I knew you couldn't really say, but I had to ask. I know what I can safely ask, even if it's only a simple yes or no answer. Were you involved in the design on this one, and if so, once they are officially out in the open, can you show us some development drawings or discuss the process, etc? If it wasn't you, can you drag whoever was in to see us? We'll be friendly. Honest.

According to a number of online articles, including here and here, LEGO will be adding a license to produce Ben 10 based toys in 2010. I say "toys" because phrases like "a new twist on the Lego building system" and "a new way to build and play with Lego elements" give me flashbacks of Galidor, but let's hope that's not the case and it's just a bit of hyperbole. The fact that a representative of both TLG and CN are quoted making statements of that nature, however... Discuss this news here.

To be blunt, the game was completely unbalanced when it started or you wouldn't have seen so many loyalist deaths so quickly. The traitors had full reign over things with every attempted kill being a success, uncertainty because of the bizarre mortician situation, and all the loyalists had was one other night action to fall back on, a weak one at that. You wouldn't have been so lucky in a normal game, and now that things are even, you really want to complain because a daytime vigilante was allowed to use their action? I could have swept this game as a traitor if the original rules had been left. And if nobody paid any attention to me. Then again, I was loyal.

While it's been a bit of an uneasy day for the newly formed joint team, overall things have been relatively calm, even in light of the potentially disturbing message intercepted from Black Sun. That is, until now. Commander Blazer and Admiral Blaire finish analyzing the intercepted message in time to join the team for dinner. Arriving at the mess hall, they're pleased to see the groups beginning to mix more freely and discuss matters without hostility or conflict. Looking around, Commander Blazer notices that one of his pilots hasn't arrived, Adley "Newbie" Ahm. "I think I'd better check this out," he says to Admiral Blaire in a concerned tone. "I've got a bad feeling about this..." As the Commander rounds the corner to the crew quarters, he discovers a ghastly sight and quickly calls for security, but a scan of the area reveals no one. Solemnly, he returns to the mess hall and informs the team of the situation. They go to the conference room to watch the security video. Unidentified figure: "Hey buddy!" Adley Ahm: "Oh, hey. I'm just on my way to dinner." Unidentified figure: "So am I, but first I wanted to show you something special." Adley Ahm: "Sure. What's that?" Unidentified figure: "My pet spider, Skippy." Adley Ahm: "Aaaaah! Keep it away from me!" Unidentified figure: "Oh, come now, he likes you, he just wants to get to know you better." Adley Ahm: "Noooo!" Unidentified figure: "Well, seems he's found a new home in your helmet, Looks like you won't be seeing your next Black Sunrise. Heh heh." Adley Ahm: "Get it out! Get it out!" Adley Ahm: "Aaaaaah, what's it doing????" Adley Ahm: "My head feels funny." Adley Ahm: "Like ... it's ... expanding ..." Adley Ahm: "Brain hurt bad!" Adley Ahm: "Fark." *BOOM* *SPLATTER* *SQUISH* *THUD* Grand Admiral Volrik: "Mmmm, cherries. You know, I haven't had dessert yet." Everyone else: "..." Admiral Blaire: "Analysis of Ahm's personal records has uncovered evidence that he was a Black Sun operative. It seems that our unidentified vigilante has done us all a favour and provided the first real success in this situation." Commander Blazer: "That will be all for now, be careful out there people, I have a feeling that things just got a lot more serious."
