Love it! I'll agree with the sentiment that for an unlicensed theme it's a little overpriced, but that won't stop me from picking up this whole line (not at TRU, however). Do wish they'd include either a crop, even in minimal quantities or maybe some fencing though. Thanks for a fine review, Liquidcross!

Well, you're taking on quite a challenge here, but at least you won't get tired of looking at the source material. As LuxorV has stated, LEGO figures are wide. Lara is long and sleek and close to having one of those Barbie-type impossible figures. Finding a satisfactory LEGO representation will be a serious trick. The real proportion problem will be neck to cleavage to waist. I just tried a quick one based on my old halter top. Some mentioned that it reminded them of Lara at the time, but I had to signifigantly raise her breastline to even come close, and it wasn't going well. It's funny, there just isn't enough of her to satisfy LEGO width and too much for LEGO length. What do you do in that case? Fake it! Aim for something that captures the spirit and general form of the subject, especially giving extra attention to any details you can fit in, and just wing it for the rest. She's aging well, though. Good luck, and good to see you back at the customizing game!

Mystery Manor - Chapter Four
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Seems Chester was a naughty lad, up to no good. Plans for expansion can't possibly be something that frightful dragon group would approve of. Hmmm... so perhaps Mr. Dunne has another reason for being invited after all, potential construction work. I wonder if anything had been done already, maybe accidentally uncovering something or causing a problem that attracted the attention of the friendly neighbourhood dragon psychopaths. No offence intended, of course, Mr. Dragonateri, er... whatever. So now we have half a charm to look for, some more architectural drawings, oh, and that pesky body to find, if there even is one. Yes, this is going along smashingly. Suppose I can take a break from playing to inspect that glass-fronted cabinet on the south wall. Perhaps someone would inspect the long sideboard? Anyone else notice that Dr. Phil wasn't running so quickly for the hanging light-source in here? -
LEGO Licensed Themes MOC and Review Index Discussion Thread
Shadows replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
Massive Indexing in Progress. If your moc isn't indexed in the next day or so, there are a few potential reasons: It isn't a moc, it's a mod. Mods are nice but rarely worth a full indexing. Some exceptions make it, but not many. It isn't a moc, it's a vignette with mostly people standing around. We all own minifigs, it's nice to display them, but it isn't a moc unless you add some scenery or an unusual twist. Huge/blurry pictures. I like my eyesight and plan to keep it. Fix 'em! No pics. At least they aren't huge, but even more difficult to index. Too many things in one thread. If it isn't worth it's own thread, it probably isn't worth indexing. If you've posted something large in with other things and none of them are indexed, you may start a new, seperate thread about any you feel are worthy. Individually. I missed it. Oops. In the event of any of these, please feel free to make any necessary corrections and notify me IN THIS THREAD. The updates are slow and infrequent due to my connection speed, so, as always, don't get jumpy, I'll get to you... eventually. A special word of thanks to WhiteFang for keeping up the review portion of the index. Thanks! MOC ON! -

*opens the small wooden chest and takes out a cigar which he lights with the nearby lighter ... after a couple of puffs, a glass of wine is poured from the handy decanter nearby and placed, on a coaster, on top of the piano* I'll inspect the piano and then sit down and enjoy my cigar and wine while entertaining the group a bit. Odd, there's no piano seat. Well, I'll drag one of these chairs over, I guess. Damn inconsiderate having a piano and no seat. *sits down and plays "As Time Goes By"* -
As a longtime fan of flamethrowers, I'd say this is a great job, definitely hot! Next time, perhaps we could get a time lapse shot of him flaming a zombie that turns into a skeleton and then a black skeleton.

Just like Hinck to let us suffer longer by giving us the bad news quickly. Edited to add: *teaches Tiny Tim to play baseball or rubs Buddha's belly or something* I didn't realise it was locked when I hit reply. -

Aside from Blue's note, which is public, the other bits are of a sensitive nature and will remain private. Revealing information that isn't necessary only weakens the potential for people to do the jobs they need to do. Trust me, if this is wrong, the reason will be figured out and the guilty will be discovered, but it's what we've got right now. It isn't my reasoning, it wasn't even my idea initially, but I must admit, part of the blame goes to you. You're an experienced player in this game ... of life, and you appear to have done absolutely nothing to even vaguely try to help in this important situation we face. That makes you look suspicious, and right now, suspicion plays a major part in our ability to make any decisions since we're being given so many contradictory facts.

Oh cool, I hadn't seen the mega-sized one by Rocko. Where has he been lately? We love Rocko around here, wish he'd come back and share his latest stuff, it's always amazing.

My favourite, by far. I picture the light area being cobblestone road and off in the distance, a bobby blows his whistle and shines his lantern in the direction of the commotion down the street, but all he sees are moving shadows. Good stuff! I can see where this concept could be very useful for a certain mafia experience.

The Baritones 2 Introduction & Discussion Thread

As opposed to the official bear of moonlight. Editorial Note: I find it slightly disheartening that 'gangster' doesn't just bring up the traditional results I would expect anymore. I am officially old now. -
Believe me, there is a list of best prospects, but in this game ... of life, it's impossible to plan too far ahead, as I've already learned on previous nights. It's almost like some demented divine spirit is fiddling with things while we sleep. You do realise that of all the groups, the only one we haven't explored thus far are the Captains. Statistically, there's a rat in there as well as in another group that has, thus far, been rat-free. Perhaps you'll begin to see where I'm looking now.

