  1. Welcome to the guilds @skitkid! Excellent sig-fig and backstory Looking forward to Amalthea's adventures.
  2. Thanks a ton Titus! I don't normally get to use red and orange colors so I'm glad to hear I found a good balance in this build. And glad to be back building for the Guilds as well Thank you Garmadon for the kind comment! I tried my best to capture that dark-lands look of Nocturnus, so happy to know the red and orange did the trick. Thanks a bunch guys for the kind feedback, I really appreciate it!
  3. Hey guys, finally got around to building something for the guilds introducing my new sig-fig.
  4. Ch. 2 - Growing Threats It was a cold night, the kind thats perfect for a burning hearth and warm food. But Aravorn had neither. For he had been traveling along side the Rakath Mountains for three days, which was no easy task, especially by Nocturnian Standards. Had Aravorn been a lesser Ranger, he might not have survived. And even so it would not have stopped him, for he had not been wandering aimlessly. "The great halls of Erendir. A once glistening kingdom of shining knights and glory. Now just crumbling ruins", Aravorn thought to himself. Over time, Erendir had become children stories told for generations, tales that Aravorn knew well. "The irony still stings doesn't it father. To think we would end the same", Aravorn continued as he quietly reminisced in the still silence. Until he heard a large gathering of footsteps. "You look lost stranger hehe" The pack of Orc's chuckled as they revealed themselves from amidst the ruins. "This is not a safe place to be, especially for a human. Especially for a human alone." The orc's began to slowly move in closer, surrounding Aravorn. "I was looking for someone actually. Perhaps you can help me. They were a couple of Orc's. About your height and weight. Smelled just as bad too", he remarked as he noticed one of the Orcs tightening his grip around his ax. "Oh we can help you traveler hehe. In fact, I think they might be closer than you think argh!" The Orc lunged himself towards Aravorn. But Aravorn was already much too prepared. He quickly drew his great sword and blocked the orc's ax and so suddenly that it ricocheted off his blade. And in that split moment, Aravorn swiftly sliced the orc's head from his shoulders. "That swordsmanship. He's no traveler, Its a ranger!" The Orc shouted. "What's a ranger doing he!?", but before he could finish, Aravorn struck down the surrounding Orcs, making quick work of the pack. He was tempted to finish them off at once, but he needed answers and so killed all but one. "W-wait! Please, spare me oh wise and noble young master. I am but a lowly humble orc." The Orc groveled. But Aravorn knew better than to trust an Orc's pleas. "A lowly humble Orc? Do not test me. I know who you are, Thruk the Fiendish. You are no feeble creature", he remarked as he pressed his sword against the Orc's neck. "During the war, you served the Black Spire. You served the one named Lord Osiris. Tell me where he is or I will slay you here and now", Aravorn threatened. "I-I don't know! We never met him", Thruk cried out. "Do not lie to me", he replied, restraining himself from stabbing the Orc. "N-no it's true! We only knew him by name. We were recruited by one of his emissaries. Pharan, I-I think was his name. He was in charge of guarding supply routes through the Siccus Badlands. Maybe you'll find Osiris there". The sword grew dangerously closer, choking the already struggling to breathe Orc. "I-I swear t-that's a-all I k-know." Aravorn could not find himself to trust in Thruk but he was desperate for a lead. if he ever had a chance of finding Osiris, he was going to have to find Pharan first, or so he thought. Thruk, however, had now outlived his use. "I'll send him your regards". He finished off the Orc in a swift strike, granting Thruk his relief. "The Siccus Badlands", he said unto himself, looking over to the now dawning horizon. "I'm going to need a horse". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey guys, I finally got around to building something for Nocturnus. I decided to start off with a new sig-fig(Aravorn) and make my old sig-fig(Lord Osiris) the villain. As for the build, I took a bit of freedom from the traditional look of Castle ruins and experimented with a more blocky style of stonework. Overall, a small simple build and not my best work but I thought it made a decent introduction for my character. So tell me what you guys think and thanks for viewing Also, credit to 11inthewoods for the torso and leg combo on Aravorn.
