If you create a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and connect via the USA it should work. I'm in the UK and just used TunnelBear as a test and was able to watch it.

Colour choices are amazing, and the shaping and overall composition is beautiful. Love it!

Thanks! First time really trying to take decent photos. Still got a bit to learn but I'm pleased with the way they came out. "Come on, put them on..." " No, I'm not wearing them! You can't make me..."

Oops, double posted by mistake, sorry!

Thanks! Elves was a great theme - so much untapped potential... Haha, thanks! Finding the balance was tricky. An earlier version had purple and lilac coloured plants as well, and more flowers. I was going for an overgrown look, but you could barely tell what it was supposed to be.
-
Thanks deraven, much appreciated :) I had fun attaching all the earth elements, but they do have a tendency to fall off! The technique with the flowers isn't mine, but it works really well. I was lucky enough to pick up a good handful of the connected flowers from a pick-a-brick wall a couple of years ago, but it looks like they only do the individual ones now so it may become a rarer technique over time.

Hi all, a while ago I was inspired by Panagliamp to create an Elves themed Mech, and I finally got round to it! It can operate autonomously... ...or it can be piloted. The idea is that it was an old goblin mining mech that Farran found and fixed up. Rear view. A bit messy now I look at it - might try and tidy it up... The main frame is sturdy and quite posable, but bits of plant/crystal tend to fall off. A lot. Targeting system deployed. View of the cockpit. It will (probably) be part of my larger Elves WIP. Comments and suggestions welcome, and thanks again to Panagliamp for the inspiration. (Sneak peek at my WIP...)

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Love this idea. With all the usual technic functions (suspension, steering, working engine etc), plus all the bat-gadgets (slide opening canopy, pop up machine guns, wheel bombs, etc)? Motorised? Shut up and take my money! -
I wasn't 100% behind the idea of a gingerbread house, but these are great ideas. I can really picture that working well

[MOC] 1st MOC in 25 years - Train tunnel (corner build)
BenA replied to HereWeGoAgain's topic in LEGO Town
Welcome back to Lego ! This is really nice, lots of lovely details to spot. I like the waterfall and the curved steps up the cliff a lot. I also really like the rounded tree trunk - looks great! Looking forward to seeing your city as it emerges, and especially what you do with an underwater scene. -
Thanks soccerkid6 - one or two of your medieval tutorials may have been used in its creation...

Thanks! I just looked up the Knott's Berry cookies, and yes they look very similar :)

Hopefully we'll have more to show soon, but here's a quick look that doesn't give too much away (and just noticed Destiny's Bounty is sticking up behind - D'oh!)... Thanks!

Thanks Zoth, much appreciated :)

Hi all, we've still got a way to go on our latest moc, but decided to have a bit of fun while we wait for bricklink orders to arrive. First attempt at anything like this, but we found it hilarious to make. Enjoy! (For anyone wondering, a Jammie Dodger is a kind of biscuit we have in the UK) (Edit: spelling)
-
That's a lot of leaf elements! And yellow ones too (at last!) - fantastic!
-
I wondered that too. Hope so - I've been considering Altbricks for a while but if Lego are doing official light orange or yellow leaves I'll hold off! The build looks nice but really I'm eyeing this up as a parts pack. Looks great from that perspective.
-
I think... I really like it! Great concept - I can easily imagine the elves using magic to create 'fantasy mech' armour out of natural/living elements and crystals to help them on their quests... Hmm, might steal that idea if you don't mind?

My first thought was the green kitsune that he rides in the Nocturas tower set, but I quite like the idea of some kind of cart being pulled by giant badgers. Possibly blue ones I like that idea! I'm picturing a cart (again) but pulled by armadillos, with the rear covering able to close up like their shells to protect the travellers from sandstorms. I'd like to see this!

That's lovely! I'm really glad you found that happiness (and Lego Elves ) Great idea! Our idea for the goblin village at the moment is to have it inside a mountain, with the Dragon Sanctuary on top. Nothing if not ambitious! The healing hideout could go nicely near the entrance to the mountain...

Haha, thanks very much. It's about half done, if we do everything we want to! We have plans for a goblin village, and perhaps the dragon sanctuary as well... will depend if my bank balance can take the bricklink hit!

Us too, on both counts. Like others we love the colours and would even go as far as to say it was the Elves theme and associated minidolls that got my daughter into Lego. We'll be happy if the Elves theme lives on here, and in that spirit, here's a sneak peek of our current work-in-progress... Taken us ages to get to this point and it'll be a while before it's finished

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
BenA replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I think you're underestimating how big a "point of interest and admiration" even more modern or "ordinary" buildings can be, I get where Agent 86 is coming from - I don't think he was suggesting modern/ordinary buildings can't be focal points for interest/admiration, just that he'd like the next modular to be a large, majestic building that would be universally recognised as one. For example, had I been driving past Carl's without having the benefit of reading your post, chances are wouldnt have noticed it (ok, maybe I would, but because of the queues rather than the architecture!). But had I been passing say, The Ferry Farm or courthouse, it would have been a different story! (Just spent an enjoyable time mooching round Fredericksburg on Google street-view, looks like a very interesting place!) In my opinion the small proportions of the BB prevent it from being truly classed as 'grand' (although I think that's what they were going for, and I agree it's beautifully done). Add a couple of extra floors on, and/or extend it sideways by half again, and I'd say yes. My personal preference would be for a more European style building (or buildings) next time. The last couple have leaned towards American so a change would keep things fresh. Classical architecture would be great, but I'm open to anything really. Maybe something with a Mediterranean feel? Mixed use doesn't bother me because it generally doesn't detract from the outside of the buildings, which is what I spend most of the time looking at anyway. -
This really made me smile, great little build! The bat-ears through the roof are hilarious!
