  9. Since the good Dr. hasn't... I'll check that blasted chandelier, but if it falls, I swear I'll come back and haunt you all more than I do now. He'd do it, too. Wouldn't be the first time. Shhh... secret! Oh, right!
  10. If I pulled while you were in the air, but I pulled while you were in the bounce process, which is technically the point where your feet are touching the bed and you're about to go up. Don't make me ask another question.
  11. Or in LEGO parlance, a 'pixie cap'... a term I'd never heard before. This thread can be educational, too.
  12. I only like 3 kinds of indices... tutorials, decals, reviews. I think most people will vote yes, but only because they think it's better to have something than not to, even if they don't use it. The real test is views. If it isn't getting big views, it isn't worth the effort.
  13. Interesting letter. Seems Anthony was heavily involved in all this and clearly they both knew that the dragon freaks weren't going to be happy. Where to next? I'd like to pull the sheet out from under him as he's bouncing. Hilarity ensues.

    9v Planes

If I want a new title, I can just go make it. Sort of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it? I want to see someone else's LEGO smashed into a tree. That said, it was a valiant effort you made.
  15. Son of a! *rubs his hand* Now this is a wealth of information. Let's go step by step. The dragon freaks can't be happy about that. Lunch was great, I ran into this tall blonde and, well, it was a long lunch. Like I say, good thing he cancelled. As for the rest, that doesn't sound like something those dragon freaks would like either, but it explains the plans we found and the potential involvement of Mr. Dunne. He seems to be continuing down the dangerous path and involving Dunne and what's-her-name as well. So far we know that the Professor and I can't be this "colleague" he speaks of, he's not much for playing nice with people and doesn't mind using them as well. The ones we found, I assume. Outside shots of the house. Was he looking for something or covering up something or what? I wish he'd specified which one so I could kick him. Oh well, I can just kick both. Did he come to see you, Dr. Phil? By clues he means convoluted and annoying word puzzles, I'm sure. Still don't know who, but it seems like it has to be someone here. To consider someone a colleague, they are usually of similar age or status. Anthony Blackwater delivered a "suitcase to use in negotiations." Can anyone say payoff? Oh, and a meeting with Mr. Dunne. Now we know who he was expecting the night he was killed. Funny he hasn't mentioned this to us... The night he died. He never made it back to write anything else. Doesn't look good for you, Mr. Dunne. We have keys. If we don't, we have large metal weapons. That drawer is opening. Dammit! Where?

    9v Planes

Dick roll, it would seem. Hilarious, too. Maybe we should all change our avatars... Sinner is my resident technical expert, he's a real wanker about it, which just means he's damn good at the job. He says it's not, it's not. Try again!

You'll probably just hit yourself in the head trying. Get the whole thing on video.

    9v Planes

New super deluxe and ultra cool title for the first person who builds a 9v LEGO plane and crashes it into a tree, while recording video that they share online. Dead serious here, I want to see this!
  19. Oh, and after everything else is done, I'd like to sneak under the bed when no one is looking, then reach out and grab one of their ankles as they walk by, thus scaring the crap out of them. Well... I think we've done everything else.
  20. I could make a case for pretty much every one of you at this point, but we have to make some kind of decision as a group. If Iris knew who not to trust, we wouldn't be in this situation, so she's a completely useless alibi. On top of that, we have the affair that seems like it should contain at least one rat. That said, I'm going with the two previously stated votes for Piav. He's been too quiet and we can't seem to pinpoint anything about him. He seems as likely as anyone to have been in the area where the broken wire was seen and the way I remember the events of the day, he would have been in a good position to hit Johnny with something and pull me out of the truck in the confusion, thus hindering our escape. I wish I could be more sure, but it's all I've got right now. I don't know how to get any real proof.
  21. Ooooh. Being here first, I'll grab the book and start reading it, but not until after I've squirted the fountain pen in Max's face. Accidentally.
  22. That is absolutely stunning! Would you consider step by step assembly instructions so we can all enjoy this at home? I know, it's asking too much, but maybe some discussion of the finer hard-to-see points? You, sir, have been blogged.
  23. Much better! I can see a lot of potential for these. Matter of fact, I just won a very old (4.5v) train on eBay and maybe I'll have to try giving it an update with these templates and some new doors (this is so old it doesn't have doors, but it has these really interesting 1x2x2 clear windows with printed frames).
  24. He is crazy, but in this case I think it's just that they just load painfully slow (and on my machine they triggered a warning I'd never seen before in any file I'd ever downloaded, so it's possible that his is flat out blocking them). Yeah, I don't know a thing about all that except that the meta-data is useless to us and they're still reading as 300dpi, which is half what I usually use. I know that somewhere in all that I'm missing some kind of subtle point. Oh, my printer is crap, that's probably where I'm missing it. Now there's a good idea! I think I can handle those. I really need to take a class or something and step up to the vector world. It just always seems like for all it's advances, it limits future modification (well, complicates it beyond what most people know) and all my efforts at it have ended up slow and less precise than I can handle. Can you say "self-taught = suck"? Sounds great, can't wait to see them!
  25. Potentially very useful, thanks for sharing these! Now... why are they 600k each? Once I managed to load them, a quick copy into Paintshop Pro and save (I use no jpeg compression) resulted in 15k files. I have no idea what is inflating them, but if you'd like my 15k copies... here and here.
