  1. That would be me. Very nicely done, and as I said in the headquarters of the Fabuland Builders Guild, you beat me to it. I can just see our favourite walrus out on the town, impressing the girl he loves with his new suit. Definitely a lady killer. Acquitted. What? Oh, I was acquitted, they never found the body. They never do. :skull: I see. You really needed to share that with all of us? Erm... Great. Now I'm telling stories based on a single line in a movie, in replies to threads about decals I didn't make based on references to events in a certain comic that shall remain nameless in which a character who isn't even our walrus, but was clearly inspired by him, appears to have, just maybe, accidentally, of course, brought about the untimely demise of a character who wasn't even really in the comic in the first place, and is entirely unrelated to the subject. Did I mention how much I like these decals? Well, I do, and thanks for the templates. Maybe I'll try one too!
  2. Excellent! I was considering the possibility of some Fabuland decals and you went and did it first. Actually, what I want to try is recreating some of the original part stickers, since most of them would be damaged by now. What you've done is a creative alternative that would allow Fabuland characters to assume a wide range of jobs, with the right decal. These will be indexed and added, in some form, after a few more build up. Fabuland Decals On! *y*
  3. He always was a little nearsighted when it came to other wizards, especially ones that overshadowed him. I'll be sure to put in a good word for Lord Kenneth and maybe give Pent his latest lesson from his master. He overestimates his powers, he always has. We aren't dealing with a single demon here, and the one we met was far from the most powerful class advancing on the territories. Excellent. I'm quite pleased you mentioned this. You see, the society disbanded after the death of Alyssta's mother, for reasons I'll explain in my upcoming installment, sometime in the next few hours. This will be an informative, though not action packed episode of the Aluvar Chronicles. All part of his destiny.
  4. Clearly, you don't know about 'The Fabuland Edge.' Remind me to explain it. In detail. You know, Hinck doesn't have a lot of experience with girls... We appreciate your support, group or not. Welcome to the Revolution: The Fabuland Revolutionâ„¢
  5. It's as accurate as any part of the S@H ordering system. Well, try it anyway, you never know... Honestly, I've had good luck with that part of things. So far, everything has been sent, sometimes a little slowly, sometimes amazingly fast, and it's all been correct. I really wish I could say the same for normal orders. As for the prices, just compare to Bricklink. There are a lot of things I wouldn't order from PaB, the more common stuff that every BL seller is trying to get rid of, but for specialty parts, it's usually a good deal. I add some PaB to almost every order, as new things appear. I'll throw in some castle parts with my next one, for example.
  6. Since it tells a story in the Fabuland Spirit, absolutely! The original line often featured stories, telling of the adventures and daily life of the residents of Fabuland, and this is sort of a modern equivalent of that, combined with a bit of real life. The dividing line between Fabuland stories and simple stories will be tricky at times, but basically it needs to either be built as if it's occuring in Fabuland, or tell a story that strongly relates to the whole Fabuland experience. This story was a poignant way of reminding us that we should learn to live in a world full of varied themes (yes, even Bionicle ), colours (bley/grey) and races (fleshie/yellow). To go further, your previous creation, while also a story in some ways, qualifies as a regular MOC because it depicts scenes that could easily be taking place in Fabuland, then combines that charming innocence with a head stuck on a mast. Fabuland Edge. Complicated, isn't it? It'll become more obvious with time. Either way, great job.
  7. WhiteFang: I'll be stopping in to see Master Pent tomorrow. If there is anything you'd like worked in, or that I should know, fill me in here and I'll check before I write it (I write these live as I'm posting them, so it isn't exactly planned in advance). I just leave enough interesting possibilities to give me something to work with the next time. Makes it a little more spontaneous that way. I plan to visit, leave, and make it into L-12 before the finish of the next section, so if anyone wants to set up an ambush, I'm on my way.
