Sweet! I await the rest of the MOC! *sweet* I just realized that if you slap some treads onto it, you'll have the Technodrome from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! X-D

Well, it was listed on back order - looks like that may have been the last gasp.

Lego's Catapult Obsession Takes a Very Dark Turn...
Mofo Jones replied to Athos's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You know what this looks like to me? The androgynous character next to the baby is holding a thermos or a bottle or something like that. They are next to the grill which lights up. I think they're basting the child and will be catapulting the child onto the grill. These days, Belleville has some dark undertones under all that pink. *wacko* -
The sigfig/avatar of TPAM is packing heat! Fear the plastic gun!!! >:-)

Ok, since the thread was brought back to life, I had to vote for 6929 Star Fleet Voyager. I had the set as a kit and somehow it got broken up and eventually tossed out by my mom. :'-( I will own this set again one day.

The 2002 Slave I is set number 7153. That one won't cost as much as others you've listed, but it doesn't go cheap these days. Unless you get lucky, you're looking at original MSRP ($50) for a used set and double that for a sealed one. Oh, and it sounds to me like you're starting into a dark age. Just because you are quitting LEGO for now doesn't mean that you have to get rid of your sets. Store them for a while. That way you can build them again when you emerge on the other side.

where??? lego stores or target stores? A Target over in Sacramento. I am a happy guy today. X-D X-D Now if I can snag a Republic Cruiser before they go away, I will be a very happy guy!

Blah, I'm older than a bunch of you young'uns! |-/

I found a Dwarves' Mine today, after I was sure they were all gone! X-D X-D X-D

Update: Found a Dwarves' Mine this afternoon! *sweet* Angry Giant Troll ON! X-D

I was undecided on the Dwarves' Mine set and I think I missed my opportunity to get one without having to pay a huge amount of money. :( My local Target still has a bunch of TIE Crawlers though.

Unfortunately for my wallet, I have been bitten by both the LEGO bug and the Hasbro bug. Everytime I think about getting out of the Hasbro game, they bring out something else that I absolutely MUST have. I had SW figs and ships when I was a kid (ok, I still have them) but I hadn't bought anything since about 1997... Then ROTS was released and shortly after that I was sucked in.... *wacko*

I mentioned the Republic Cruiser a.k.a. "the red one" and the Jedi Starfighter with Hyperspace Ring, a.k.a. "the one with the ring" to my wife. The quotations are her responses to what I mentioned. Somehow I think that I will be buying my own LEGO after Christmas. I can only hope that stock of the RC holds out that long. 8-|

And I'm sure you can find somebody who might want a squadron of snowspeeders! *sweet*

Sweet preview/teaser there, Hinckley! Bring on the full review! *sweet* *sweet* -
211? Wow! That's a whole lot of turrets and speederbikes, madoka! I would like to see a picture of all of those sets on one display! I'd think that if you were so inclined, you could make a warehouse or a hangar MOC with ease!

I got the TIE Crawler for $29.99 today - Target had the signs for the Combat Crawler at $29.99 in front of the TIE Crawler sets. A woman pointed it out to a manager, who said he would give it to her for that price. Since I was right there and noticed the good deal, she said "This guy wants one too" so the manager was kind of stuck and had to sell one to me for the lower price. :) I'm not gonna say no to a lower cost on a set I was going to eventually buy! >:-) Cheaper SW LEGO on! X-D

I went through a dim age (wasn't buying much LEGO) from 02-05 so I missed several SW sets I would have purchased, such as the RGS, 4504 Falcon, 4500 Snowspeeder, and I would definitely have purchased any and all of those on sale or clearance. I'm amazed that I had the presence of mind to buy the TIE Bomber and Jango's Slave I.

I'm glad that I went ahead and bought the Hoth Base...now I have to decide if/when to open it. I still have to get the Republic Cruiser.

your first license set that wasn't star wars
Mofo Jones replied to simonjedi's topic in LEGO Licensed
Mine was the Batwing - got it for about $16 at Amazon earlier this year. -
I haven't seen Shrek 3, but I heard it was a huge letdown. The best part about Madagascar was the penguins, just like the scrat sections are the best part of the Ice Age series. Supporting characters, FTW! X-D
