I know it’s highly unlikely .. but I’d love to see a Diagon Alley People Pack .. like 60202 the Outdoor Pack and 60234 the Fun Fair Pack .. random Witches and Wizards to fill the street and make it look busier than it currently does ?

@Guyon2002 I’m doing exactly the same as you my friend .. The Burrow is the only new set I’ve yet to I’m going to wait and see what happens ??

Great idea @dyl-and .. I was thinking of getting some of the witch and wizard figs from other lego sets and CMF series .. I think I might find a Gandalf minifig to use too .. the street need a bit more hustle and bustle ie more people ?

Where does the general mauve look of WWW come from ?? It’s certainly not that colour in the movies ? Looking at an image search I think it seems to be the lighting from the tour ? I’m not keen either on the pink of the Quidditch Supplies store. ☹️

I still love it .. just not as much as I thought I would .. 14 minifigures ?? 14 !!! This is gonna trigger my 5 minifigures with the Disney Castle trauma .. and I was just getting over it ??? Official hi-res images will be something to look forward to ?

@qREX the opposite side, the side that’s on the floor I guess .. on looking at the picture I think it’s been taken by a Lego store employee .. look at the floor .. tiles .. the surroundings .. ladder, a piles of flattened boxes. I think they’re about to start building it for store display.

I love it .. yet at the same time am slightly underwhelmed by the minifigures .. yet also at the same time when you look at them and think logically what and who else would I have expected .. except more of them .. c’mon Lego .. the Ewok Village was half the price of this set and had 17 minifigs ! I wonder .. and it’s a BIG stretch but what if the other side of the box has 14 different minifigures on it ?

So when you type Diagon Alley into the search bar at Lego’s website .. as soon as you type Diagon .. the rest auto fills and is clickable .. but it also brings up 953 items .. none of which are the actual set lol .. they’re getting prepared for it though

Well spotted @Robert8 .. I had literally just screen shot the group pic to use as my Facebook cover picture .. never even noticed the error until you posted about it Strange that it went unnoticed by Lego !

I was wondering maybe Lockhart ( but not fancy enough ) one of the shop keepers .. I’m not sure it’s Arthur either ?? Here in the UK there’s a quiz show called the chase .. they’ve literally just asked the question “Flourish and Blotts features in which series of novels ?”

Don’t get me wrong I’m pleased to see the official pictures of the CMF .. but really Lego ?? They’re like “ooooooh here they are” .. and we’re all like “meh .. old news .. where are the DA pictures we’re all waiting for ?”

Loving the butter beer glasses .. what’s the reckoning we only get one in each packet though .. remember how with Trelawney and Edna Mode we got two teacups .. I think this will only be one

Just a little question to break the tension a bit .. with the introduction of Griphook in the new series .. is Warwick Davis going to become the person with most minifigs made of characters he’s played ?? I think his total will become 6 .. Wicket W. Warrick (Star Wars), Wald (Star Wars), Professor Filius Flitwick (Harry Potter), DD-BD (Star Wars), Weazel (Star Wars) .. and now Griphook ( Harry Potter )

I need a set for me and a set for my Potter mad 10 year old niece .. I’m buying a box .. wonder if Lego will sell whole boxes again ?

@Guyon2002 .. I thought about this the other day so I’ve just been studying the group pic .. there’s are some great pieces .. I only just realised Griphook’s arms have pinstripes too .. I’ll probably get a second Griphook to use the sword of Gryffindor with Godric .. Ginny’s hair reminds me of Giselle from Disney’s Enchanted .. might be useful for a custom ??

Ahhhh .. hence why I had no idea who Nomad was .. and why bricklink wouldn’t find him lol .. I’m so out of date on the Avengers films lol .. thanks though I’ve also seen a couple of Theseus Scamander customs .. I’m still yet to make one for myself though

@TheRandomBlocker and @Darth Shadowthrone I made my young Albus with the Venkman hair too, I’m sure the head is Captain America and the torso and legs are pretty generic parts. Hopefully the link will work !

I totally agree with you @Nick unassembled .. when the first Potter sets arrived I was deep into my dark ages .. the reboot sets arrived and I thought .. they’re ok .. then I decided to collect the teaching staff figures, as more sets appeared I thought I’ll just collect the figures from the whole range, so bought many on the secondary market, THEN I decided I’d just like a couple of sets .. this spiralled quickly into wanting more and eventually them all. There’s no other range I can think of to compare this against other than Star Wars, but it’s not really a fair comparison. There are a couple of things I think Lego have dropped the ball on and I’ve thought ‘what we’re they thinking’ .. like no dress printing on Bellatrix in The Burrow and those white door frames in The Astronomy Tower .. but overall it’s a fantastic range .. here’s to year 4’s sets ^_^

A quick Fantastic Beast set question .. when they released Newt’s Magical Case and the Thestral Carriage together the Thestral Carriage was from the second movie which at that point hadn’t been released .. I always wonder why they did that ? Or have I got things mixed up. If that’s the case we’ve only had one set from each film. Shame as I really like the FB sets.

Only a thought but do different theme teams at Lego actually talk to each other at all ?? The ‘apparating’ piece from the Hidden Side set would have been perfect ( and is perfect for the people who have used it already ) to introduce in the Harry Potter line. Sometimes some of the choices or lack thereof baffle me