  8. L-13 Black Knights territory Outskirts of a small town that lies in the shadow of Majestic Tower A village! Now, maybe we can get some rest! Yes, that would be highly advisable, given what lies ahead. I hate it when you say things like that. Grandoth brings the carriage to a stop in front of a blacksmith's shop. I'm going to have the carriage checked out before we begin the longest portion of the trip. We won't have many more opportunities. Hmmm, oh yes, right, next gas station 50 miles. Gas station? Aluvar and Alyss begin walking toward a small market, in search of food and information. Alyss is dressed a bit too well for the occasion and attracts a little attention, but mostly the villagers are too busy with their own worries to be concerned with visitors. I'm going to make a few... discrete inquiries. Then I think we should attempt to contact an old pupil of mine. Do we have to? All of your students were creepy. You were one of my students. Point taken. Still, who is it? Pent Heartstorm. A master wizard now. I don't remember him. He was long before your time, my dear. He only visited once after finishing his studies, and I sent for him that time. Really? When was that? When you mother was ill. I summoned all of my old students and everyone I knew who could be of any help. I know you couldn't have done any more than you did. Dammit, that isn't the point! None of us could stop it! We couldn't even identify the source! We failed her. I failed her. Don't... Aluvar and Alyss continue walking, passing a number of stalls and a beggar who sneers at them. Keep walking. I was planning to. Oh. Well, hurry it up a bit. Um, sure. Turn right. Now, follow me! Aluvar dashes down the alleyway with a surprising burst of speed. Alyss is surprised, but quickly catches up to him. What are we doing? You'll see! Aluvar makes a quick right, then another, bringing them towards the same corner they had previously passed. The beggar is now talking to someone dressed in a black cloak. Just as I suspected. What? That's no beggar. Dressed as you are, it's obvious you have money, but he didn't even approach you. Instead he looked at us with hate and now he's talking to that mysterious figure. We're being watched, my dear. Someone knew we were coming. Well, it hasn't exactly been a secret. The King, Sir Kwiras, those soldiers back on the road, they all knew. As did the demon. True. Do you think they're part of all of this? They're part of something, and I intend to find out what. Double back and find Grandoth. Have him at the ready, a couple of streets east of here. I have a plan. On my way. Alyss goes back down the alley. Aluvar continues watching the beggar and his companion, trying to get closer in hopes of overhearing something. Just then, he notices a pink bird sitting directly over the beggar. Aha! Pinky! Always the nosy one, and now it will come in handy! Knowing that the matter is well in hand, Aluvar steps back into the shadows to wait for an opportunity. It comes quickly. The dark figure nods at the beggar and steps away, disappearing into a crowd across the street. Aluvar approaches the beggar, stepping directly in front of him. I say, you're not really a beggar, just what are you? The beggar, knowing that he has been discovered, runs in the opposite direction, into the waiting arms of Grandoth. He struggles a bit, but can't overpower the knight. Alyss smirks at him. So, what do you say we find somewhere quiet to have a little chat about your master. I-I-I have no master. I'm a lowly beggar. We both know that's a lie. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Oh oh, the hard way, please! D-d-don't hurt me! I'd talk, I would, but I can't! I can't! You seem to be doing just fine so far. Tell me what I want to know. M-m-my life. It's no good if I talk to you! Grandoth tightens his grip on the beggar, paying special attention to his neck. How good do you think it is now? I-I-I don't know much. Not here. Not in the street. He's right about that, we're attracting attention we don't need. That's true. Grandoth, perhaps you would be so kind as to escort our guest to the carriage. We'll be there shortly. My pleasure. Aluvar and Alyss depart, walking north until they reach a small bookstore. A bookstore, in a town this size? Of course my dear, there's a wizard in that tower. Right. Bring the product to the nearest available customer. Excellent memory you have. That was one of your first rules of commerce. I'm pleased you remember. I remember everything you taught me. It always seemed like anything I heard you say, I couldn't forget. Aluvar and Alyss enter the dark, musty store. An elderly gentleman is seated behind a desk, holding a quill. Hello, good sir! You look like an educated man, could you be here to buy something? Well, I certainly hope so, why else would I enter a bookstore? You'd be surprised. Those commoners are always coming in looking for fruit or pigs or something. They don't understand. Yes, well, public education is a few hundred years off. I hear you. If it even happens then. Oh, it does. You seem so certain. Erm. Here is my list. Aluvar pulls a small piece of paper out of his pocket and scribbles down a few lines. He hands it to the