  5. Splendid work man! Very aesthetically pleasing scene and captures the desert/Egyptian look excellently I agree the dark and sand orange pillar bits is a nice touch as well as the blue lining on the floor and tomb. Also, clever usage of the dome piece. All around, great stuff.
  6. Must echo everyone else, that crystal fits in there perfectly! Very nicely designed well and aesthetically pleasing too. Also, the surrounding terrain is well layered. Looking forward to the next chapter.
  7. Great narrative as always and the well done on the figures and build, definitely looks very Star Wars-y!
  8. Welcome new members! Also, any news on when the next episode will begin?
  9. Neat corridor build and it looks like a new(?) character has been added to your story. I like the two action shots and the grate pieces are a nice touch, especially from the front-view angle.
  10. Awesome work! I really like this build, especially the cell doors design and the way they protrude. Also enjoyed reading the chapter and the whole prison break/heist vibe with the unique team members. Well done.
  11. Definitely a fun episode with lots of great entries. Congrats to Commander Beltar and Cody Startale! Would also like to see more cross-contests, here and in other RPGs.
  12. This was downright awesome; so much SW goodness! The video set the scene perfectly. The photography in these shots is top-notch with the mix of micro and minifig-scaled models. Also great work on the micro-ships, especially loving the Star-destroyer and Outrider. All around, great entry.
  13. Really outstanding build! Loving the scale of the entire pipe and the sewage water. Not to mention the other pipes and platform. Fantastic stuff man
  14. Really is an incredible ship! The fact that its modeled after a micro build and captured perfectly in minifig-scale makes this that much more amazing. Well done
  15. When I was assigned my first mission as ISB, I didn't imagine I would be on another rahtar chase after the Black Sun Syndicate. To think It wasn't too long ago that I was hunting Xizor's spies back on Tatooine with Ulric's unit. Except this time was different. We weren't on some outer rim planet and the target wasn't some petty traitor. This time, the mark was no other than Prince Xizor. Apparently he's been biting off more than he can chew. I wasn't given the details, but ISB wanted him captured at all costs. Several teams of storm commandos were dispatched to push through Xizor's palace. But as it turns out, we weren't the only ones. The rebels had a mission of their own at the palace. Given the circumstances, we weren't allowed to fire on any rebel forces. The mercenaries, however, was a different story. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys, back with a bit of a rushed/quick build for this challenge(ran out of time but I figured somethings better than nothing, right). I took a bit of creative freedom and modeled Xizor's palace after Tatooine architecture. Since Xizor always reminded me of Djinns, I thought Tatooine's middle-eastern-like design fit his character's look. Hope you guys like it, tell me what you think and thanks for viewing!
  16. Fantastic scene! You definitely captured the Rebel base look with the control panel area and even made a very fitting nice addition. I also like the Freemakers cameo, makes the story feel connected with the SW universe.
  17. Splendid scene and layout! Definitely captures that Coruscant/Imperial hallway look. I especially like the slanted wall and the dining room is impressively well done. Most excellent work indeed.
  18. Impressive Black Sun entry! The build looks great, big and detailed. I like all the various sewage tanks and sewage water(and is that a Dianoga monster I spot, very nice touch). The rock-work is also especially well done. All around, great stuff.
  19. Great story thus far indeed The build looks great as well. I'm especially liking the largest tree, lots of vegetation and the mushrooms are a nice touch. Also liking the rock formations, I feel the clean uniform look is a nice contrast to the rubble-look of the terrain and shrubbery. All around, great stuff here, can't wait to see more of Laesonar's travels.
  20. Wow you're fast; excellent looking build and mission log! Great cinematic shot and I like the floor details, especially the square creases. Also, the red and greeble bits are a nice touch.
  21. Welcome to SoNE Evolved Turtle! Glad to have you aboard the winning team.
  22. Hyped for this challenge also! I like how its incorporating other EB members; can't wait to see the turn-out. I believe it is referring to the space Battle over Coruscant: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_over_Coruscant Essentially, I think its participating in the space fight at the skyhook battle station (correct if I'm wrong though).
  23. Welcome to SoNE! Most excellent first freebuild Way to capture the Sullust look; I especially like the support beams and bridge. Great looking sig-fig also.
