I got into the series post skeletons, SL the snakes were my first villains. I have no interest in getting the first year sets, but when you say true form, do you mean the four headed dragon? Because I have that

Interesting, I didn't find it to be blocky, do you mean around the torso and missile launcher parts? I find that all the limbs and head have excellent movement and sizewise, it can hold two ninja like the titanium dragon can. For me I am a little underwhelmed with the head on the T dragon, I feel like the top part can come off way too easy as the white bridge piece is connected only by a sjngke stud

So because I had a bit more free cash lying around, tonight I picked up 70730, the chain cycle with NRG Zane and ghosts. Plus today the kai's mini fire dragon poly bag got delivered in the post, so all I need now is Wu's dragon and the Morro dragon and my dragon list is complete... I hope Nya will eventually get her own

Oh the blades aren't a problem. I had all the final battle elemental blades for the main four ninjas plus the skybound sets also came with extras as well as the new colour elental blades for lloyd, nya, and wu. Cole has his black lightsaber hilt so that isn't an issue. Likewise kai has the torch hilt from his final battle mech. Hopefully Lego will release a red or dark red lightsaber hilt piece in the future...

I picked up the nexo knight ultimate clay the other day and the titanium dragon. The TD is great though I'm not massively keen on how white it is, I might try to MoC more grey into it in the same vein as the mech dragon. But the reason I mention ultimate clay here is because that build comes with four lightsaber hilts in dark blue. Two for the back spinning swords, one for clays main and a spare. So I used the spare dark blue hilt with my ultimate team ninjago lineup aboard my destiny's bounty. Each ninja wears the deeostone armour (as its my favourite) and other mods. Until the titanium hair pieces comes out my Zane has the lighter hairpiece from rebooted, Lloyd has a face open hood and green cloak, Cole rides his small dragon with ghost legs and dark green head. Each of them has a specific lightsaber hilt which is for their individual elemental blades, kai's is the long golden one from the kai fire mech, Cole has a black lightsaber hilt and his green Eblade, Lloyd's is golden, wu also golden, Zane has a white hilt (plus a blue engery shield), nya has the curved hilt that assaj ventress has in the star wars sets, and now I am satisfied with jays new dark blue hilt. Can anyone give an idea if there is a red hilt in a set or series somewhere I could give to my kai or a light blue for nya? Tldr :)

The blue one can be found in the titanium dragon set. I know because I just built it, the blue part makes up the end of the tail

Yesterday I got paid so I went do to the Lego store and got a few things. For this thread I got the Ultimate Clay and its standing proudly on my desk at work now. Now I want to download the app to scan the qr codes

If it's childish (which it totally is) then I am absolutely fine with it. The majority of Lego I buy is ninjago, as well as CMF and Lego Ideas, but my house us absolutely packed with ninjago models and vehicles. And I couldn't give a damn if the internet data its for kids. I'm basically a 29 year old boy anyway... Shadow puppet theatre... That's very grown up right? Right? Er..

I've used ebay a few times for Lego purchasing, mainly because I wanted to get the majority of the Pharaoh's Quest series, and most were complete sets, except for one which was missing the female character minifig from one set, which the seller mentioned. I never had an issue with Ebay until I moved back to China a couple of years ago and ordered Coles Assault Vehicle, the ninjago vehicle that kind of looks like a batmobile. The only issue I had was the shipping took ages. It wasn't the sellers fault, it was a customs issue. But yeah the feedback was fine for me because we were constantly updating each other with comments so I had nothing bad to say about that seller. But ebay of course can be a real minefield, I've heard some proper horror stories regarding unscrupulous sellers

I really like your set up, I think the work you put into creating you mountain region for the anacondrai temple's is fantastic. I also wanted to ask, what are the clear pieces under your destiny bounty, they look like glass cups but I can't be sure. I would like to do something similar with mine and my misfortunes keep... As for my layout, I have gone for my individual set ups as I have placed my ToA my misfortunes keep and my destiny's bounty on separate level shelves making each one an individual diorama. ToA has a ghost battle featuring Morro, Misfortunes Keep has the fight against the sky pirates of course, and my DB is a show off pieces at the top of the shelves with my minifig customisation (lloyd for example is now wearing his hood from when he was the child minifig and also wearing the green cape from the mandarin iron man 3 wave). Each minifig on the DB is carrying an individual lightsaber hilt which is for their elemental blades. I really need to upload photos.... Great work man, I look forward to seeing more

