  1. 7663 Sith Infiltrator at a local WM. It's a good thing that I've cut back my Hasbro collecting, otherwise my wallet would really be in a world of hurt.
  2. A fellow collector buddy found it at a local WalMart. Apparently the shelf price on it was a $40 clearance price, but this one had a couple of tags on it that said $25. So, he grabbed it for that price and sold it to me. I don't know if I would ever have purchased this set at $50 or $40, but I had to bite on 1/2 of MSRP.
  3. I wouldn't have been able to get over to TRU yesterday, so I had to pass on the $5 coupon. I can't complain because I didn't pay full price for the 6210. I built my ILC last night. Good set, definitely worth the clearance price of $25 I paid for it a few weeks ago.
  4. I finally bought the Sail Barge. Had a 20% off coupon for TRU. It was the oldest set that I didn't have. I was REALLY tempted by the Republic Cruiser sitting on the shelf, in all its glorious red tones. I can't afford to get both at once, so I will just keep an eye out and get the RC next time there is another coupon sale.
  5. Yesterday I purchased a 7659 Imperial Landing Craft for $25 on clearance from a local Wal-Mart. I don't know why they were clearancing a "current" set, but I'm not complaining.
  6. Even though I told myself that I wouldn't buy it because I have the original, I bought the new Naboo Fighter on Thursday. I fear for my wallet when I find the Republic Cruiser, because I will purchase it as soon as I see it.
  7. Excellent review! I'm definitely sold on this set. X-D Thanks for the review, Kernow!
  8. The person above me may be counting down the hours until a certain book is released, in order to grab/purchase same, then rush home to read the book in one sitting. :-)
  9. 7706 ExoForce Mobile Defense Tank for $15 at a local Target.
  10. Nice pics, hinckley39! Maybe it's the Diet Dr. Pepper itself which caused you to do a spit take. :)
  11. The person above me is wrong about his assumptions ;-)
  12. The person above me apparently likes eating pancakes while defending the Grand Duchy of America from swashbucklin' piratical types.
  13. Don't shift any additional staples by laughing too much at that joke. X-D The Bundaberg root beer is actually pretty good stuff, even if the name will incite random fornication among the Down Under set. *sweet*
  14. Here's something random because it was discussed 5 pages ago, but apparently Root Beer exists in Aussie-Land, but it's only an export product. That would explain why I can find it in my local World Market.
  15. If you see a set on clearance and have even a slight thought that you want to buy it, do not wait for the price to drop. If you do, the set will be gone.
  16. I finally got a 4504 Millennium Falcon. *sweet* X-D I am a happy AFOL!
  17. Sounds like it might be "John Tucker Must Die". My wife and I watched "Europa Europa" last weekend. Quite a thought-provoking movie.
  18. 7695 Mars Mission MX-11 Astro Fighter 7770 Aqua Raiders Deep Sea Treasure Hunter 7771 Aqua Raiders Angler Ambush
  19. I just picked one of these up today. Fast assembly, nice design. $6 (TRU price) well spent! :)
  20. Believe or not, the last movie I watched was Star Wars Episode IV. My wife suggested it last week. The last movie I saw in the theater was Spider-Man 3. It was ok, but the first 2 were better. And oo7, you need to watch Robin Hood: Men In Tights again - it's hilarious! :-D
  21. I have a couple of the Batman sets, but I'm really waiting for the day that LEGO decides to make the 1960s TV show Batmobile. Bring on the Adam West version of Batman! *sweet*
  22. I see a possible MOC: Build up a small trooper compartment where the rover should be parked and then it would really start looking like a dropship from Aliens or StarCraft. Overall, I like the design. I don't know if I can afford it this year (too many SW sets to buy) but I like em! :)
  23. Boxes are a must. Every time I move, my sets get broken down, put into their original boxes and taped up, so I can build them again later.
  24. That is an absolute load of LEGO. 5 RGS?!? I'd be happy with one, and I passed up most of the Ep II sets because I went through a dark age about that time, so by the time I got back into LEGO, the clearance prices were long gone. :(
