different post cards directly from there also, I must have designed thousands of sketches of a version of a White House I would love to live in and did the math on how much it would to build a real one(after a Chinese Billionaire built an exact replica of it in China) so whenever LEGO made both sets of a White House with the 21006 and the 21054 of course I jumped at both releases to get one, I love the sets but always felt they were off in proportion and back in 2010 when the 21006 got released I bought 2 just to make an accurate at the time but it always felt off and incomplete. With the release of 21054 I completely fell in love with the new style and design and addition of the East and West wing but also the redesigns of the south and north porticos IMHO, granted it’s not perfect but beggars can’t be choosers and it’s an easy fix. The trees, bushes, I love it all so I took some ideas from 21054 and went back to 21006 to make some additions and touches, I got the order from Bricks and PIeces but I ran into a colossal road block that I didn’t see and was the fact that 21006 relies on hollow blocks than system blocks for the windows so I had to go back and change up how the windows looked, granted It’s a hit or miss for me but I ordered 2x1 bricks in trans brown for more of a see through design I think, please let me know what I can improve upon, this is somewhat the final version of it since I must had change it up like 5-6 times since the south portico wasn’t really trying to fit the way I wanted. I changed the north portico roof to match the overall color of the roof as an alternative look: Hope it’s up to your liking!

I must have done like 15 pick a bricks, one of them took 2 months, starting April this year turn around time as been now like 20 days literally. My April 27th order will get delivered on Monday for example. When i get the shipment notification (another member here stated that once it’s shipped from the website expect another week for it to arrive to your inbox depending on where you are at) -
Wait what? ANOTHER SET PUSHED BACK TO AUGUST!!! Lmao, Harry Potter for June for me I guess
-
Redbeard was determined to get the treasure!!! Hahaha You are right they needed more defences all that treasure could call out to more pirates ready to plunder the imperial treasury! We really don’t know how good we had it back then!!! I kinda of liked the soldier’s outpost, it might be chubby but that tower design stuck with me I guess, it’s a bricked out red and white design similar to the old sets but with a bigger window! I guess I used that inspiration for the rest of the MOD, the Imperial guards needed a hang out since there’s too many of them haha

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

My biggest order of Bricks and Pieces, lolol overall cheaper than BL, with shipping it would had been $200 more going that route!! https://imgur.com/PCRQW8F With that said though the weirdest thing just happened to me. I mentioned a while back that Lego Bricks and pieces does take a while but if you paid with Apple Pay the order authorization expires after a couple of days, so 22-25 days later whenever Lego told me my order was ready they told me they needed an alternative method of payment because of Apple Pay of course, the thing is on my end the order says it’s shipped and paid for. Lego was asking me to pay it so they can ship it. I thought nothing of it so I get this specific order with the aforementioned problem. Today I get another duplicate order of the same thing I already got before leading me to believe that Lego did ship 2 identical orders(order numbers are totally different of course). 4 orders had the same exact problem but this was the first one I received so now I have an extra set of Blue Falcon legs I don’t want haha -
I always felt underwhelmed combining both sets of 2015 Pirates wave, I ordered triple the amount of bricks in both sets and came up with this extended and longer fort. I tried keeping it in design as both Lego made sets but at the end of the day we have a prison and a treasure room. I only managed to assemble the walls and exterior but I need to furnish the interior for more day to day Imperial Activities, at first I only made 2 towers but felt the walkway was just empty so I added a third tower in the middle. Tell me what ya’ll think, In my honest opinion the Pirates will have a hard time getting the treasure and saving their pirates going forward. I make this with the intention of my kids playing it and portable so they can take it anywhere, basically I try to mimic how their sets would have looked like. I like making things as symmetrical as possible Different layouts: The soldiers fort! Let me know what I could improve upon and what would work best with this set! Thank you so much for time and patience!!

That’s amazing!! I was on the same boat you were, getting the pieces from Lego was cheaper than Bricklink once shipping is added on! I got lucky, I’m Currently working on expanding a soldiers fort from 2015 but my order came in -
Try to at least!! They won’t get the treasure easily!!! Thanks, it’s what made me mod the sets because the ninjago sets are more modular and meant to have different styles one could play with!! I made these with my kids in mind so they could have fun!!! The whole purpose is that you could move around the v shape island to either an extended coastline or just various islands, either way with mini cliff that’s setup as an extra hangout for the pirates while the closer you get to the treasure island the heavier defenses get! Pirates could also barricade behind the planks but i never knew i had the guts in my to set out something like this! As of this writing the Bricks and pieces colossal order just came in for my MOD Soldiers Outpost after nearly a month in waiting and I cannot wait! It will be similar to this but nothing fancy!!! The entire sets in all their glory
