LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Tamamono replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I never thought I'd say this after seeing the list, but this is an almost flawless series! The businessman, DJ, Cheerleader, Bat, Bavarian, Fairy, Conquistador, and Santa are all must haves for me, and the others (namely skier an actor) I'll probably end up picking up as well. Thanks for the great news, CM4S! -

Ehh, kind of a vanilla lineup if you ask me. Anyways, 5 out of 23 isn't really that bad, especially if there are one or two neutrals. Usually 1/4 of the players are scum, and 5/23 is roughly a fifth. So, that just means that the 'vig' is likely to be a sk.

Vote: Ensign Campbell (Dakar A)
-
I'd greatly appreciate it if you could spill your guts about the other actions. Pwetty pwease? But... but you were... Am I supposed to lie!?
-
I can get behind this. As long as Dakar dies too, I'm happy. However, they might have a protector, so I'd really like it if we could lynch the scummier of the two today, but yeah, this is the best plan. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and this mythical blocker of yours will block their protector.
-
I didn't mean literally voting for him, moron. I meant why is everyone saying that they'll vote Palathadric when we have obvious scum right in front of us. What is with you and WIFOM this game? I honestly think that Pala is town, and I don't want town to get lynched, so I'm defending him. Simple as that.
-
Hey. Hey. Guess what. Did you know that people who 'keep an open mind' are usually scum? Yeah, I know, right? Crazy, huh? They like to keep their mind open so they can jump onto any bw that forms - aka. they fencesit. Being open minded is not a town action. It's less that I want to rush into lynching you and more that I just don't want to hear your megablocks defense. The only thing I would have accepted as a town defense is "I'm sorry, I was trying to make a point to Hinck but I found I was wrong, so I changed the name. I'm sorry, I'm new", because I find myself trying to justify my townie actions sometimes too. You didn't give that defense, though, so I'm ready to fry you. Meh. I don't think Rockford would immediately be a good lynch if he flips town - in fact, his response is a great one, and I have him down as town for now. That's a far-fetched plan. I'm sorry, but I'm always skeptical of suspicions relying on the suspected being the godfather. I agree that he would have been a good lynch if nothing else came up just to test everyone who didn't vote for him, but Campbell's slip is incredibly condemning, and I don't know why everyone isn't lynching him yet. Ahem. Weren't you the one who said that you were completely sure of him?
-
>mistake Nope. You intentionally edited the post. Town would never do that. Therefore, you are not town. I'm known for my concrete reads. So, what you're saying is basically, "Even if we're both scum, don't kill us! There are other scum you can kill!" Man this is easy. I love how you're accusing me of being too sure of you when you're totally sure of palathadric. I'm honored that you're trying to pull me down with you, but it's not going to yield any results, bucko. You're going to flip scum.

"I will nurture Ghost C from the back row! Same order!" -
If you vote first and you die, then he's not scum. Scum never have a bomb. Cool, then lynching you would be alright just to see the voting pattern. You're town because you always joke around as town, and this 'defense' (it's more of a giving up, but whatever) makes me even more certain you're town. There is no reason for a townie to doctor a quote, so thus, there is no suitable defense he can give. Pewter's strange behavior is borderline trolling and is characteristic of him. Campbell's strange behavior has been blatantly trying to edit a quote in his favor. There's a big difference.
-
So Campbell changed his quote, huh? I knew that guy was scum. No, he's new, that's exactly the sort of thing he'd pull. Hell, I've pulled it with PMs in previous games, and in a lengthy-ish day thread, he probably thought it would go unnoticed. I honestly don't think the scum would try to cover for each other yet. I still stand by my belief that Pewter is town. I think it's likely that Campbell made a novice mistake as scum. Either way, the only correct course of action here is to kill the almost confirmed scum - which is Campbell.
-
What a coincidence, I told him to investigate you! We should be friends. Nuh-uhh. I'm sure we all know that Ensign Hinckles is one of the biggest targets for metagaming in the situation - nobody would try to kill him on the first night. I'd bet my boots the protector was on him. No, I think it's more likely that he would have been blocked - or even better - misdirected, since being blocked would have raised an eyebrow or two with him. So, that having been said, anyone the three of us suggested to be investigated is not likely to be one of our partners (save for godfather) if we're scum. This'll give us some good reads if you/Cammy flip scum at some point. Let me tell you from experience, Ensign, that gut feelings rarely turn out well. No, thinking about the MO, I'd say the vig would have the more consistent action. I've seen scum teams kill players through mixed means, and this seems to be one of those, so Danny was probably the scum kill. Like I said earlier, it was probably to frame Gordon. Call me an idealist, but I legitimately thought people would follow me - I guess I underestimated how obvious Donna was. In any case, maybe the bandwagon I'll be starting against her today will have more luck. I certainly hope so! While I do agree that it will give us excellent reads if he's scum, I still stand firm in my belief that Pewter is town. No scum in their right mind would troll the game so hard. Honestly. However, if we have nothing/no one better, and Pewter claims vanilla, then I feel that it would be an alright thing to lynch him just because the potential benefits outnumber the potential risks. That is, once again, if he's vanilla. Mhm. Exactly. Campbell would actually be a great lynch today.
-
Now why on earth would the scum kill Mandel? Plenty of people still suspected him. The only explanation I can think of is that they're trying to frame Gordon, but would anybody be stupid enough to try to do that after it's been done a thousand times? That is the question, I suppose. And what about whoever Peanuts was playing? What would a vigilante have to gain from killing him? That was a vigilante, right? I think it was last time. Although it could also be a second scum team or an SK. Either way, we're right where we started, except with two less townies around. This is why NL is never a good idea. I'm disappointed in you, Falcon. That was a good reaction test - you had me going for a while there. You should have continued to gauge the reactions of suspicious people - and maybe even faked a guilty on one of us today. You and your damned conscience.