I have been looking at the ultimate packs and I don't really like the colour coded armours of the knights. I prefer the metallic looking armour from the sets. I guess I'll have to bricklink the individual knght minifigs because I only really fancy those from the current NK range. Maybe coming waves in the future will hold more interest to me. Though I do really like some of the villains

So I bought a CMF 15 and got a kendo fighter. Here I. China cmfs are 29rmb which is the equivalent of a UK £2.90. For China that is pretty expensive but I don't mind. Anyway I was checking eBay and the same minifig was marked up to 79rmb and 110rmb altoeghter for shipping... Its ridiculous. The shark suit guy was going for 640rmb in some listing, over £60!!!

So friends and nexo knights official summer images were released today. Hopefully we'll get the official ninjago images this week too. Exciting times

Today I bought a cmf15 kendo fighter. I have the bug so bad to buy more but I have to wait ten days till I get paid

Picked up the kendo fighter today from the Lego store near me. Was kind of hoping for the shark suit guy but kendo guy is cool. He can go in the training room for my temple of airjitsu So I've been reading the last few pages of this thread and some people have made mention of S16... I thought 15 had only just been released or am I behind on the times?

Yes that's exactly what its like. The glider has two grey spikes at the top of the build and the dustbin in the centre to place the bombs inside. With it raised it can keep a bomb inside the bin no problem and the spikes look just like harpoon guns, plus because of the build of the glider the harpoons also move left and right independently from each other. It's a nice use of the glider because I don't have any way at present to display things in the air. I need wire or clear stands that can work. So for now the glider is a harpoon launcher :)

Weight wise its absolutely fine. Its on the left of the ship and in my imagination is a missile battery. It is on my shelf and doesn't have a balance problem else it would have fallen and smashed ages ago as the shelf is high. Plus when not in use it can rise up and down bringing it closer to the ship. I just need to work out how to get lower size photo files from my phone so I can post picutres The set wasn't exactly designed for it, I removed a couple of those white teeth from the side of the ship and then the nodded glider clips on perfectly

I took the pirate jet pack from the ninja cycle chase and attached it to the side of the Zeppelin so now it looks like the Zeppelin has a cannon launcher.

For me moving abroad meant leaving all my Lego at home with family in the UK. Like most, i too went through the usual dark age period and lost interest. Living in China though made me nostaligic for familiar things. My girlfriend (now wife) and I were out shopoing on one of the weekends and saw a toys r us, we decided to go inside and have fun trying on face masks and taking photos. When I saw the Lego area. It wasn't a massive TrU and the Lego area wasn't huge too. But at that time the ninjago serpents wave was out and I really liked the look of what was available. My girlfriend and I talked about Lego, we both revealed we loved it when we were kids, so we decided to pick up the venomari shrine, jays blue electric fighter jet, and because we had spent over a certain amount, we got a free city theme small fire service 4×4 with one minifig and a trailer full of equipment. We built it all that evening and we never looked back. On the morning of our wedding when we moved to the UK temporarily (back in China now) I rushed out to collect the wedding cake while she was with her bridesmaids getting ready. I went into the local Lego store at west field shopping mall in London and purchased the bride and groom minifig decoration set. It went on top of the wedding cake and she loved it. Its still on our display shelf to this day. AFOL for life!

I don't exactly know what a fashion doll is so I honestly don't know what the issue is there. But as for your hobby of collecting, building, doing whatever when it comes to toys... You have nothing to feel ashamed of. People have all manners of ways of spending money and frankly speaking you don't need a justification or excuse to do the same. You enjoy what you enjoy, and why should you feel bad and need to hide that? Not everyone will understand what your passions are and some might actively discourage it by saying it's not normal. But that isn't your problem; it's theirs. So be proud of your hobby and go buy something. Nothing wrong with buying it for a 31 year old kid. My colleague is openly gay and completely at peace with his sexuality (just to clarify I am not insinuating you might be, its just relevant to my friend). Which is one of the reasons why a week ago he had a hello kitty suit jacket tailored from some fabric he broight back from singapore and has a bicycle with a hello kitty pink helmet. When he wears that stuff it looks fantastic and everyone in our office has had photos taken wearing the helmet. If anyone ever judged him for his style and passions I know exactly how ****s he would give. Zero.
