  1. That would be me. Underpants is such a funny word.
  2. I don't speak on behalf of the staff, but I can tell you now... no. No. No. Noooo. No. No. Classic-Pirates supports the forum, it's own website, a blog, contests, a youtube account and a number of other things, some that haven't been seen yet. It needs a large staff and Admiral Crazypants Phes has been working diligently to insure that all of it can run smoothly as he takes a less active role in pursuit of some other interests. This forum does not need a similar structure just so people can have new, fancy ranks. Simple as that. Or, as they say in the business, "don't call us, we'll call you." If, however, you'd like to devote the time and effort, the Reviewer's Academy is always looking for students to finish their gold training and begin to pitch in as teachers and the Star Wars forum is in need of many quality reviews to fill in the review index, those would be greatly appreciated.
  3. No Yes Brick Right here, so I'll go ahead and lock this. Feel free to continue any necessary discussion there.
  4. Good job, Wouwie, even if you were a rat!
  5. Oooh, nice, I'll take that, I'm good with these things. I'd like to use the built in screen to review the pictures and any video it may contain, and I'll keep the cable in case we need to connect it to a tv at some point.
  6. Well, it didn't change Wynona or Perry's guilt either, so no harm done.
  7. *finds a note on the floor* Don't ask me.
  8. Fellow? We can't even manage to convince anyone that you're male, Mary Joan Zabrina.
  9. Anyone can post anything and claim it's from Iris, further, it's bad form. Privately, I could see someone doing it if they were really needing to clarify something, but in public, and that much, I don't like it ... To provide an example of why this is a bad idea, let's read an alternate version of the arrest: All too easy.
  10. Stop trying that, he's specifically saying you were split up and he asked what you did in the other room. It doesn't get any clearer than that. One of you is lying here, and you're the one who can't seem to even decide what you do at night. A good point. There is a logic to it, one rat keeps us busy, the other signals the feds and boom, suddenly it's all gone to hell. Let's find the rat in this operation and then take a closer look at the rest of the possibilities before moving on. Maybe we can finish the job right here, if there are only 2 left. I think it's almost time to start voting. We have as much information as we can hope to get, don't we? Maybe someone would like to say something important before it's too late. I will be making one more pm before I vote, however, just to try to answer a nagging question.
  11. Agreed. That makes me a bit suspicious of LeAnn who also went through a serious "it's him! no, it's her! no, it's..." phase confusing everyone. I do feel that I can vouch for Inertiateri's efforts, I witnessed them once and he was, in fact, trying to counter Perry the rat. Got nothing there. Not overly bright at times, but that isn't really suspicious. I don't think she was chosen for her brains, if you know what I mean (and certainly no offense intended). Shame our various forms of investigators haven't helped the matter any with evidence. I'm sure we have a peeping tom who knows if people stay home or not and we're likely to have a more subtle form of investigator than Zabrina turned out to be, yet they don't seem to be able to help us finish this job with some clues. I hope they haven't gone bad. So he says, but where was he when Zabrina ended the day practically begging to be protected? The next day, she was dead and he was here. I'm not sure I buy his claim, especially since I recall him being vague and somewhat confusing about it in the first place. Literally, I'd like to see where anyone has been protected or helped by him. He's #1 on my list. He's definitely the most suspicious made man, and that's where I think we need to be looking, given the lack of an exposed rat in that group and the number of them still alive. No rats out of 5? Highly unlikely. Or he didn't want to stick his neck out for another rat, even his wife. Then again, referring back to what we've been told, the rats don't know each other (or didn't, depending on whether you believe that note or not, the note that seemed to make Stanton look bad when he wasn't), so maybe he didn't defend her because he didn't know what side she was on. That basically means we don't know where he stands, what he does at night or who for. Same deal as Pavarti, our investigators and spies seem to have failed us so far. Let's hear something, investigators, spies, peeping toms, whatever you are, we have a prime opportunity to finish this job soon. We can't be far off the goal, let's get it done.
  12. A very nice job! You have been blogged at Classic-Town.net
  13. He might be pickled in some corner for all we know. I, for one, am glad he was an old lush.
  14. Another operation gone bad. Last time, we netted that rat Wynona out of it. Let's try to do that again, after we hear what they have to say. It better be good.
