Wow, this is great. The building itself is beautiful, but what you did with the inerior is absolutely stunning. All those details! Not to mention the building techniques used. Wow!

MOC: Stockholm Metro - Medborgarplatsen
Man with a hat replied to Skrytsson's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Very nice. Those escalators are perfect! Also the dustbins are great, simple but effective. I must only say that I like the old metro better than the old one. The windows may be more accurate on the new one, but somehow they don't look that good. -
Canal Street Houses - Modular Building
Man with a hat replied to brickcitydepot's topic in LEGO Town
Again a wonderful creation. And instantly recognisable. Especially the brown building is amazing especially since you also managed to squeeze the interior in it as well. And I must say that those interiors are beautiful. -
MOC: 7 Wide CN Super Continental Passenger Car
Man with a hat replied to markg's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great car. I love 7 wide cars and this one looks really nice. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that is seems that the windows are relatively high which makes the lower white half slightly ackward. But I may be biased after seeing that HO model. -
This is unbelievable. It is huge and has a lot of details. I don't think I have seen them all yet. But the handcuffs for scales are perfect. It makes the building recognisable as a courthouse. And in the interior the lift and those hexagonal floor patterns: Amazing! Ok, now I need some more time to see it all.

I can't believe it. This looks awesome. All those different style buildings but still belonging together perfectly! Especially the palace is great with those round towers.
-
How did you do that? I can't believe it. It is simply perfect. Those are some nifty tricks you used!

Wow, those sets look great. The car park itself may not be that special but it certainly has some interesting vehicles, like the (VW?) van. Als the car with glider is unbelievable. I can't wait to get that one!

Corner Shop & Apartments - Modular Building
Man with a hat replied to brickcitydepot's topic in LEGO Town
Great work again! Absolutely stunning. And good job on those typical small street poles. That really adds to the reality and recogizabilty of the location of the building. -
Finally the official pictures. And it still looks great! I like the choice for making it bigger than the other modulars, a town hall has to have some stature. I Admit the gap for the elevator in the back is slightly anoying, but my modulars are all against a wall so it will absolutely not bother me . The biggest surprise here was that Jamie Berard is not the main designer . And BTW, I think this is the first modular with specific printing designs: Bride torso, shield and clock. And they are great!

Very nice! The big sign looks great. Something different, but I like it. And the roof part works great as well with those windows and tiny balconies. The only thing that's bothering me is the medium blue line on the first floor. Somehow it doesn't work for me. It is good to have all the white compensated, but I don't think it's the right colour.

Layout WIP: I've finally started a real layout!
Man with a hat replied to kyphur's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow, those are a lot of baseplates. I really like that you wil use baseplates for the entire layout. That is something I would do as well. I am regularly picking up a baseplate to add to my collection, but I can only be jealous at your massive amount of not only baseplates but space as well. -
I was just wondering. I really would like to get my hands on this as soon as it gets out. However, I am worried about the mistake in the instructions. I now, it can easily solved by oneself, but i'd rather have the good set of instructions. Do you think LEGO would do something about this soon, with an erratum or with new instructions?

LDD 4.2.5 is out
Man with a hat replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Whoohoo! Now my Emerald night is finished. Yes, the small trains were already gone in the previous update. But now you can actually put them on the tracks. I am happy -
Finally the pictures. I must say that I hoped for a 48-wide building, but this is still great. And it seems that the interior is the best so far.
-
Wow, this is unbelievable. It's a perfect scene. I really love the whole layout of the project. Everything interesting is there. Can't wait to see it finished completely.
-
Wow, very impressive. I can't believe you managed to put the PF and batteries in there and still keep al the details.
-
Wow. That's a great design.

Christmas Train: Twas the MOC Before Christmas
Man with a hat replied to SavaTheAggie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
So very nice. I recognized a couple of classic LEGO trains and then I saw you also put in small version of your own MOCs. That's great. -
That's a massive train. But it turned out great. Nice design with those curved tops. I also see you used the expensive "Design by Me" option. I am amazed you managed to do that. When I design something I alway need the extended mode and then rely on Bricklink.

REVIEW: 8827 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6
Man with a hat replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Another great review of another great series. Thanks. I can't wait to get them myself. They are all great but I realy like that butcher. -
Simple but brilliant!

To me those sets look great. I have been waiting for the hospital ever since I got 6380(Not counting 7892, that one was horrible). But I am a little bit dissapointed that it has no baseplate and also the ambulance looks a bit small. But overall the design is great!
-
That's nice. It is a really good representation of the original and I like those colours.

Nice antlers!
