  1. I do hope that LEGO goes forward with the retro reissues sets for being part of that rumored lego subscription program to be honest. It would put it over the top if there could be a continuation that way. I do know now that the line is completely dead, we have seen leaks and rumors of everything else but pirates and castle, damn not even the Viking ship is nowhere near any horizon as of yet. Lego clearly wants to pay licensing fees over going for something more in house… like A-View-To-Lego Mentioned for sure, the Barracuda Bay was their swan song and ultimate set that’s literally what lego is currently capable of for the time being. I Just hope they stick to their guns and let us purchase old sets, but what I wouldn’t do to see a huge imperial outpost or at least some kind of pirate or Spanish compound. Even if the remake the pirates of the Caribbean sets with the new movie later on would be beast…. I take it back we did get a Viking ship, but it’s a marvel set…
  2. At this rate a pirate pack would require a pirate ship set to go with it and so far nothing has been announced for this year, nothing as of yet dammit. This sucks.
  3. Nope, Pick a Brick sends it through ground mail from Europe to the US, Bricks and Pieces used to send it through DHL airmail to Newark then use regular USPS service which usually takes 2-3 days, My fastest turn around time from order to delivery at one point was a week, were Pick a Brick says it delivers faster but it takes about a month. I ordered once from both services at the same time at one point and I regretted it ever since, it was so bad my shipment got lost in the mail TWICE and had to order another round, even the lego clerk was like yeah sorry on their end it shows it never got stateside but I swear, I managed to get that package two months later, while everything from Bricks and pieces arrived in no less than two weeks. I’ve sworn off Pick a brick ever since then unless a brick was not in stock at bricks and pieces.
  4. In my experience Pick a Brick took forever to deliver while Bricks and Pieces took usually a week to deliver, i always found it funny how same parts were in stock and out of stock there because of services, so it makes me wonder what will come out from this, I’m cautious since they were good and bad things from each service in the past. Especially the fact that you could order directly from older kits that gave you the new part number in use
  5. Makes me wonder if they would reissue the ten year old sets, my biggest mistake was selling the Queen Anne’s Revenge and Black pearl!!!
  6. My Dude honestly, I feel that Hey if Lego dips into their older catalog and like you mentioned “older” sets we should be in luck I think, just like how they fixed the Reddish Brown fragility that plagued a lot of sets the last decade I honestly feel confident that we will legit get the new improved bricks and not just rehashes of the old ones. They probably would use the mold anyways with the new brick techniques with that said I’m dreaming of buying Pirates/Castle/Space/creator sets, I missed out on a lot of key lines because I didn’t have the means to but for sure I would love to get my hands on an El Dorado or Black Seas Barracuda, wouldn’t mind the old packaging or new packaging style as long as I get the same bricks. All I wish for is to pay retail for older Lego Sets, something Lego never retro dips into all things considered, especially since they never believed in re-issues of box per pricks old sets I guess. I feel that this is going to be revolutionary. If they green lit this though this might hurt pop and mom shops or bricklink since I feel that LEGO will be busy processing used bricks I guess.
  7. All right I just finished the entire survey after reading and speculating online. I feel that the buy sets from the catalog will be limited to classic Lego and non licensed after the fact. I also realized that we could return used lego bricks for points or Lego online credit which is not that bad all things considered. They currently offer some of these perks for free but I am sucker of buying older sets at retail price from Lego so it will be interesting to see how much we can give in return to them also. I purchased a ton of Pick a Bricks so wouldn’t mind getting to buy more from that I guess.
  8. How far back would they go back on their Catalogues? It would be the perfect chance for me to complete entire retro lines such as Castle and Pirates OMG a dream come true, sign me up seriously
  9. They took it down because of the Holidays, all my stores have the big expensive sets over $200 usd so it wouldn’t had been worth it to be honest
  10. Don’t forget the Space Puzzle hahaha
  11. I severely hope you are correct. because then we would only be at the mercy of Bionicle and wandering what else could had been the other sets to be honest!
  12. Omgggg, 780 pieces? For 119.99, i think it is licensed noooo
  13. Well the moon base is actually inspired from a real life NASA Mars space base concept if that tells you anything
  14. So the Space sets for City although inspiring are nowhere near “classic”. I love the lunar base more than anything it reminds me of a lil’ playmates space set I had growing up but lolol oh well
  15. Let’s hope for more seagulls!! Would fit perfectly with some pirate sets. Anyone tried to use the Waterfall playset from the Monkie kid sets? I’m interested in upgrading my pirate hideout!
  16. Well, R.I.P nice knowing you amazing Castle Line!!! 😭 /s
  17. So, what was the big reveal of the 90th anniversary for a classic line from the TLG? My indications were complete being “Space” since I gave up on ever seeing Castle or Pirate sets. Are they merging City + Space now? So confused, all I see are just these lines for Winter 2022 already announced but nothing classic
  18. That’s exactly what came to mind i kind love the roof tile and work done it and it screams Cuba to me too!
  19. Currently Looking at the Disney Encanto Caribbean themed sets like 😍😍
  20. nothing so far, probably won’t happen since we are two months out before the end of the year and we would had found out by now!
  21. What I hate about the Creator 3 in 1 sets is the lack of mini figures, 99.99 for only 3 when they used to give us like 6-8 for that price point back then and the overuse of the small pieces to make up a higher count I guess.
  22. I agree, especially when you compare lines such as GhostBusters and back to the future side to side!!! They only milked the Firehouse and vehicles but Playmobil although has both and then some literally feature more accessories, furniture, more play features, lights sounds and cheaper than Lego I think.
  23. Oh look the introduction of the white brick, many were expecting to be in the Peach Castle 🤣
  24. All it is, is Lego telling fans, “Sorry your princess is in another castle!”
  25. I think it’s funny everyone was expecting a full sized peach castle, but we got one on micro scale 🤣🤣 I saw the question mark also and was like wtf but funnily enough it’s a decent set, I like the Mario 64 references but that question mark though lol