store owner. Oh my, this is quite a list, but I think we have all of it. I'm sure. We're in a bit of a hurry as well. Yes sir, right away sir. I haven't had a day like this in ages. Doesn't Master Pent visit occasionally? Surely he's a good customer, in such close proximity. Oh no sir, he never leaves the tower. He's too old and frail, the geezer. Too old? He's less than half my age! Is he? That's amazing! Yes, well, I've been lucky. So, you say he is in poor health? That is what the town gossip says, though I don't pay it no mind. Of course not. Those books, if you would be so kind. Right away! The shopkeeper scurries off with surprising speed, invigorated by the promise of payment, returning with a stack of books a few minutes later. If you'll tell me where you're staying, I'll have these delivered. That won't be necessary. Aluvar picks up a nearby chair and whacks the shopkeeper, rendering him unconscious. ALUVAR! What are you doing? You can't rob a kindly old shopkeeper! That's true. Good thing I haven't. You're not making any sense! Look around, my dear. Take in your surroundings. Oh no, not this again. I hate it when you do this. Go on. Fine. Alyss becomes very still, looking at everything around her, listening to the sound, smelling the odors, taking in the shop, detail by detail, remembering all she'd experienced since they entered the shop. She glances at the shopkeeper's slumped body, his hands at his side, his face in a contorted expression. Oh. He isn't the owner of the store. His hands, those are the hands of a farmer. He's never written a thing in his life. From the look of that handwriting, I'd say the real owner is left handed, and he was holding the quill in his right. Did I miss anything? Just a couple of things. Really? I don't see how. Well, for one, I wrote down the name of the birds on that list he dropped when I whacked him. You can just see it from here. Oh, well. For another, that cloak on the wall over there. Same one from earlier! Talking to the beggar! AAAAAH, I can't believe I missed that! Finally, I know the shopkeeper. Known him for years. How could I have known that? You couldn't. Aluvar and Alyss drag the shopkeeper into the backroom and tie him up. He won't talk, it isn't worth waiting for him to wake up. Aluvar digs through the man's pockets, finding a pouch of gold. Ah, it would seem that we are very important to someone. I think I know who. Back to the carriage. What about your books? I didn't want any books. I only came here to hit him in the head. It's a good thing I know you, or I'd take you seriously. I'm being serious. We were being watched. Instead of becoming panicked when we disappeared down that alley, they simply had a little chat and then he wandered off. He knew I would come here, so he arrived first, knocked out the real owner and took his place. Since I knew that they knew that this was the only place I would visit, I did. Yes, I see what you mean. Speaking of which, if you would be so kind as to open that closet. Alyss reaches over and opens the closet. The bound and gagged shopkeeper falls out, glances up at Aluvar, and tries to smile. Hello Lorst, it's been a while. Here, you can use this more than we can, just tell him we took it. Aluvar tosses the pouch of gold next to the still bound shopkeeper. Could you untie him? Oh, right. Alyss unties the shopkeeper who tells them the whole story, which doesn't amount to much more than being hit on the head and waking up in a closet, then they leave. Aluvar and Alyss return to the carriage. The beggar doesn't tell them anything particularly useful, but Pinky fills them in on the details he overheard. Let him go, he is unimportant. We will find an inn and rest for the evening. In the morning, I will go see Pent.
  9. Very cute, and in keeping with Castle Month, and the Fabuland Edge. I would argue that this is FAR from your first Fabuland Edge, the first being here: Great job, and already thumbnailed and indexed!
  10. Sinner: Has the Shouse ever been given a proper thread of it's own? I can't find one, and that would be a shame. On a similar subject: I'm 12 pages in and haven't found another qualifying Fabuland creation yet. I haven't even really found any non-qualifying ones, just unrelated things. Anyone who has created something that they think qualifies, please make a list and either pm me or post it here if you're scared of writing directly. I am also going to take a cue from Copmike and LuxorV, who both suggested fine Fabuland information sites, and add an index of them as well. So, suggestions in that area are also welcome. None of those silly comic sites though, please. Oh, just stop making that face, you know Brickzone.net will be included.
  11. My first tag is empty, if they can be shifted (assuming that isn't some super secret special purpose tag location that you aren't even allowed to discuss, for fear of prosecution). I just thought it would look better having 3 across over 1 under.
  12. Ah yes, that's more like it! You know, she qualifies as a Saint for good reason. I would be honoured! Can it appear as my 4th, so it sits under the other three, allowing for it's immense size? Oh, and please ask Sinner to stop staring at my skirt.
