In the training simulation you were willing to brush darkdragon off as noobish, but here you think she's scummy.
-
I'm not going to lie, I really don't find anything scummy in Gordon's behavior. He's been, as Ensign Falcon says, a bit of a dick and super pushy, but pushiness is a big towntell. While he may not be as assertive as usual, I don't remember him actually being that assertive in the training simulation - and his behavior is almost identical. The only thing that bothers me about him is how he's flipped on darkdragon since the simulation. Why would he do that? She's been playing pretty much the same. I don't think it's enough to warrant a vote, though. I don't actually have a set FoS yet, but gun-to-my-head, my vote would be Allison Williams for taking the middle road and being semi-useless as of now. However, it's early days yet, and I'm open to more options.

Yes, that's possible too. It seems Hornby's style as well, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Why are we wasting our time talking about hairstyles and clues in the pictures? It's obvious that that rule was put there due to what happened in the training simulation - it's either the host trying to be fair and let us shoot ourselves in the foot if we want to or it's a joke.

Right, right, I meant crewmembers. I'm obviously the only player here.

Okay? Is that all you have to say?

Let me answer your question with a question, Ensign. Why shouldn't I PM early in the game? Really, I'd like to know. If I PM too much, will be ears fall off? In my opinion, the only reason I wouldn't want to PM would be if I had something to hide. I've got nothing to hide, so I see no risk in PMing. How about you, Ensign? Have you got something to hide? The benefits of PMing greatly outnumber the 'risks' (if there are any). PMing people allows me to see what their opinions are, see who they suspect, gauge their reactions when I give my opinions, etc. Very often scum are more likely to bus their partners in-thread than in PM, so I find it very useful to keep track of people's scumreads/townreads. Trust has nothing to do with PMing in my opinion - As for the particular PM I sent you, I genuinely am happy to be playing with you again, as you're one of my favorite players. And don't think you're the only one who's received a PM like that either - many of the players I'm used to playing with have also received similar messages from me, as I plan to keep in touch with them as well. So, in short, I PM liberally because it's my primary scumhunting tool. I hope that answers your question. Once again, it has nothing to do with trust, Ensign. If I only PM'd the people I trusted, I'd never send a single PM in the entire game.

I can't tell if you're joking or serious, but either way, I think it would be best to cut this out. Hornby hasn't done anything wrong, as far as I know, and coming up with far-fetched cases against him just causes confusion.

Not to fear, fair crew of the Excalibur! I, Commander Cammy Lieutenant Mike, will use my incredible deductive skills to figure out who these nasty Purists are! Then we can show them that the only cults allowed in this world are those of evil Egyptian gods!

Science Officer Lieutenant Michael McAndrews reporting for duty! Is it just me, or do the names of all the command officers seem way too long? It must be all the titles weighing us down. Damned titles. *gasp* Hinckley's playing! -

General Discussion and Announcements

I've been continuing your legacy, def. -
Well, I guess this confirms my towniness - or at least confirms that I'm not a filthy purist. Anyways, I honestly don't think that's your scum team, especially McAndrews, who has been nothing but town in my eyes during this situation. It's possible one or two members were thrown in for WIFOM, but let's not let that drag us down. If you are telling the truth, I'm quite disappointed that you did - I wanted the thrill of catching the scum without any help. Ah well. We were going to kill you anyway. But... but I like you. Oh, now I see the Fleet Admiral has admitted it... What a shame. Oh well, thank you anyway for the hard work you've put into this game, Fleet Admiral - I had a fun time while it lasted, and it's a shame it had to be cut short like this.
-
Well aren't you slippery. Like Wheeler said, you're not of any use anymore, so you're as good as vanilla from now on. Also, I hate to say it, but if you're town, we might actually be better off without you - we don't want you outing any more PRs. But you're not town, so I don't have to say it. What I do have to say is that I'm incredibly impressed with your scum play! Awesome job, Jones!
-
I got no message on night 1 and no message last night, so, unless I have an action I don't know about that only works on even nights, there's nothing to talk about. Honestly though, we should save the 'talking' for if Jones flips town. If he's scum, I'm confirmed to not be scum as well.
-
Just post it and cut out all the offensive stuff. It doesn't have to be coherent.
-
Why do I have a feeling that's what happened? No, there's not. You can literally ask everyone here, I wasn't told about the block until Wheeler told me this morning. Man, I'm still having trouble buying your story, but it actually does kind of fit. However, if it's true, we don't know who was blocked, and now we're up a creek without a paddle.
-
Oh wow, you're legitimately still continuing your campaign on me. I thought you would have been smart enough to not do that as scum. Heh. Once again, if you have to bend the bonds of reality to make someone fit as scum, they're not scum.
-
That I can understand, as that's what's been happening with me as well. However, it is customary when you blocked to receive a message saying that you were unable to perform your desired action. Now, the blocker claims to have blocked me night 1, but I have no night action, so I didn't get a message. However, the blocker even found out that you have an action he prevented you from using, so you surely would have gotten a message about it. I'm not asking about how the neutral cop will benefit each scum team, I'm asking how the neutral cop can benefit himself. There is just no reason for a neutral to have an informative action, unless he's a hider. A role that has no method of winning has no place in this situation, so I refuse to believe in it. You saying that there are no conversions just strengthens the case against you. If there was no conversion, then the lack of a kill is the work of a protector or a blocker, and the case against you is pretty good. Your best chance was to have taken a stance against Wheeler, saying she had been converted. Nah, it'd be around 5 people, nothing too drastic. Heh, that actually makes sense, if you think about it. However, the Admiral told us not to look through the pictures for clues, and I don't think he'd intentionally misdirect us. Also, the blocker said they prevented someone from using their action. I certainly don't have an action, and the blocker can prove it from night 1. Why do you think the blocker got the message he did, hmm?
-
That reaction is awful, absolutely horrible. Unless he's been intentionally avoiding the thread, he should have known that you wanted to talk about who was blocked. That right there pretty much confirms him as scum, to be honest. Well, had it been me, I would have said that you had the wrong person - the case you made to Gordon as to why you're town is a good one, so I wouldn't accuse you just for having the wrong guy. However, the reaction Jones gave, or, more accurately, the lack of reaction is incredibly scummy. In addition, this post by Jones: Seems incredibly rushed, forced, and awkward. He knew he had to say something since he was blocked, but there wasn't much to say so he just repeated himself. He usually says at least five times this much in each of his statements, and he usually makes at least three to five more statements than he's made today. In addition, he used your nickname, not your real name (why they call you Scuba, I don't want to know ), which is a sign of nervousness. All this said, I am 100% that the correct lynch today is Zachary Jones. Vote: Zachary Jones (Flipz) What the hell is this about? Why would a neutral have an infromative PR? How does he win? If he's just a survivor, he has no need for the cop action. In addition, why would anyone investigate you, you've been the only consistent townread in the game. This whole neutral cop business is just more of Jones' BS.
-
Wonderful! Since the blocker's message says it stopped someone from using their action, there's a good chance that someone is the scum killer. Actually, I think constantly blocking that person might be a good idea. We'll see.

You're just biased. However, do note that the dead guy with the spikey hair (he didn't talk enough for me to learn his name) bandwagoned on Suzanne yesterday, so she's probably not Purist. It could be a bus, but that looked to me like a "blend in with the crowd on a townie" kind of vote. She could still be third party scum, though.