Unless you believe in reincarnation, I see no sense in this. Or maybe you're confessing, given your own ancestor and his ways? Shall we convict all who were once part of that sad situation forever? I seem to think that Dragonateri bears a striking resemblance to the madman in charge of that asylum, and Piav seems all too familar as well. Zabrina reminded me of the maid. Bad maid, loyal Zabrina. See the problem with your silly comment? Do you, perhaps, mean the Rotrigous Gambit, the infamous "If I'm wrong, kill me next!" one? Oh hell no. He was one crazy old man, but he only used that when he knew with absolute certainty. Sadly, in this game ... of life, there is no such thing, and I'll be the first to admit it. So I will take this challenge instead: Whoever can produce ABSOLUTE information to prove someone's guilt will have my vote tomorrow, no matter who it is, no matter how much I think they can be trusted. Problem is, it isn't going to happen. These days have been wide open to suggestion, speculation or proof, and no one has a better one right now. It's unlikely anyone will tomorrow given the loss of Zabrina. As it is, I have one secret up my sleeve, one that can vouch for me without hesitation. I also know enough about most of you that I could destroy this family in a series of chain reactions right now, yet it hasn't and won't happen for the good of the family. Three of you know very clearly what I mean there, but you're loyal and your personal problems are just that, personal. Enough with this madness. If you haven't the balls to vote for Stanton, perhaps Zabrina got to you first with her favourite tool. I won't even ask what happened to your inane mathematical calculations in which we learned that of all the groups, the fronts are currently the least likely to contain a rat. Seriously, whatever. Maybe it's a good thing that Inertiateri keeps blocking you every night after all.

Mystery Manor - Index and Disscusion Thread
Shadows replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I was channeling the spirit of Zabrina and Anthony interrupted wanting to know if this qualifies as tomorrow. I'm not asking, it's him. Ut oh, he's talking to the corpses now. That isn't so bad. Really? No, what's bad is they're talking back. WHISKEY! MAKE MINE A DOUBLE, BARTENDER! -
Well, sure, I can do that. Let's see... ZABRINA WAS A LOYAL INVESTIGATOR AND NOW SHE'S DEAD! I'm sorry, this whiskey is getting to me. I get so upset when people ask me stupid questions. It's like I'm ready to explode sometimes. See, we need a majority to vote for the same person, or we're going to just be sitting here until the rats kill all of us. A couple of people in the group (at least), are just fine with that because they've already sold their filthy souls to the feds for protection. The rest of us would rather use this time to deal with that problem. We've been given a variety of helpful tools to determine who we can and can not trust. At night, some of us use those and learn things that we're able to analyze to determine who we trust and who we don't. This job has been done by the adults and now we just need everyone to come together and act like a family to make a stand against the rats. From the dull look on your face, you're not getting this, are you? Fine. Let me see if I can make this easier for you. *walks over to Zabrina's corpse* :skull: Excuse me. Zabrina. Zabrina! I need to ask you a question. Um, could you possibly explain to that numbskull over there why you suspected Stanton. Oh, thanks! So, you were heading to ... oh, right, and you wanted to twist off his ... ah, yes, can we skip that part? Right, so someone killed you to stop that, but YES! YES ZABRINA! You warned us in advance and now we have the opportunity to take advantage of that. It's all so clear to anyone with a brain, go back to sleep now. Well, you know what I mean. So there you go. Did you catch all of that? I think she explained it quite clearly. ANY MORE QUESTIONS FOR THE LOYAL DEAD INVESTIGATOR?
-
Remember: As it is, some of you will lie and vote for someone else, then come on here and say you're with the family. We don't just need a visible majority, we need every damn vote we can get to make up for the rats. Vote early, vote often, vote Baritone! As I recall, everyone ended up innocent in that one, even that creepy guy with the smokin' megablok'd wife. What kind of host do you take Iris to be, a complete jackass who would do something like that?
-
I discovered that Pedro was keeping the good whiskey for himself. *pours a large one for Dragonateri* Anyone need a little confidence booster to come on board and take care of this problem?
-
Oh great, it must be that time again, Iris is getting cranky... What? I meant tax season. We Baritones always get a little cranky at tax season after what they did to Great-Grandpa Al. Stanton.
-
It's cute and all, but honestly, why are these things popping up suddenly? The M8 first appeared in 2007 or so, why the sudden resurgance of interest? I remember making a mommy/daddy droid joke about it years ago now and had larger versions to represent them. Well, whatever. Oh, and it's Don Solo, as I recall.
-
Ah. Well, LeAnn makes nice clothes, but she's nutty as a fruitcake. I see why I was confused, she hit lucky on Boyd and I started taking her ramblings a bit more seriously, but ... I just voted for Stanton. Zabrina wanted it, she was loyal, that's good enough for me.
-
That's good enough for me. Seems she had her reasons, I'm willing to take a gamble, if everyone else is. Making moves? Look here, lady, when I make moves, the ladies line up for the dance. I haven't given you so much as a wink. Oddly enough, I do trust you at the moment, so I won't get angry, I'll just sit back and enjoy my drink. Could you provide something showing that she was suspicious of him, I don't recall that (though honestly, he's on my uncertain list).
-
Interesting, considering that someone else has indicated that they're in the same position, and proven it to me by telling something only a witness could know. Right back where we were... can there be two loyal peeping toms? Grrrr... I'm getting confused. And annoyed. I need a drink! *grabs a bottle and sits down*
-
I'm not trying to lead anything with this suggestion, just ask for opinions and useful information, here or by pm. We still have plenty of discussion time, assuming there aren't any more unexpected surprises popping up.

You just couldn't handle losing your Rotrigous.
