Hi Alex75, I like what you have started here, the 10210 is a good base model. I have a question for you though: Do you envision having the upper deck be removable, or will it remain fixed? I guess my recommendation after looking over the build is that in this photo, I feel like the bricks around the cannon ports are a bit messy. I like the look of the 1x3 curves in dark blue, but the area feels too crowded with no flow. I do like the use of 1x2 slopes and cheese wedges atop them to sweep the curve back inward, but maybe you could try something that sits more flush? Right above the tiles that the second deck sits on, maybe you could add a plate that juts out one stud, then use bricks or plates to build directly on top of the headlight bricks (the lower port walls.) Add a second row of said headlight bricks at the same height the lower ones are in relation to the cannons, and finish with 1x2 slopes to cap the entire stack, bringing the walls back toward the deck in time to attach rails. Clear as mud, right? Your ship is off to a good start! Here's an example of what I'm saying. This is a ship built by EB member Dreamweb (His name is Steve.) Notice the cannon port walls extend from the hull and then slope back in? Hope this helps!

I agree with the others, this is a very nice build. Too many likes to comment on specifically. I do have one question: How did you go about making the flagstaff road in the carnival area? It looks very intricate...and I like that. Thanks and congratulations on this one!

I REALLY love that last building you showed us. Do you have instructions for that one?

I wouldn't suppose the figures in this MOC are entirely fictional, no? Looks wonderful. Maybe you could fill me in on the memorial? Is this a reference to the Second World War? Excellent build, I am impressed!

Was not disappointed! Make sure to update us on the interior! Will there be a refreshment station or is this house above that?

This is probably my favorite City layout I have yet seen. I think the roads are great, the shininess in question closely resembles the sheen of brand new tiles. Overall I think it is a success!

I agree with Junior Shark on the biplane...This MOC is really well done! Whenever you have a golden volume with a query on the cover, you can expect Excitement to commence. -
Expertly executed! I like the tree's canopy.

Neat. What else do you suppose these pieces would be useful for? Are they smooth on the inside at all, or will stacked plates fit in those grooves?

"Dogs" is a great term, although I've always heard them called "tie-backs" or sometimes "hold-backs." I do like the way "curtain dogs" sounds though... Maybe have a look into the following sets that use curtains: Classic Bat Cave Green Grocer Technically they are cloth: Volkswagen Camper Van The aforementioned Valentine's Dinner (thanks Exetrius!) Bike Shop and Cafe Etc. Hope this helps?

So beautiful, I might cry dinosaur tears! I had never considered using those ski landing gear for a base of some sorts, but it does have that nice little hydraulic. This build is very pleasing overall... Do you have any other 'science experiment gone haywire' type mocs?

I like all of these, but that last one is magnificent! The realistic airfoil-shaped wings and color scheme work well together. Are there instructions for her? Nice use of tumber windshields too....is there an interior? -
Good study in the science of redesigning these cars...I especially like your Lamborghini redesign...seeing as LEGO has made something similar in the past, I feel that with updated colors/stickers, your Gallardo could be a good set idea... Nice job!

Fine palace old chap. After all, if it ain't Baroque don't fix it! I like the chandelier design, but I might be missing the point on the aluminum foil in the background. Maybe a look at source material would clear up any doubts...what are you imitating here? Absolutely in LOVE with that canopy bed! Great job!

Decorative walls are also a classy way of using unwanted space... consider adding brick-built graffiti?

I love this build! The amount of detail in the catwalk could have the tendency to look too busy, but you've pulled it off quite nicely here!

One more thing, I wonder at the connection between Green's name and his former occupation in a Greenhouse....- 9 replies

REVIEW: 70324 Merlok's Library 2.0

Great review! I don't have any Nexo Knights yet...I feel like the theme is too "magical" for me. I mean, spells and wizards are castle-ish enough, but I'm not a fan of orcs, dwarfs or lava monsters that belch. Great parts load though. -
The Illuminar Contingency - Chapter One

Story is progressing well. Interested in who this boss is. Why would he light a fire next to the entrance to his lair? "Hello! Secret Base right here!" Still hoping Tony Stark Dr. Rain is not a villain...- 9 replies

I like the SNOT that smooths the hull toward the back of the ship using 1x2 slopes. Very nicely executed!

I like the horizontal orange stripes, and using these was a great addition; I feel they would make a great radio tower or maybe a gate over the river of lava... By the way, I am out of a job. Do you want to hire me? I got lost on the original "Gold Hunt" mission. Turns out two AA guns weren't a fair match for competition arrows...I'm glad to see you replaced the swivel chair with actual machinery. You'll lose less totally-dispensable henchmen that way.- 3 replies