  13. Special request for existing members who post new designs! Please post your creations with the term Fabuland Builders Guild somewhere in the title or description for faster inclusion in the index, and just because it looks better. Special note for non-members who post new designs! As stated previously, MOCs, scenes, and vignettes that include Fabuland figures are not necessarily Fabuland creations. While it is nice to include some Fabuland characters in your work, especially some of the more well known personalities, that's more of a guest appearance and not really Fabuland itself. The idea is to builld something that specifically reflects the Fabuland spirit and style or expands on the concept in a new and unexpected way, like the Fabuland Edge. Please see the index for excellent examples of what we're looking for. Also, bear in mind that not every creation will qualify for inclusion in the index. This isn't a competition, a popularity contest, or a quick ticket to a new tag. It's about love. Love of the Fabuland. Share the love, enjoy the love, spread the love. Don't spoil the love. Go ask Alice. (alternately, I was going to say that I know exactly where to put it and how, but that seemed to open too many new possibilities for the whole conversation to go wrong). Why, yes, there is a chance! Over in the business thread for this whole operation, the one where we were supposed to discuss, you know, the business type stuff, as opposed to the building type stuff, I mentioned that they are planned for a future installment, thusly: I would have posted this there, but someone locked it, so I guess that was that. I'm not sure about archiving entire creations over to brickshelf. Some of you *cough*Hinck*cough* go overboard on the pictures sometimes and I have a slow connection. Well, I'm not sure that I'm the sole discretionary body when it comes to what qualifies, but it certainly does. As I work my way back through the threads, I'll keep an eye out for it. If I remember the tugboat correctly, and it was the one that included you putting the moves on a lamb, it might qualify for honourable mention.
  14. A sinister foot! That's a great idea! I'll incorporate it soon! Thanks! Oh, and I'm heading due north for a long time, with no detours expected (ha, I bet things won't go so smoothly), so I doubt you'll run into the main party. However, you might meet up with Bluervo on his way back. I wonder what's keeping him...
  15. K-18 Crown Castle Throne Room King Tiberius is meeting with his council of three. Holcroft and Parn, looking old and tired, are seated to his left. Vrend is across the room, pacing. Someone is spying from outside. I am beside myself with fear. There can be no good to come of any of this... We have issued orders to the men, they will find her. What if something terrible has happened? What am I saying? Of course something terrible has happened, that's all there is anymore... My lord. This has all been a great strain on you. Perhaps you should cut back on your responsibilities, allow us to deal with some of these issues. Yes... maybe I should... Tap, tap, tap, a faint tapping at the partially open window. Oh, I say... a bird at the window. Parn goes over and opens it a bit more to get a better look. What? Who cares? Go away, you stupid bird! Vrend begins to cross the room, intending to put action behind his words. Stupid bird? I'll tell you who's a stupid bird! What? I know, that didn't really make much sense. It's some kind of sorcery! The best kind, he's one of Aluvar's! Aluvar... Come here, bird, you must have a message for me! I could use word from my dear friend! Finally, the sun may shine through this gloomy that surrounds me! Yes, your majesty! I say, he's polite enough. Bluervo flies over, landing on the arm of the King's throne. Ah, I see it here. The King reaches over and removes the vial from Bluervo's neck, retrieves the note and begins reading. Ah, yes, I should have known. You aren't upset? Upset? This is fantastic news! Yes, absolutely fantastic! Well, of course it is. I knew how pleased you'd be, that's why I flew all this way! Bluervo glances over at Vrend and can't help but feel that they've met before, and he wasn't impressed by the experience. That wasn't exactly the entire message, your majesty. Aluvar was in a hurry and added a portion he didn't feel safe entrusting to paper, a portion that I am to share with you... privately. Oh, this is ridiculous! You're talking to a bird and now he wants to speak privately! Vrend storms across the room, approaching the throne. This bird and his master are my business, and just maybe I need to make a point of attending to things personally after all. You are dismissed, Vrend! As are you, Holcroft and Parn. We'll speak later. Yes, your majesty. As you wish, my lord. BAH! Vrend storms out of the room ahead of the others. Once everyone has left, Bluervo leans in towards the King. What is this additional message? There isn't really one. Well, not from Aluvar. It's just... well... I have a feeling. A feeling? Tell me more. There is a traitor in the castle. Maybe more than one. Trust no one. I thought as much and have felt it myself. This invasion is being coordinated from within these very walls, I know it. That is why I need your help. My help? Yours. You're the only, um, person I can trust. Person. Well. You know what I mean. I do. What is it you wish of me? The King and Bluervo speak quietly for quite some time and then part company, each with a plan.
  16. Let's just say that you won't be running into very many people, so it's probably best that you aren't a travelling salesman anymore. I'd try getting those arrows blessed, you might need 'em.
