  1. We all made our mistakes... Sadly, when I was loyal, I came to the conclusion that you were Agent Black (Draggy had told me about the visit). I thought you had probably tried to convert Adalaide, failed, and gone after him next. I mentioned this suspicion to Trexx, who I trusted completely at the time. When you turned out to be loyal, he was incredibly understanding and said that as sad as it was, mistakes happen...
  2. Speaking of votes! How many people ever voted for me, and was I loyal or a rat at the time?
  3. Brainwashing. In the slightly altered plot version where Ivan lives, he had been brainwashed by the Baritones as revenge and Agent Black 'cured' him. I felt bad because it became obvious that you weren't going to last long after I was turned and I couldn't think of any way to save you, but at least it led to the Quarrioni vs. Trexxesani showdown, which will long be remembered, and referenced, I'm sure. Exactly.
  4. Hey, this is only my second appearance as a rat, and this was by conversion after the fact. In Baritones I, I was loyal and true Ivan and we won and then in Witch Hunt... well, we all know about that one. Whole town of non-witches and Hinck. I have no doubt about that. Really? How would my landmine have worked? I had no idea it even existed, but early on I faked one that I don't think anyone noticed. It was when I would drink and put my gun on the table in front of me then start yelling in red. I was setting it up as a way to scare someone off if it looked like they were going to vote for me (and this was while I was loyal... ). Mostly just copying Adalaide's rant at Pedro the loon. Witch. Lies! Iris is lying again! She's trying to mislead us, guys, let's vote her off next!
  5. It's not my fault I was turned! I was actually happy being loyal, but even I didn't know that I had been brainwashed by the Baritones as revenge for the first game ... of life, and was serving them against my will. When Agent Black came and revealed it all to me, it was such a relief to be back to Ivan, but at the same time, I was really into being loyal, so it was a conflict. Shut up. I was confused, too. I think it was Trexxasani, while Quarrioni killed LeAnn to pretty much wipe out your family tree in one shot. I'm surprised Ivan didn't say, "Oh my, you are looking the flushed, Johnny." And really, you played well, just remember that someone can be converted after you've found them to be loyal, so you have to keep rechecking people. A lot.
  6. Two words people, two words ... CHEFS HAT! Right there in my house, all the proof you needed. Chefs hat, FiberCon (you can't take my word about what it is, you have to Google it yourselves, though I did find a perfectly suitable cover for it in the concrete reinforcement company, whew...). I could have killed Hinck for that clue. I won't even get into my name being Ian after playing Ivan. Even when I was loyal, I suspected me. Seriously, this was, by far, the best game yet, and I'm not just saying that because you're all dead, I really mean it. Once I had been converted, I realised the situation I was in. Everyone seemed to trust me at that point, and suddenly it was my job to misdirect and lead you to disaster, right as I was getting a grasp on the rat situation. If it hadn't been for that conversion, we would have continued down the path of killing Willie and Pavarti and probably figured out Trexxesani along the way, but he would have had to convert someone else (he was the one sending Agent Black, the one who decided to turn me at just the right moment to insure rat success) and then we would have either won or been stuck figuring out who the last rat was. Picking me to convert was the perfect choice since I was widely trusted at the time (though night-actionless). From there, madness ensued, mostly subtle misdirection and letting the natural suspicions take over. I didn't have to fight very hard on some, I was practically talked into Dickie (who, when I was loyal, I suspected was a rat ) which opened the door to the whole endgame. Thanks to everyone for a great game, especially crazy witch Iris... Ivan was wanting to make you the deadness since Baritones I and the Johnny Blue death was absolutely beautiful (and dammit, now I need a yellow handtruck ).
  7. I could have sworn I overheard Iris saying that she hoped you would all write your theories in to her, and that she would make an announcement whenever we do finally manage to end this game, telling who was right and how quickly they figured it out. Personally, I wish you'd all write me, too, but that might be cheating.
  8. If this chapter is over, why are we still talking? It's like one of those episodes of the Twilight Zone or something...
  9. I'm still ducking from that last bullet when she slammed down the gun. Think she has a concussion, too?
  10. Minifigs are babies, or at least infants... Don't look at me like that, I'm not crazy. Look at this instead! Yes, that's right, a minifig sitting in the high chair (with pigtails, too) of the Gylman family kitchen. See how perfectly she fits? Of course she can't bend her elbows or move her hands nearly as much as the adults, but that's the price of miniaturization. That puts a whole new perspective on the issue, huh?
  11. Hey hey hey! LEGO isn't a clone brand either. The basic concept of a western log fort or a castle go back before either one was making toys, so it's natural for there to be similarities without either one taking ideas from the other. Actually, I wish LEGO would pick up some Playmobil ideas, to be honest.
  12. Nice job, I like the idea and the execution. Playmobil isn't a clone brand, it's a different class of toy completely, more like action figures.
  13. I smell a contest! Let's try to change TLG's decision to do away with them by holding a ... Best Use for Rubber Band Holders Contest! I'm only half joking here.
  14. *grabs the silly looking helmet off your head and proceeds to use it to crowbar open the drawer* OH LOOK, IT'S OPEN THIS TIME! Damn shame it wasn't open after I picked the lock earlier, then we wouldn't have had to stand around for all this wasted time!
