  1. I completely understand that we all fear convicting one of our own, but looking around, the most suspicious thing we have to go on today is that someone has apparently admitted lying. Again. That many of us raised questions regarding the veracity of Raquel's statements, and that she has been far from forthcoming in her replies only further deepens her suspicion, in my opinion. Coupled with the fact that it is well known amongst us that poor Ravi died as a result of his lies; would someone be stupid enough to lie to us all again after what Mr Crusoe did to him? I'm intriged by the people who agree with this, yet seem unwilling to act. Are you defending a fellow scum? We need to find these evil-doers for our own safety, and sending someone to Mr Crusoe is the only way to do so. I'm finding it very hard to believe at this moment that Raquel can be anything other than scum, so: I will vote Raquel Benito Juarez (Raven Brickroft) Once again, I can change my vote should Raquel be able to defend herself adequately, or should some other information come to light.
  2. Absolutely, Bridget and thank you for reminding us this point has already been made. So, while I would still like to hear from those mentioned, I too would like to hear some evidence from Raquel that she is not lying.
  3. Thank you for compiling that list, Danielle; I've had a good look around and I don't believe we are missing anyone (unless you count Cruz's hair, which is a little long). And Geert, I agree we are all free to move around, as we all have been. You rightly state "IF" our maid is to be believed, and I have been pondering that. I find it surprising that someone who we barely caught a glimpse of yesterday, let alone heard from, would be spontaneously told by God that she "caught a glimpse of someone with long hair". I do believe that God would have been much more specific, and if that were the case, I would expect a much more specific accusation. Indeed, if I had been told anything by God I would believe it to be true and not backtrack and claim my accusations were not really accusations. Unfortunately I am not the recipient of such beneficience Perhaps the maid could tell us a little more about how she came by this information? If nothing else, this is a useful tool to get some of the quieter of our number to start talking.
  4. Great idea for a thread, Fangy! And great pictures everyone; Smokebelch you're a genius Here's my effort: "Whoa! I wasn't expecting that!!"
  5. Oh! Kylan! Do you mind if I have a suck of your cocktail while we wait to see if anyone else has anything to say?
  6. Talking to each other is the only way for us to root out these evil-doers at the moment, but I don't think activities are suspicious as long as we all continue the discussion; indeed those who disappear off without so much as a peep or those who only talk about their idle plans for the day worry me. Which is probably what you were referring to, anyway, Colette. Kylan, although you have deep blue eyes, as clear as glacial pools that a girl could just fall right into..... sorry, ahem what was I saying? Oh, yes, I don't think Mr Crusoe really is the focus of our concern, more those who wish to harm us at night, so it might be best to continue our attention on who they might be. Dreo, could you fix me a drink? I'm gonna need something for breakfast.
  7. Finally someone to turn down my room! Glad you could finally join us, Raquel. You mention someone with long hair, is that what you were doing all day? Well I have long, lustrous hair (which would look all the better if you had gotten me that shampoo ) but it's a well known fact that yesterday I was at the beach with Colette and Cruz engaging in Tai Chi or otherwise joining in the discussion to try to track down those who mean us harm.
  8. Really funny, thanks Peppermint! For some reason they remind me of tribbles and the expression on the chick in the middle of the first picture is wonderful!
  9. I'm very relieved to see us all here this morning, but I'm saddened by the loss of Ravi, a useless chef, but one of us nonetheless. There already seems to be speculation as to why we are mercifully still here, and I think further discussion will aid us in rooting out these murderers and protecting our lives, but as has been said, we don't have much to go on. I'd still very much like to hear from our maid...
  10. Says you! And Smittyfan - who's your brother? I had no idea there were siblings here!
  11. Rick!!!!! Adorable! (the Fabuland mot du jour) This prompted a serious double, double-take What am I doing to Rufus? What are you doing to me?? And where's my wine??? (and why have you rubbed all my face off?)
  12. This is beautiful, it reminds me of the "Venice" level in the LEGO - Indiana Jones video game. I really like the gondola with the golden fish detail, and the fountain is superb. There are so many charming details, thanks so much for sharing so we could enjoy it too!
