    Nice build, but i may be able to help you on your problems. Are your 1x2 plates new or old? I've found that older plates have a tendency to warp the rest of the build. As for the base plate, I've never experienced warping there.

    Poe's X-wing, parts of the new Resistance X-wing, and Rey's speeder have good choices fo color like maroon, black, orange, and blue.

    I haven't done it, but you would need to make the wings longer and maybe change the color scheme a bit, also mess with the slant shape of the wings.

    Nice MOC! This speeder has a lot more detail than the actual set, and I would rather buy this instead of what TLG gave us.