"Hrm... I honestly don't think applying venom to our weapons would do anything, and similarly, neither would any other items." "Let's go in to the portal. There's no way to know what lies behind there other than just diving in head-first." -
As long as we pull together, I think we can lynch Donna, and frankly, I think she's a great lynch. I may be assuming a lot from her statement, but am I assuming too much? Definitely not. That kind of attitude is not town, so it would be a good idea to kill her.
-
Jokes on you, buddy, I've already unvoted. Hah. Anyways, as for Mandel, his defense makes sense - I've definitely been there, and trying to get scum lynched without second guessing yourself is nerve wrecking at best. I honestly don't see the virtue of the "scum wouldn't do this" defense, but the rest of it seems genuine, so I think I'll Unvote: Timothy Mandel (Dannylonglegs) As for Pewter, he seems like nothing but enthusiastic town to me. I mean, hell, even I joke about being scum. I hate to use this, but the truth is, if he was scum, he would walk a fine line and not joke about such things. [how to read Tammo]Truly, when I'm scum, I take all accusations (even joking ones) quite seriously and try to brush them off with my ego, and would never even dream of joking about being scum. However, when I'm town, I'm always joking about something or other. I must have told at least 4 people this game that I was scum even when I'm town. [/how to read Tammo] Being aggressive as scum is one thing, but being blatantly stupid is another entirely. As important as it is to get a lynch, there's really no point if we're all just like "Oh, well, I don't think he's scum, but I'm going to bandwagon and prevent all reads against me and everyone else while losing what's probably an innocent townie." This kind of attitude is nowhere near town. Donna is scum like 90% because of this post. "I'm going to bandwagon because a lynch is necessary". Nope, not gonna' cut it, sport. If we need a lynch, then I hope you won't mind too much if it's on you. I'd like to urge everyone to switch to Donna before the day ends - even if she isn't scum, this sort of apathy by her will make her a threat to the town. If you're not helping out, you're part of the problem. Vote: Donna Willis (KingoftheZempk) And no, I am not going to show mercy on you because you were killed first last time.
-
Thank you kindly. *tips hat* *huh* So, you vote Gordon, and then when a case is presented as to why he's not scum, you unvote him, and then, when someone calls you out on unvoting someone you're tunneling on, you revote him. Honestly, this is blatant scum behavior, but I'd put this kind of thing above you. There's no reason for you to be this all-over-the-place. Or are you trying to copy a certain Sith Lord and be bold? I think I'm going to Unvote: Ensign Allison Williams (swils) and Vote: Timothy Mandel (Dannylonglegs)
-
>defense To what. I've been busy in real life, Campbell, and if I'm not mistaken, I've spoken up more than you. The PMing isn't strange, as you can plainly see in my defense to the accusation Falcon posted earlier. If we're going to lynch town (which we are, based on the accusations so far ), it might as well be useless town. So, yes, I've explained now, so you can unvote me.

"I thought I had already said that... " -
Now now, I didn't PM all the bigshots, just the ones I wanted to talk to. Yeah, Gordon's town. Truly, I see no reason to lynch him today - he's acting identically to the way he did in the simulation, save for the point about darkdragon which frankly doesn't strike me as very important. My three main lynch targets for today would be Williams, Campbell, and Pewter, in that order. And since we have unlimited unvotes, I see no reason to not throw my weight around a little. Vote: Ensign Allison Williams (swils) Much like Jones, Williams has completely flown under the radar thus far, in fact, more so than usual. I've played with Williams before, and she's usually a little bit more talkative. Not as much so as some people (), but more talkative nonetheless. In addition, if she is town, she's of no use if she's just going to sit around and do nothing.
