    Managed to snag Two today, did not know it had teenage legs, nice extra parts though! I’m loving the gold visor and swords, i love that dragon helmet, it would be a nice statue I think! I took down my castle but my pick A brick orders are coming in faster than expected, now im motivated to see what can build out of it! I was going through 7947 and i noticed PAB is flooded with old school parts in stock especially stock and now my imagination is running wild with ideas, im stuck with kingdoms and this set expansions now

    Anyone got a go at CMF 23 female knight? I’m going to need a few gold visors, hehehe I’m stocking up on horses now that brick and pieces brought back the reddish brown horse i missed back then but i’m hoping to see the load out ratio of that figure which is the only one that I legit want!!!!

    You know I was thinking the same thing, I haven’t bought the Viking set because it’s still somewhat off to me, but when it’s all said and done it still looks completely simple compared to the other ships, i’m wondering where 1,100 something bricks went into that ship to be honest!

    If you have an apple device with privacy features all the on, shop.lego.com will always place you somewhere around the world, I forgot to manually move my location back to the US so i of course started to place an order in PAB, a huge one, I was happy because parts were in stock left and right and I couldn’t check out and apply my VIP discount, tooK me a good 20 minutes to realize that my site was set to Australia, it was interesting to see what bricks differ between bestsellers/standards in the US but I was having a heart attack when that shopping cart was already at 50usd for only 150 bricks, soooooo just FYI if this happens to you and your are deep into your shopping, the cart does not transfer over and you need to start from scratch but when it’s all said and done I was more than excited and down because although some bricks were out of stock in the US page everything or almost everything was already close to 25usd thanks to the majority of the bricks being best sellers, etc! This was on the PAB dedicated page of course

    I don’t know if you guys have paid any attention but granted no big key new pieces have been added BUT they have legit started to fill and restock bricks that been out of order for a long while, I’m talking pirates, knights, cmf’s parts, let’s just say it’s Christmas early and have been placing huge orders since I have seeen almost everything in stock mind you I have seen a few new bricks from 2022 but not that much

    Speaking of which, I just bought more right now because they are stock and even with the black helmets and i do mean get them now because it’s rare seen leg, torsos, helmets, swords and shields in stock at the same time! To be fair i only have bought like 4 lego sets this year though haha. It used to be like 25 last year and double the year before. Hey so I just literally saw LEGO being sneaky with choosing which bricks are bestsellers or not, earlier on my phone i had 114 bricks in my cart and when i used my ipad just now to see if the bricks were available to stack orders i realized that the same amount of 114 bricks was 45 dollars instead of the 32.24 I was getting quoted on the iphone, I legit did a side by side comparison and discrepancies like Cross bow was a best seller on my iphone but not on my ipad, as a matter of fact the only pieces that were best sellers were those angled bow pieces that i bought for extra out of the 25 my cart was showing me… I snapshot both devices just to compare but I swear good thing I did a double take.

    It was cheap to be honest, people like myself caught on that it was completely cheaper to build mini figure army’s better than buying them used at local lego stores I guess. When you buy a complete Minifigure on brick link they want like 15 usd on average just for one but directly from BnP’s at the time i could get 5 torsos, 5 legs, 5 heads, 5 helmets pieces for 15usd. It’s not that we have deeper pockets but indeed it was cheaper, I’m not greedy though i just want like 10-20 figures max, i managed to add more additional pirates and knights, weapons, you name it, it was easy. I did end up buying extra sea life animals and horses that I probably would never need. To be honest it’s cheaper to directly buy from lego and they know it. One time a local third party lego retailer quoted me $475 for used bricks I need for an MOC and almost jumped on it but then I checked out bricklink for the same ones and they wanted $250 but what sealed the deal for me was shop.lego.com in the end, I paid $161.00 plus 20 dollars in shipping for the same amount of bricks they wanted 475 at a local store. Who’s ever is in charge of lego is actually doing turning me away from the hobby, i legit hate the fact that for example I buy every single Harry Potter set when released and they have the balls to release Harry Potter exclusive GWP two months later and now i missed out on the stairs and the gryffindor common room and we can all agree that they could had easily sold the Forestmen hideout than hide it behind a 150$ GWP. I know I’m rambling but now that I think about I’m questioning now why that’s happening with the forestmen also, i got lucky my sister in NY bought some sets and got one for free and because she loves me soooo much she sent it to me for free hahaha.