  13. I was just re-reading the (hilarious) ending to day one, and noticed in the first picture, mildly worryingly yet in a cute and adorable way, Helen Hippo staring deep into my very soul.... (Or she may just be proffering applesauce) Great pictures Hinck
  14. Once again, some interesting points have been raised. There seem to be three common stand points: Those who have questioned and re-questioned Ravi, and still find his answers wanting. Those who state they find Ravi suspicious but still hang on in the hopes of more "evidence" from him or others. Those who say little-to-nothing at all. I find myself in the first group; after repeated questioning the answers provided by Ravi are still returning as "I might or might not be lying" (in fact he initially confessed to lying) and as my suspicions continually come to rest on him I feel I should back them up: vote: Ravi Bombay/ RvB I agree with Colette that we cannot just laze around waiting to be picked off by the mafia and I also agree with Bridget - I am not absolutely convinced but it's the best I have to go on and I can change my vote if necessary. I am also concerned that those who wish to do us harm have likely been listening to our conversations and will know what we are wanting to hear, when they do come to speak to us. I'm really very sorry, Ravi, I really hope you are scum. And you still haven't made us any breakfast
  15. Yes, where is the maid? I need my miniature shampoo replacing (and she might be plotting to murder us in our beds )
  16. Well, new information has been brought to light by Bridget and Claudia, and I'm not really convinced by Ravi's responses. It almost seems as if, when told what an innocent player should say, he comes right out with that response He still remains the most suspicious person to me, but there are some awfully quiet people around....
  17. You are very welcome to join Colette and myself, Cruz. And please, call me Panda
  18. Welcome, Chase. I've not been here very long, and like you I lurked for a while. I'm really glad that such an enthusiast has come out of their shell enough to join EB, and as many people have already said (albeit elsewhere) and probably will say: this is a fun and friendly forum. It was interesting to read more about you on your profile, and I'm sure you already know exactly where the Action and Star Wars theme forums are I'm sure you will quickly gain in confidence once you start showing off your LEGO, or by responding to other people showing off theirs. So don't be embarrassed or shy; enjoy the community
  19. Yay! I'm Right! (but still possibly deranged) I do like it, and now I understand your avatar! And the flickr pics made me giggle, too.
  20. You also confessed to stalking me, don't forget, but then again, I rather liked it
  21. Cornelius, for some reason your picture reminds me of a gnome with a fishing rod. Am I mad? Am I right? Is this some sort of LEGO Rorschach? (these things are not mutually exclusive, mind you)
  22. I'm not into sneaking, I'm afraid , but it's very pleasant on the beach with the waves lapping at your feet . It's not as if we can go very far on a remote island anyway, so I'm sure we'll still hear Mr Crusoe's announcement
  23. That's quite an outburst; please don't upset yourself on my account, you must understand we all need to be asking questions So yes, your response has made your stand point very clear. Incidentally, I tend to agree with you with regard to Mr Bombay, and I appreciate the addition of your analysis to the conversation. I too am keen to hear his defence. Would you like to join me for Tai Chi? It's marvellous at reducing stress
  24. I have been meditating and throughout I have been listening to you all chatter. I do think some important points have been raised: Firstly, that Mr Bombay was actively seeking an alliance before this horrific act had occured, and has since had very little to say in his defence, except that he doesn't remember . Secondly Ms Lemans has confused both Mr Bombay and Mr Roswell and Ms Toscana and Mr Redblade, susequently stating she "misread" (or presumably misheard) some statements. This was later followed by a long statement in which Ms LeMans highlighted the importance of reading each other's actions and statements . Were you deliberately trying to confuse us, as it is clear you understand the importance of listening closely? There are a few others who are also raising my suspicions, but I think I may be paranoid... We need to find the perpetrators and bring them to whatever justice we can on this remote island. However if I can continue my search for love, to heal my aching heart, I'd be ever so grateful .
  25. This is dreadful! Our beautiful idyll has been violated, and my dream holiday to find true love looks to be turning into a terrifying ordeal, with poor Mr Crusoe's true love cruelly skewered to a palm tree. Plus, there's blood in the pool...