  15. If you were looking to avoid nuts, you've come to the wrong party... Now, leave my gin alone. I left a perfectly good bottle of port for you lightweights.
  16. I think it's fair to believe what Perry said early in the game, given his inside knowledge: the rats don't automatically know each other. For all we know, he could have been killed by rats and the second person is loyal, or the opposite. I don't think it would be wise to assume that all 3 visitors are loyal, who ever heard of a night killed with an accomplice? As for judging anything based on visual loyalties, don't bother. Just because someone said they didn't trust him doesn't mean they aren't a rat, we'd never be able to tell with the hidden voting. It's a cheap and easy way to score false points in something like this, looking like you were opposed to the recently exposed rat. Personally, I never decided on him one way or the other but I'm curious who did, since someone had the ability to kill him. As for Inertiateri, as far as I know, he blocked Perry night after night, but does that prove anything? All it means is that while Perry was trying to protect someone, Inertiateri stopped him from doing so, which would be the perfect cover for a couple of rats who don't know who else is on their side. Sure, protect someone and gain their trust, even though no actual protecting is being done since it's blocked. At the same time, if one of them is caught, they can point at the other and say, "look, he must be bad!" Where does that leave us? I'm bit stumped. I still don't trust Richie, but there isn't enough there to satisfy me and the death of Perry seems to satisfy the "rat in the Captains" quota for now. I think it's time to turn our attention to the last group without a rat, the made men.
  17. I'll look in all the glasses, check the platters for engraving or any hidden notes, obviously I'm going to check out the whiskey and slip the gin in my pocket for later, then I'll move on to the glass bits on top, peering under the white cloth and then to the small red dragon, carefully examining all of it's fine details for anything helpful. If I don't find something, I'll accidentally drop kick that sweet little dragon into the fireplace. Anyone like some port? *immediately begins showing everyone his recorded video of the hilarious event* You know, Max, for some reason this video makes you look even shorter than usual. Perhaps one of you lot could work out that pesky code, they make my head spin and I end up wanting another drink. Another drink? Don't mind if I do! He's a lush. Yeah, but he's got a cool hat. That he does.
  18. Welcome to EB, TLV, and what a nice introduction you've made by sharing one of your creations. It's very well done at a mid-sized scale, maybe a robotic drone that minifigs could send out to do battle or scout an area (with a less conspicuous colour scheme, of course). Thanks for sharing this and feel free to do a full introduction here if you'd like.
  19. YES! Another rat down! As always, it's tainted by the loss of one of our own, but hey, there must be more of us than them, so we're still on the right track. I had my suspicions about Perry, but every time I would start to try to explore them, we would end up down some other path. I can't say I'm too surprised, really, though what was with all those people? As Iris said, please feel free to make yourselves comfortable in my break room, first round is on me. We'll drink to Stanton.
  20. Joan used to say he had a hard time getting it up when she wanted... Whatever that means.
  21. Did you know that we have a site guideline that says that images shouldn't be over 800x600 and that we prefer you limit yourself to 640x480 for the sake of the variety of connections people use to visit this site? You do now. Please adjust accordingly (and it'll take some of the blur out of a few of your shots, which is always a nice side effect). Thanks!
  22. Right! Let's go from there. What you're doing is cutting out everything beyond the middle seams, which is making your figure way too narrow. You need to keep in mind that in order to do something thinner, you still have to meet certain points along the side. A better way to explain is just to provide an example. In this case, the breasts would need to be raised somewhat, but you get the idea. I like it.
  23. I believe one was shown as part of the initial "modular" announcement. It was nice but a little drab as I recall. I could see it possible for less than Green Grocer. I'd take that. I'd also take a generic store with a private detective's office over it and the introduction of a decent window system finally. I'm going to build that one myself, eventually. Hope we have a dark bley fedora by then. I think most of those would be more than the firehouse, except the post office or a basic bookstore, which would be similar in price. I'm pretty much happy with whatever they do as long as it's modular quality as opposed to Market Street (Factory) quality. Just didn't impress me like the others.