    It baffles me because I agree they sold black falcons by the dozens, hell I personally have like 30 and now i have no one to fight them with and all of a sudden they became allies with the Lion knights over night? Haha But seriously though they know the falcons as Minifigures sold well but it makes financial sense for them to find another way to sell us more figures at a jacked up price per figure of course which seems it was the case for this castle in the first place. I wish we got a chess set with those prints but i doubt it. What I mean is that for example Jazzwares released this month a new homage toy line up to old Galoob Star Wars Action fleet called Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron, same concept, they sell you figures and vehicles, but one thing that irked is the way they are making us do army building with stormtroopers. A vehicle called the stormtrooper carrier seen in the mandalorian only comes with TWO stormtroopers at a whopping price of 22.96. So if you want more you need to drop more money on another set a developer of the toy line also confirmed on reddit that they don’t plan to do figure battle packs as they did with the old school action fleet in the past making the only way to build an army of stormtroopers is to buy those carriers in the first place. lego is going Towards this route, they would rather sell you one figure at double the price on a higher price set than let you buy like 10 for 20 bucks I guess, it makes no sense but I hope you guys make me eat my words in the next four months because it’s been rumored that LEGO will add the 2022 bricks from February until June around October and then later on this year of course the later releases so FINGERS CROSSED

    Hahaha I did the same thing and now want to build it again, when I take them apart I combine two bags into one making it more difficult for me. imagine dumping 4,500 lego pieces into the table just for a challenge? Nope haha glad lego does not that do anymore! With my luck lego will release this but with the new boxed design hahaha, fml

    You have to remember that celebrating 90 years can take them an entire year and they will probably squeeze other lines in between therefore probably making other exclusives, it may be that the castle is the first wave and who knows if bionicle or others follow suit, 🤷 im just being hopeful

    We had this argument before on the pirates forum 🤣🤣 kids hardly play with lego anymore and on top of it all fantasy sets don’t sell that well enough like ninjago sets to warrant waves, licensed sets bring more money for Lego and that’s all they care about, you know it’s bad when 400-500 are sold for 90-100$ usd 😭😭 yeah we grew up with castle, pirates, space but I can’t get my kids into those lines no matter how much I tried, they would ask me for marvel, Star Wars, friends or mario sets over the others 🤣. I cherish these releases and I don’t care how bad they look, it’s a rarity in the first place and I jump on these the first chance I get.

    Last year every single lego set released was available from bricks and pieces right off the bat. ever since they revamped bricks and pieces and pick a brick early this year none of the new sets with new parts introduced this year have been available for purchase, I talked to customer service about this and they say it’s a delay and that it will be in the future but this is a huge frustration from the lego bricks and pieces crowd also 😭 That icons excuse is BS.

    The walkway could be covered as a makeshift extra room full of armors and add another tower around the residential area really, I plan to expand the gatehouse/armory deeper, to be honest that toilet room inspired to enlarge it into a throne room, this set really suffers from narrow towers even my 9 year and 6 year old kids had a hard time playing in between the rooms and right spaces 😎 thhe castle is perfect the way it is but it always could feature room for expansion 😉

    The walkways and armory section could had been converted to a throne room, as a matter of fact you could extend the castle starting from the residential area, I want another castle set but I’m in no hurry yet

    Where did you get that wizard hat? I have the same setup but the hat that comes with the Pick a Minifigure selection has the grey hair molded with it!

    The drawbridge is more fun when you realize you could use it to send the enemy straight to the dungeon haha it’s a play feature that’s not heavily advertised heh