  15. Iris promised us something bad for not succeeding yesterday and today we're looking at a confusing and potentially misleading situation that seems designed to split us up. Even I was reconsidering our previous plans in light of it, and I think that may have been a mistake. I think we need to look at who benefits most from this confusion. Several of us had previously agreed on a plan for today, I believe we should return to that plan. Most of all, we need to be sure we aren't splitting up our votes and giving the rat more time to either kill us or create confusion and get us to kill ourselves. I would strongly suggest we agree publicly before voting privately today. At this point, I think it's time to put all our cards on the table. Make sense?
  16. Great... someone has been stuck in this dragon infested freakhouse too long and thinks he's a mobster! Did we check way up on top of the bed for the key? How about under the sink? In the toilet paper roll? In the towels? How about in dragonfreak's pockets? I bet he's got some good stuff in there...
  17. Fair enough, I welcome the scrutiny and am glad to see you continue to serve a useful purpose to the family. Makes sense, sort of like the way they were watching Dragonateri's, only more subtle. My niece and mother, taken just before she died in a suspicious car accident. I always suspected a rival family. I wonder if that's a clue to why we're being attacked now. I wouldn't have thought it was possible before, but knowing that we had rats right under our noses, I'm not so sure anymore. Did you also find my "I like mine well done" apron with the flamethrower picture on it? I use it to BBQ in. Fibercon is actually a concrete reinforcement company. I use their products when I need to dispose of something we don't want coming back to haunt us. They send me little sample bottles of their latest formula so I can see that it meets family specifications. As they put it... "We Put Strength in Concrete" Sounds like you're lucky to be alive! It does seem like the two of you got in a fight, and since Quarrioni can't seem to explain his injuries... I don't like what I'm thinking.
  18. I can't believe we were wrong again... Another wrongful death to avenge. This is getting ridiculous. What have you two been up to, you look awful! Why have you been fighting? Did one of you discover something about the other?
  19. Cool speeder! It looks loud and powerful. About the only thing I'd work on are weapons, it seems fast and powerful, but lacking in attack ability. Maybe you could express that in a little more detail, explain what about it doesn't look good in a constructive way, otherwise it isn't really helpful. We tend to frown on short posts without valuable content, especially in something like this where it would be easy to say what you like or don't in detail.
  20. Absolutely! For a comprehensive guide to using Brickshelf to post pictures in a thread, visit here. In the future, it's always a good idea to consult the Tutorials Index located at the top of this forum. It's a wealth of useful information compiled by that dashing and handsome ImperialShadows chap, who also happens to have written that thrilling tutorial. I'll lock this now before I get heckled too much. If you have any further questions, ask them in the guide.
  21. Now that's what I was waiting for... it's -ly! It's so smooth and classy... ever considered hosting a Murder Mystery Train? I love the simplicity of the pattern and how it carries through from the rest of the car. As for the tan, yeah, it's a tough one, I've never been sure of the tan I use either. Mine is 14/21/47/0 (#d7c599), but it usually looks a tiny bit dark to me. If that isn't what you used, it might be perfect in this case, but I wouldn't sweat it, they just look like they'd seen more wear than the rest of the car and were recently painted to fix that. Those are the little variations that help keep life from being bland. Yeah, got to get some of those. I love it, I wouldn't change a thing except maybe that 1x2 grill tile. Unless that's accurate to the real thing, I'd either go black or chrome. Hide it or make it stand out even more, but that grey just seems odd to me. Can we look forward to more and other types of cars?
  22. That's quite a unique entry into the theme, completely unexpected and maybe a little out of place, but well done, without a doubt. I do appreciate how the whole story is coming together, I'm just distracted by the yellow. I think I would have preferred red or black windows and fences, but yellow was a daring and, as I said, unexpected choice that definitely makes it stand out. It would probably look good in the moonlight, as opposed to the kind of light it takes to get a good picture, so that would qualify as spooky potential in my book. How did you manage the horse head / horseshoe logo on brown like that? It's my favourite part, weird as that might seem. from me, another fine effort.
  23. That's what they're for, just be sure to follow the rules in the first post and you'll be all set.
  24. Since we're all standing around the bathroom, perhaps we can finally answer that age old question: "Do creepy cryptogram making geezers have their toilet tissue going over or under the roll?" And while all of you are staring at that, I just picked the lock to that little drawer in the bedroom. Yes, I can do that, you'll find I'm full of felonious surprises, I am a lawyer, you know. As I pull open the drawer, I'm surprised to see what, Mr. Dragonbreath? (alternately, I would have smashed the megablucks out of it)
  25. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. If it does, maybe we'll have received some kind of clue to go on. I do think the affair has some potential to be that clue, but that still leaves us with two potential suspects and not a lot of room to breathe. I never even knew what took Johnny down and didn't notice him once the shooting started. I did get grazed, you know, that tends to raise the panic level just a bit, knowing that the feds are trying to murder. A good lawyer can't get you out of that one. Oh, and when a tough broad with a big gun is blasting everything in sight, you run like hell. I don't believe everything Iris says, she doesn't know who the last rat is any more than we do. If she did, we'd be done. Therefore, everything she says is taken from the perspective that she's intending the best but could be wrong. At one time, she trusted every member of this family. That hasn't gone so well for us.
