  1. Wow, this is great. The facade is fantastic. I like it and the combination of red and tan works great here. And there are some nice techniques used. Also the interior is great. There are so many good ideas there; the lamp/fan, the couch, the whole kitchen of course. Basically everything.
  2. That's some great progress you're showing. I like the way your car turned out. But most of all I like the hoist you made. That looks great. I don't think I have seen something like that this good. And apart from the spare parts person and mechanic I think you need at least one salesman, in a nice suit of course, and maybe a secretary to do all the paper work?
  3. Great Modular! The front facade is awesome. But most of all I like the barber shop. It is perferct.
  4. This is great. I really like the first floor with the large window and the stairs to the recessed door so typical of so many buildings.
  5. Wow, amazing how much detail you got in such a small building. I didn't know you could get so much interior in such limited space. Apart from that I really like the back side of your building with the stairs to the entrance. Well done!
  6. This is really well done. This would fit perfectly in any LEGO city.
  7. Wow, this is even better than the previous version. And I am amazed how much detail you got in the interior in such a limited space.
  8. I love this. I can't wait to get one! Amazing to see two complete buildings with interiors and some really interesting techniques. I like the toilet of course as well as the spiral staircase. But apart from these I think I like the small garden in front of the residential house the most. It really suits the house. And of course these houses will fit really nice between my other modular buildings. Thank you Jamie Berard!
  9. This is a great review. You managed to capture and point out the best and not so good things of this set. I am still hesistant about the lack of a baseplate. Maybe that just needs getting used too. And I also find that in general it doesn't have the looks the previous creator houses had. But I will get it anyway as my town needs housing and this is still a good house.
  10. Yes, finally some pictures. I like it. I am amazed at what could be done making two houses and still keeping the number of parts reasonable. There are still some nice details there as well. And I like the green bike (I was worried we would get another skate-board...). Ok, I need some time to process this, and to find out when I can get it as soon as possible.
  11. 3/ Ignacia Village by quy - 1 point 13/ Attack on the Nile by Yatkuu - 4 points 19/ Spinjitsu Training Temple by Cecilie - 1 point 29/ The Jellyfish Cafe by gabe - 1 point It was a though one. But I must say that to me one really stood out as a set which was original and would be a great addition to the theme.
  12. Just went through my box of series 4. And also only 2 scientists unfortunately . But no more than 5 of the other minifigs. Of course I had to get more scientists and also wanted an extra musketeer. The shop I first went through had two boxes open that looked at almost full. But when I went through them I could find my scientist, but not the musketeer. Someone must have been there before me. Luckily at another store I could find one. I tried using the dots at first using the dots I saw on my own packages and those published. But that didn't work out well. It seems that there are too many different batches that each have there own codes. But the feel method did work remarkably well.
  13. Wow, great showroom. The windows really make it perfect as others have mentioned before. I also like the area outside. It is very realistic. And since you asked: I think the supercab pickup would be great to see in the used cars area. I am looking forward to see it finished.
  14. That's a nice little tyre dealer. I like it. Are you going to put in a garage lift or jacks? I guess you need some tools to change the tyres as well.
  15. Thank you for your answer. I guess I will have to keep using color 297 then for the time being.
  16. Magnificent techniques. Simply unbelievable. I cannot wait to see the finished Opera House.
  17. I tried to get colour 299 to work in LDD. However I came up with a transparant looking brick, although LDD identifies it as: color: - 299 Lacqured Gold/Warm Gold. How? Well, I got a file with a random brick. Unzipped the file and modified the LXFML file by changing the colour number like this: materials="299". What did I do wrong?
  18. This is very useful. I like it. It definitely removes some uncertainties about those difficult metallic colours. Thanks a lot Superkalle!
  19. Did you modify the correct preferences.ini? I first went to change C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\preferences.ini instead of C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\preferences.ini And obviously that doesnot work. I realized my mistake when I actually read the file path.
  20. I think it is a typo. I just checked and it is 310 metalized gold. But I feel it may also correspond to bricklinks' Metallic Gold. But please correct me if I am wrong. Apart from this I just noticed that the part # 52036 plate 4x12 w.bottom 2x4x2/3 now can fit part # 4079 seat 2x2x2. That means my 8402 sports car is now complete in LDD!
  21. Thanks Superkalle! Followed the instructions and it works flawlessly.
  22. This is impressive. Simple beautiful with great scenery. I especially like the lower part of the windmill with the water mill pumping water.
  23. Wow, this is nice. A lot of nice details. I like the bars in front of the windows. And the nice detailing between the floors. Perfect. This is simple stunning.
  24. Wow, that looks great. I like that they included a minifigure like the in the log cabin set. Also the solar panels to me seem really nice. I think they are a lot better than the ones in 8403 (or maybe that is because I do not like stickers ). However it seems that there is no baseplate but just the regular plates. I am not convinced that that is good. And also the dog... I think a white version of the new shepherd dog would have been better. Ok, that's enough negativism. All in all I really like this set and am sure I will get at least one.
  25. I also just did the survey and agree that it is very short indeed. Hard to guess what information they are really after. To me the survey seems a bit limited to get proper information out of. But then again I am not the one needing the information.