  17. The Revolution Has Begun. I've indexed the entire first page! I actually intend to thumbnail them as well, but that's all down the road. For now, I'll be working on the actual indexing. I'll be using the * system to indicate the latest additions to the index (but I can't mark the original threads without posting, which would be incredibly spammy, so it will be interesting). Good thing I'm organized. Since Hinck is clearly the President and Founder of the Guild, I'll be counting on him to a supply a bigger logo (I've never seen one that small... forget it, I'm not going there ) and keep me updated on new membership additions. Please make any suggestions about the Index/Discussion thread here so we can keep from cluttering it up with business and obscuring it's real purpose. As a matter of fact, I will rename this thread tonight, to indicate it's new use. I'll leave it for now, so as not to confuse anyone looking for it. Inspiration, Information, Innovation
  18. Welcome to the home of the Fabuland Builders Guild, henceforth referred to as the FBG (by me). Here, we will discuss Fabuland creations, provide helpful tips and hints, present works in progress, and even take your questions and comments about the theme and the parts that it includes. If you're a fan, or would like to become one, this is the place to be. To see the Index of the Fabuland Builders Guild, which contains MOCs, comics, decals, set reviews and other useful links, please visit The Index Thread. Inspiration, Information, Innovation
  19. Our favourite dwarf and giant troll have made a small detour, visiting the EB RP thread, which, if I do say so myself, is a really fun read. For those of you not following it, it's basically Castle roleplay in the form of an ongoing story in which all of the Castle factions are represented, with characters played by the members of EB. I'm Aluvar, a 190yr old wizard with 4 talking birds who may be a bit of a time traveller, we haven't really been too specific about that... yet. You should take a look at it, but even if you don't, here is the excerpt of their visit to the ongoing story with Aluvar in green, Lord Kenneth of the Black Knights in blue, and a small boy in orange: Silly, isn't it? Now go join in, it's Castle Month, in case you've been hiding in a cave or something! Last one in is a rotten drognor!
  20. Adding a new thread to my efforts, Bluervo, the talking bird, is currently out visiting spots of interest, talking to people, delivering messages and impersonating fictional ravens. I tell you, it's so much fun, I ought to send all the birds on missions. Next stop for him, Crown Castle and a meeting with the King, who will not be happy at all. From there? Mystery, intrigue, romance! Well, he might stop at that pub with the barkeep who has the parrot and ... oh, nevermind. I suspect we will as well, even if we have to save him from something too.
  21. L-17 Castle Kwiras Midnight Sir Kwiras stared off into the distance, papers and maps spread out before him. I've got to make some sense of all this. Reports of missing villagers, random attacks by undead forces, and now my own son has disappeared! This must all be related! Kwiras slammed his fist on the desk with a resounding thud. Tap, tap, tap, a sound came from his tower window, already closed for the night. He peered out into the pitch black sky, unable to see anything that would explain the sound. Perhaps someone at the door? He flung open the door, finding no one. Tap, tap, tap, louder, and from a different direction this time. This is quite maddening. Oh, how I miss my dear Lenore. She always had a way of calming these frayed nerves. Tap, tap, tap, louder still and coming from ... the roof? Oh, this is getting ridiculous. Kwiras crossed the floor and threw open the window. Looking out and upward toward the roof, he saw the source of his vexation. A dark bird. A raven? Oh, no, it's just me, Bluervo. A talking bird? You must be part of Aluvar's band. Aluvar has a band? Who sings? What? Nothing. Aren't you going to invite me in? Oh, ahem, yes, do come in. Thanks! I have a message for you. What about? I have no idea, it's in this vial around my neck, though I suspect it's about a village we found. Deserted, fires crackling, food cooking, nothing distubed, but no one there? That's incredible! You should be on TV. On what? Nothing. Maybe you should read the note. Yes, I think so. You know, you lot are peculiar, all of you. I know. We like it that way. You would. Kwiras retrieves the vial and slides out a small paper which he begins to read. Maybe you could read it aloud? I wouldn't mind knowing what it says too. Oh, well, I suppose so. "Sir Kwiras," that's me. I knew that. Right. "Found a deserted village. Suspect unnatural causes, perhaps a black wraith demon. No time to investigate, will try to deal with along the way. -Aluvar." Well, that was short. Pretty much says it all. I suppose it does. Wait... there's a second note in here. It says I'm supposed to read it aloud. Oh good, fire away. Huh? Whatever. "Please send Bluervo to Crown Castle with the following message: Alyssta is with me. Don't worry, it is her destiny." SQUAWK! What does that mean? Pretty much just that I don't really want to deliver that message, the King will probably want me cooked for dinner, and I'm really going to have a word with Aluvar when I return. That's quite a compact language you have. It is. Actually, I left out the four seperate times that I cursed his soul and where I impuned his parentage. I see. Thank you for skipping all that. Sure, no problem. Well, if I'm going to Crown Castle, I'd better get started first thing in the morning. I think he means for you to go now. You would think that. Fine. Shall you return this way in the future? Nevermore! Bluervo flies out the window and off into the night. Sir Kwiras scratches his head, pondering this latest message, it's method of delivery, Aluvar, the Princess and her destiny, and many other things until he finally nods off to sleep at his desk.
