  1. But I did find this lovely bottle of whiskey I'd previously missed! Shall we retire to the bedroom now? Hey Mr. Reading Comprehension! I said unkilled thus insinuating that perhaps the weights shifted back to their previous positions and lifted the chandelier back into place. Guardian schmardian. You pay attention to him, I think he's just a big joke, like that Dragon chap over there...
  2. Looks great! I'll reserve a lot of comments until the next update, since you'll strangle me if I suggest what everyone else already did. On a similar note... damn fine luggage rack. I didn't realise that yellow briefcases existed and now I find they're hard to get, though reasonably priced if you happen to need something from one of their sellers. Which I don't. Oh, and it's good to see you're "keeping it real", as the kids say... Indy Han shot first. One last comment before I stop making comments I wasn't going to make. Who does one have to beg for a train door template? I don't know that I'll ever design a train door, but I'd sure love the option. You know, you really need to get more concussions, you're producing an amazing amount of stuff right now.
  3. I can't speak for what Hinck might be interested in, but I'm cheap and always looking for a bargain. At the moment, I have a whopping 13 (not counting duplicates). I'm really picky about condition, so all but one are literally perfect. I've been buying up all sorts of odds and ends planning for my first real FabuMoc, but it's still a work in progress, so it would depend on a lot of things. I imagine they would sell one way or the other in B/S/T/F, so it couldn't be a bad effort to make (and it's always fun searching).
  4. Ok, you asked for honest input. My favourites. I like to think of them as the Steampunk versions of Alexander Graham Bell and his mistress. I wouldn't change a thing with either unless you did something I've never really seen before... side decals. That vest would look amazing with side and back decals, though I know it's bound to be a lot of effort and alignment hell. Whatever the case, they're both very good as is. The other two. White torso doesn't work for me. The curves and lines just feel mostly misplaced. I can't really explain it any other way. I also hate her Dickie hair, but I assume that's a transitory detail, subject to change. Please. The other one gives the impression that it's trying to be sheer from the midpoint to just under the straps, which is a lovely idea but not entirely realistic. I doubt that was the intent, but it's how it looks. Part of the problem is that it is very splotchy, like you tried to apply too much shading and the printer wasn't capable of handling it. That about covers it. Your final score:   That isn't bad at all, considering how much new stuff you're trying out.
  5. They're cute. I really wish someone from TLG would look at things like this and realise that they need a new intermediary line to carry kids from Duplo to System. I also wish they'd realise just how incredibly ugly Duplo figures are and that 4 Juniors sucks. I think they figured out the latter one on their own, actually. I would imagine that there is a large supply of damaged figures out there that would be perfect for some revitalizing, if we could only find a way to tap it.
  6. *leaves the room for a moment, returning with his jacket and an unwedgied megablocks* From the sound of it, I think you just unkilled Anthony Blackwater... If that's the case and this level worked the falling chandelier *glances over at Dr. Phil* then the killer may have stood exactly where Max is and pulled it. And now Max has brilliantly obliterated any fingerprints we could have taken from it. Good job, Max! *claps* Honestly though, I have two problems with that theory. One, someone would have to be able to tell where Anthony was standing to know when to pull the lever. Two, if one of us is the killer, we clearly must have an accomplice who could be here to pull that level. Oh, three. I don't know if that's what the lever even does for certain. Might I run back and check, quickly? And could I accidentally elbow Max in the back while I'm running by?
  7. Since our host, such as he is, seems to be missing, I'll do some more stuff and really give him a fun time catching up. After completing all the previous tasks, I'd like to look under all the chests and barrels for blood, papers or anything else that might be hidden there or attached to them. Then I'd like to pick up the barrels and throw them at Max as he plays Mario to my Donkey Kong. It'll be amusing. He's been locked in this house too long. Yeah, but he's right, it'll be amusing. You've been locked in this house too long. Oh shut up.
  8. I never have taken a picture of the real one since I can't decide on the right hat. It's always the hat, and with those ears, it's tricky. Maybe a bicorne. I do have the solid white one. I do too. I keep it in a jar. :skull: The last time I heard that ... *puts Mr. Bear on the old Bricklink shopping list* Foxes are closer.
  9. I do have an alternate Fabuland sigfig I've never used... don't make me unleash him upon this faint hearted audience.
  10. Great job, Aliencat! Nice new tag and title too, well deserved. I fully intend to steal that corner base technique, so count on seeing it somewhere eventually. And I can just fix the blog link at Classic-Town.net to reflect the new thread.
  11. Happy birthday, Rayman! Hope you have a great one and get plenty of exciting stuff!
  12. I hope you brought enough for everyone, it looks delicious.
  13. Hellooooooo Kitty!
  14. Maybe we should have some respect and cover the body? Max, you stay here and cover the body. If he tries anything, yell. Yeah, if you're the kind of person who just happens to have a medieval army staying with you. I'd like to examine all of those various bits of nasty metalwork to determine if one of them is the murder weapon and then pop open that chest just to the right of the door, just in case Chester hid a nice bottle of something in there. I'm getting a bit thirsty with all this walking about. The good doctor will undoubtedly take a look at that candelabra, since it's the closest thing to a chandelier in the room. Maybe someone could hold it upside-down for him?
  15. Alert the media! Oh no, that would be Staudie. Don't alert the media! You have me confused with Dragonator, and it's still a perfectly suited title as we've just seen. I actually moved out of the creepy black castle. The neighbours were overly friendly and kept showing up with torches and pitchforks every time I had a little experiment going. I'm fairly sure they were trying to invite me to a BBQ or something, but that can really throw you off schedule.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks, Colonel! We're always glad to have another adult member here (we don't use the term mature for obvious reasons that will go nameless. ). Speaking of which... Yes they are. And cellulose acetate, so they warped easily. Ah, the good old days. Excellent choices! Again, it's a pleasure to have you here, I hope you thoroughly enjoy our little site.

  20. Star Wars: Imperial Officers / Uniforms The versatility of these designs comes in their many variations. Using the supplied versions or the blanks and add-on parts located at the bottom of this post, you should be able to create virtually any Imperial officer ever documented. If you intend to use water slide decals, work from a white design and apply it to whatever colour torso you wish. To create the personalized design you need, simply find a picture of the officer you'd like to create, pick the appropriate base uniform, colour it in the necessary colour (if using paper decals) and add the rank bar to match. 22. Same reason you invited me, you don't get enough punishment in your life. And yes, attic, please!
  23. Have a great one and remember: you're only as old as you feel, so pick who you feel carefully. Mandy Lori Ann, for a guy with three girls names, you really don't mind pushing your luck.
  24. In a world where people call cars sexy, I can't really see how anyone could be puzzled by appreciation of the female form in it's theoretical LEGO representation. Not to mention my biker babe and halter top decals. Exactly. LEGO figures, especially in the realm of licensed themes, are meant to represent real people. If you can't look at their LEGO form and decide what they would look like for real, you clearly lack the kind of imagination that CPB and I have. Lucky you.
