Happy Birthday Siegfried! Blue Bucket Cake
-
Again, technically both are correct. In a circus, you travel a lot. or: You travel a lot, in a circus. (I pretty sure there should be commas.) Equally the same with the second phrase. Being "in" or "with" a circus is the same as being "in" or "with" any group. Overall, I'd personally choose the first phrase ("in") as a more natural way of saying it.

It's really impressive to start off this MOC from memory, and even the first picture was reminiscent to me of the Lovegood home. I know it'll get more and more interesting as you rework it to what you want, and add in the details you plan. Plus I'm impressed at how clean your bath is!

Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives - The Conclusion
Pandora replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
For completeness, here's my character bio: So Police Chief Brody, with whom I am supposed to "have as little interaction with as possible" is one of the two people I spend the most time talking to, and explains (partly) why I didn't ever quote WD or respond directly to any of his posts in thread. And the loving family, my mother and brother whom I wish to protect "at any cost"??? Scuuuuuummmmm!!!!! Really, really happy about the gun, though. -
Today feels like a Florence day. We will sing this loudly in the car on the way to the LEGO store. "and I never wanted anything from you, except everything you had and what was left after that, too." Gotta love Flozza.

Interesting stuff, thanks. And we have you to blame for losing our doctor and everyone dying! (possibly) -

I noticed the lovers issue early on, I'm just curious, could we hear more about the "two strange conundrums"? Please? -
EB 2011 Windsor Event: Program and information

I'm also around on Wednesday, and I need to pop into town next week anyway (I'm about 40-45mins out from the centre by tube). I'd be glad to join for coffee or other plans. For the sake of everyone's sanity, I recommend browsing the Transport For London website, as it has info on engineering works and planned closures (for instance the lack of Northern Line at Tottenham Court Road for the foreseeable future). It should be updated daily, and it's rare for there to be absolutely no problems with the tube, plus there's info on there about Oyster cards (as mentioned by Peppermint) as they might save a bit of money. Once again, mobile number available on request. -

I get it. Just because you're cute now, doesn't mean I won't shoot you again. -

Holy moly Fuzzy!!??! You knew MacK was mafia at the beginning of Day 4??!! I'm going to assume you were trying to confirm town, as everyone at each point looked quite Townie, but you actually investigated two mafia, and investigating Alopex on night one and him being revealed as mafia Day 3 would have suggested you weren't paranoid. I guess there's more that went on in PM that I obviously don't know, but I'm left wondering why MacK survived after being investigated and found scum? -
Both! We'll "borrow" one of the LEGO Driving School cars for you to pootle around in all day!

Well after Betsy the Angry Bunny, there's not much left to say, but here are a few observations from my short life and long afterlife Yay Town!! And well played Donut! You had struck me as Town from the beginning and I would have been in contact with you had I lived longer. You did well to keep the game going and stayed clear-headed to the end. Equally well played MacK! I also didn't get the opportunity to appraise your allegiance privately, but you made good and logical points in the thread, even if they were in retrospect deliberately misleading. I feel your frustration at being the last scum standing, but it will serve you well in future games. Very impressive. Alopex - your "reason" for killing me made me doubly glad I killed you It's been a long time coming, but I'm sorry I killed you, King of the Zempk. There was all sorts going on at the time, and when I looked through all the posts you seemed the best bet. Sorry. WD and Betsy. You made the game even more vivid and I thoroughly enjoyed our group discussions. I trusted you both (and I'm glad I did) and I'm also glad you trusted me (eventually). It was a weird situation having three conversations with two people, but I also believe that was vital to ensure trust. I so wanted to tell you I was the Vigilante, but it was revealed pretty quickly anyway, but WD you even kept mentioning you'd lost your gun and didn't have it anymore. The show you guys put on was heart-breaking to read, but garnered an audible cheer from me when the ruse was revealed! It was only at that point that I remembered Betsy had suggested something very similar at the beginning of Day 2. Brilliant sting! Specifically to Betsy, I have had so much fun in the Dead Furries Lounge, and it's been like playing without playing but with perhaps more honest opinions . Aside from that, you are also a great player who makes astute observations and logical connections. I really hope to play another game with you sometime (although you'll probably end up killing me or something). Thanks once again to Hinckley for a brilliant game with hilarious yet action packed narrative, and an interesting mix of roles for us to get our teeth into. Also thanks to Badboy who was evidently keep to help students out with information, and probably ended up seeing a whole lot of weirdness. As I'm not very vital anymore, bein' dead an'all, can I have a sausage instead? -
Oh, I temporarily forgot about this thread. There's definitely one in 4644 LEGO City Marina! (Shameless, I know! )