  22. Been building up a few Pirate, Paradisa and minifig auctions off eBay. Matter of fact, it's a lot easier now that the Pirate forum features links to eBay auctions, at the bottom of it's pages, and it's a good way to show your support for the theme. Found some deals I wouldn't have known about otherwise. Pirates (and Paradisa) On!
  23. Well, if a couple more people pop up wanting it... consider me in.
  24. Alice (I seriously doubt that's her real name) and I were discussing Pirates and Paradisa and other interesting themes when she came to a decision. She wants a pirate ship. Now one might think, "well, that's no problem, there are lots to choose from," but she isn't your average girl and she doesn't come to average decisions. Oh no. So, after a bit of research, she decided that she wants a real historical ship, with a real historical Captain. A decidedly female Captain. One thing led to another, and honestly, I love the idea, so I suggested recreating a variety of female Pirates in LEGO form. Some will require custom torsos, some are in skirts, others are simply a matter of using the right stock parts. Additionally, I plan to offer custom flags and other details as appropriate. Today, I bring you the first of these "Pirate Princesses" (a term coined by a website that came up during the initial research phase of the project). I should add that this will cover a larger base of operations than the traditional Pirate line, as evidenced by our first selection, a notorious Irish Pirate by the name of Grace O'Malley. Why was she first? I found the absolute perfect head for her and the rest could be done with stock parts. She's purist in every way, except for her flag decal. As with most people, her clothing varied from day to day, so it would be easy to represent her in a number of ways. As it is, the traditional female pirate torso matched some known images, though I may do a cross between the present one and the standard castle equivalent at some point to more closely resemble the one shown in the source pic below. I have a feeling, from what I've seen so far, that the style was quite popular amongst our ladies of the sea. And her flag (ok, I don't think it's real, but it's certainly in a style that was used, and has some interesting elements that could easily fit in). Created for a 2x2 flag. There is no record of a larger one to work from, but if you know of one, please post accordingly. Same with her family crest. I can't seem to pinpoint a really good shot of it. Both my standard "jagged" form, and an antialiased one. Honestly, I bet the jagged prints better, but I aim to please. So, there you have it, the first in what should be a long line of female Pirate Captains from around the world. As always, comments and criticisms appreciated, as well as suggestions for future entries in the line (but please, if you're going to suggest someone, bring along your research and link me to some quality pictures). Thanks for looking, and sail on!
  25. With the recent increase in Fabuland creations (in the style that I am now referring to as Fabuland Deluxe), which has resulted in much joy and the , I think it's about time it had a home of it's own. No, I'm not suggesting an entire subforum, that's overkill, but I do think that it would be nice to see two small things: 1. Fabuland added to the list of "Other Themes" as mentioned in the index. I mean, seriously, when was the last meaningful Ferrari discussion held in here? 2. A pinned Fabuland Builders Guild thread, where the members could post their WIP, take questions and comments, and offer tips to fans of the theme. Perhaps the first post could also serve as an index of creations. Fabuland offers a number of unique parts that simply don't exist outside of it, yet are compatible with standard system creations, and can be incorporated, as the Guild members have shown, with great success. That can lead to confusion, or simply a lack of knowledge, and such a thread might offer a place to get an answer, without spamming up the forum with 1000 little threads. For example, prior to looking closely at a recent creation, I didn't realise that there are special shutters in the theme, shutters that I am now in with . Somehow, this makes sense to me, but I realise that it will create a certain amount of work for someone, so I could understand if the idea is discarded as too much effort, I just thought I'd share it.
