Is that a real aayla-secura? It looks the same as this one. Eitherway, it looks official, even though I doubt that it is! I'm flattered... or should I say flattened! :-D

I will be sure to give it a second chance then! But did he get the ice cube tray? Well? Walruses have big heads and I don't think that little hammer will do the job! (Thanks for the whack! I feel better now.) Largely Radar and chemical warfare. No sausages. That was the old navy. Sausages are a no-no today in most navies. You know; "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" They tried to train me, but I failed! That was one of the worst parts :-X ; if you don't like the food you can't go elsewhere! Often I lived on chocolates sold at the ship canteen. :-$

That's a mighty fine army you have there! Welcome to Eurobricks.

I bought the MTT and while I do see your point, it didn't bother me enough to not buy it!
-
Yes, I saw this last year. It is perfect and I am more than a bit jealous.
-
Welcome the Eurobricks! My advice is get it. I considered buying it recently, largely for the roller doors, but I ended up buying the Aquabase set instead as I wanted the Slave 1 cockpit pieces and the squid. I am still considering buying it though...

Personally I thought the whole idea was silly so I didn't vote. If they want to do this fairly there should be at least two categories, such as; 1. Post 1900 2. The rest Or better still... 1. Post 1900 2. Post 1000 3. Pre 0 Comparing the Coliseum to the Sydney Opera House is just plain silly. (Attitude Off)

skeleton design discussion (new and old)...
Siegfried replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice collection. I love the new Harry Potter one. It looks like it would make a great alien. I believe is a Death Eater. -

To Norro and Mr Hobbles Thanks. My main problem with the old Mac vs PC debate is I have never seen any one "win". The fanboys both say their line, neither agree, everyone is left with elevated tensions and no one is happy. (Except perhaps the trolls.) I think I will sit this one out. :-)

Well I was going to write a big post further debating the point, but I think in the interest of communal harmony, I won’t. There have been enough heated discussions on EB in the last few days and I don't want to join the club, and the chamber doesn’t seem like a nice place to hang. I would like to just point out that my point on Apple being overpriced was in the context of why they have a small market share today, so I was referring to their prices in the past. What they charge today is irrelevant. I am not going to debate it further here as I am here as I love Lego and Eurobicks and I don't want to cause trouble over an irrelevant topic. I will take this one on the chin and attempt to bow out gracefully. Feel free to take any potshots at my rapidly retreating posterior. I apologise for any potential causing of tensions when I unintendedly caused this debate. As a person who writes programs for Windows for a living (and learnt to program on an Apple II) I have strong feelings on this, and I should learn to keep my big mouth shut. :-$ Sorry.

That's re-assuring. Norro reminded me of the other common one; kleenex. I never hear either in Australia though.

Yep, that's why they failed to write a home grown OS that had the same multi-tasking and memory handling as even Windows 95 and eventually cheated by basing the OS on BSD rather than writing their own. This now is proclaimed as a feature, even though they spent millions and seven years working without success. Superior, yeah right. The biggest reason why Apple has such a small market share now is because of their constant overpricing because they are so convinced of their superiorty and they inability to produce a decent successor to System 7 in a timely fashion. (Yep, I am biased too! :-D )

My favourite is the green Viking dragon. I believe that power is bestowed upon you when you are promoted next; 52 posts on!

Indeed. Providing I see a walrus wacked i'm happy! :-P
-
The only reason why I apoligised to you was because in the ice cube tray thread you said... ...and I wouldn't want to ruin anyones playtime! :-P Yes, I sure have. When you posted the first of the Fabuland Housewives I read the whole episode, but I haven't been back since as it was far longer than I expected. (Sorry :-$ .) Indeed, you would probably be the one of few who has some aside from me. I was half encouaging people as I was curious how many people actually had him. But I certainly don't want people to go to any great effort just so my little Walrus gets whacked.
-
Odd. The picture I see is the guy with a big smile and shades with a old style black suit with a red shirt.
-
Welcome to Eurobricks! I can't comment on your MOC yet though as it hasn't been moderated yet. :'-( (You could try deeplinking some pictures as a teaser!)
-
Really? I thought it was commonly used expression to mean "vacumming". Let a guy live in a country for three months and he thinks he knows it all! :-$ Just shows what I know. :-P
-
But who is going to whack it for me? It has changed. Your browser (sorry hinckley39) must be cacheing the old image.
-
I've got one of those. It comes with loads of printed food. On the subject of Fabuland, feel free to whack my Walrus. He deserves it. I second that motion!

I have heard that before about the iPod and I really don't understand it. I think Americans are more likely to pick a brand name and turn it in to an action or a generic product. For example, I have heard "hoovering" used to be commonly said. Do you agree?

I think the iPhone is overrated. It has no feature that my 3 year old Treo doesn't have except Wi-Fi. But it is missing to many feature that my Treo has that I like, such as SD card reading, running custom programs, one key access to programs and phone numbers etc, that I would miss. (It doesn't have GPS by the way.) In addition it costs too much. My next phone will probably be a Windows Mobile one, but at this stage I would rather spend the money on Lego!

My last 100% phone, a Nokia 7110, I bought because it had several organiser like functions. However I found the interface too impractical and thus I decided to go for an organiser phone next.
