  1. Thank you very much Siegfried! I shall try to keep it in good condition! Thank you darkdragon, I hope to do more Fabuland reviews so that others can live vicariously! Thank you very much Fangy! The Fabuland love is spreading.... Thank you Bricks2000
  2. I think it's a fantastic MOC from anyone, let alone a 12 year old and thought it would be appreciated here. The MOC is remarkably accurate, as well as beautifully done. I quote from my original source: FWIW the original building was built in 1878.
  3. Happy Birthday Dragonator and Alice, hope you both have a suitably fun day.
  4. Aww, badboy, we'll give your tattered remains a decent burial. What we find of them, at least.
  5. I've had a good look through and I really can't see that this has already been posted. It's old news, from March, but it was only brought to my attention today and I thought it was impressive enough to share with the EB community at large. Who knows, this lad may become a member here himself one day (when he's old enough). The news story from the local newspaper at the time.
  6. Thank you so much, Hinckley, that means a lot from the Fabuland aficionado! Or you could send them to me and I'll review them for you....? I know how busy you are, and any way I could possibly help out...
  7. Just as I was getting used to my old title (I was going to claim it had stayed because I insist on hugs) along comes a new one. I honestly thought that the stand-in would stay for a very, very long time. Fabuland Reviewer & Defender [after I have failed miserably to produce anything worthy of even a small titter, let alone a title-inducing riotous guffaw, poor Hinckley has had to resort to giving me a sensible title, which records my love of Fabuland and that I truly would protect my ever-expanding Fabu-collection (and indeed anyone else's) with my last gasp. ]
  8. And if Rufus doesn't convince you, then pick me! (no worries if you don't, though) No plans to be away for July, and you know how much I've been looking forward to this!
  9. Fangy this is (as expected) a stunning review! The pictures are beautiful - I love the comparison pictures with prior series and the informative parts pictures, and the information you have provided is comprehensive (even including statistics!) Thank you so much for this fabulous review, and thank you also to whichever circumstances allow you to give us this sneak preview! I can tell we're going to be getting a lot of these!
  10. That really is a remarkably clever advertising idea, executed extremely well. It's great that LEGO want to hold onto the idea of imagination based play, based on their continued use of their "imagine" slogan. I'm glad to have seen this, so thanks for digging it out.
  11. There are some great entries here, three points just don't quite seem enough, but well done everyone! 1 point each to: 20) Artist Entry (Build by lisqr) 33) Mad Scientist Entry (Build by Skafte) 36) Lawn Gnome Entry (Build by Ninja Nin) (and an honourable mention to Pelle - I loved how organic this build is, and the light is great - it was a really tough decision, sorry)
  12. Many great entries, and in truth I'd like to select minifigs from many different collections so congratulations everyone. 1 point each to: 5) Cryostasis by Darkblane 9) The Brick Defenders' Brownstone : Under Siege by R66Y 14) Eurobricks Collectable Minifigures Series 1 by Oky Wan Kenobi. Good luck all!
  13. Love the idea behind this MOC (galloping with coconuts ) and the way the idea has stretched; it immediately brings to mind the scene in the original film (regretfully I haven't seen Spamalot )and the posing of the figures works really well. Before the onslaught of "you shall not have died in vain, sweet Concorde" and "actually sir I'm not dead" etc etc etc, may I say a great follow-up would be King Arthur's battle with the Black Knight?
  14. Having fun? ;)

  15. I'm just having a drink with Bossk, and with us is Quarryman doing what Quarryman does. Here are a few more angles of the EB display (bear in mind the monorails are moving):
  16. Topics merged.
  17. Welcome AbbieDabbles (we met at the FFOL MOCtail party), glad you decided to try this out again! After 10 posts you will be able to edit your profile, use the search function etc, and if you make one of those posts here, you'll get a shiny pink star! There's a whole load more info here and if you have any questions feel free to PM me (which you can also do after your 10th post).
  18. I said some of it, Ricey. :P

  19. Actually your dick revolved around other stuff. But quite a few things revolved around your camel-toe.
  20. A little belated, but Happy Birthday Sandy!
  21. I am told it is imperative that a few titles are noted. They are all from Hinckley. Hinckley might be a little drunk. How a [Hinckley couldn't remember what he planned to say, he's drunk, and he can't work his phone} When a penis speaks [no-one can truly remember why, but I had apparently said something hilarious pertaining to Hinckley's monorail and its resemblance to an anatomical feature particular to men] Hold please [the previous title was deemed inappropriate by some prudes, and thus has been replaced with a temporary stand-in pending the discovery of a more suitable substitute]
  22. Stash, you're a star! The multitude of yellow bags are now safely in our hotel room. CopMike and Quarry may never see theirs again...... (Oh alright, we won't build them; you can have them back )
  23. Yeah, there just for the cuisine. P.S. We're here! To the relief of many, there's definitely a bath.
  24. And another yay from me! This is really well done; the depiction of an old CRT TV with the Zoo TV test card is great and I love how you've made the curves around the screen. It's all in proportion and "Zoo Station" popped into my head when I saw it. More please (especially if there will be dangling trabants! ) And I really like the new olive on your Popmart MOC!