It's a curious coincidence that the remaining four are two married couples How odd. -
Thank you for your compliments Roodaksta, and I'm really glad you enjoyed building the set. I can see the association you make Invader Zim, but unfortunately that's really from pictures and films, having not been to California myself. It's odd, but I don't find this set particularly Summery; something such as an added ice-cream cart would have helped set the season, but I guess it's only approaching Summer in half the world. Thank you for your comments and compliments Gregorovich, no offence taken re: my sig-fig - she's quite happy with a common face, however the female minifig may have been more interesting for some if she were wearing a swimsuit! Thanks Rick! I didn't have 6543, but it does look a lot sturdier and seems to have more detail. It's quite probable that I would have been more disappointed with this set had I owned 6543, so fortunately for me it ends up being a minor disappointment. And thank you for blogging, I'm really chuffed!

I've been vacillating over this for a while. The only real reason I've had to not to ask to join was the time required to dedicate to the process. I've thought about it and I'd love to do some more reviews, and I'd really love to learn from the best. So I'd love to join, if you'll have me, and I'd love to learn your skills and knowledge. (a whole lot of love! ) Just keep that Rufus weirdo away from me

Welcome, your intro isn't waffly at all! Good luck with the house buying, and don't forget to show us pictures when you've built your MOC.

Tracking Hunter Horse's movements through all the pictures is hilarious. I rather like the random fishing, but the pot & maracas is comic gold. -
Thank you very much Kiel Thanks minifig_gal, I hope you enjoyed building it, too. It must be handy (but expensive) to have a TRU so close. Thank you Big Cam, I'm flattered. I might just stop by! Thank you LEGO AFOL! Thank you ETAV8R, and the name "Grundy" just seemed to fit Thank you legolijntje, I hope they start selling them there soon, it really is a great set Thank you Mr_Malfoy! Thank you coupi! And thanks for the additional info; the set wasn't listed on shop@home when I wrote the review, so I decided to just try to give appropriate names. Thanks Legoless! I shall apply to the Beeb directly! Thanks for your comments Canada_7. The CREATOR sets are often better value; I definitely don't feel ripped off as it was such a fun build (or fun builds), and it has some interesting parts.

Thank you Leg Godt Gud. I agree, we'll just have to add in the elements we find missing. Thank you meyerc13, the grey cabinets were a pleasant surprise and I think the tan plates will come in handy. Good luck with your modifications and parts retrieval! Thanks lightningtiger! I think a shopping strip of different small shops based on a modified version of the surf shop would be very attractive, and would give a "touristy" feel to a beachfront. The cafe is bare, they have a menu but all they serve is coffee. I practically live on coffee, but just coffee isn't my idea of "Paradise"! Thanks The Yellow Brick. The boat is a really nice colour, but I agree, it doesn't "pop" on a blue baseplate, and a blue baseplate (or two) is the quickest way to add instant sea for this set. Thank you very much, tedbeard, I appreciate your comments. Thank you Macoco. It would have been great to have new colours of CMFs accessories for sale in the surf shop, especially as there are quite a few CMFs that would fit well into this overall scene. Thank you Brickster! Your comments mean a lot to me. I really hope you enjoy building this set when you do. Thank you ZO6, again high praise. I completely agree about the lack of any sea, and the female minifig could easily have been replaced by one with a more "maritime" feel. Thank you for your compliments, dr spock! Thanks Kiel! I sometimes think I've been a little harsh on the set, as it is still a very nice set, but then I'm comparing it to my last build, Lighthouse Island, which was so much more fun and engaging. Thank you Zorbas! It is indeed easy to forget that overall there are a large amount of accessories, and that although not that many are in the surf shop, there are quite a few in the boat. I really hope that they will release complimentary sets to help integrate the Marina further into a City set-up. Thank you for your comments Nightshroud99; we're all missing the sea.
