  1. Yes, I am 99% sure that is what it means. I even said so at post 10, but it seems no one reads what I say as at least three people have said virtually the same thing. :'-( :'-( :'-( (Calm down... breath deeply.... ahhhh.) Sorry. I feel better now.
  2. So, are they good for muffins?
  3. Strewth! Why buy so many?
  4. I agree. The squid was the highlight, although I quite like the fish as well. I am planning on breaking my crab and lobster soon. Wow! That was cheap. I have two copies of the T-1 Typhoon; one was slightly on sale and the other was under half price. Thus I have 4 sets of those arms. (Sorry, I want them, and not even muffin or ice cube trays could persade me to give them up.)
  5. After a good start it looks like Hinckley will be thrashed by PaulC! I like his, but chrome really isn't my style. I came closer to voting for Yoda's because of the Coffee machine! Don't tell my wife! Besides, it's just a fling.
  6. Here's my entry; Mad Max's Interceptor! Here's the bonus story that shows Max in action. It is a peaceful day in Sinnerton. Suddenly Max hears in the distance a troublemaker speeding on the road and causing trouble. He rushes down the stairs of the station to the waiting interceptor. Dog has been guarding it for him. At high speed he pursues, safely and skillfully avoiding traffic. Closing on his prey, he enters the dockyard. Victory! He rams the trouble makers into a ship and speedily exits the Intercepter with Dog to look for spilled guzzaline. EDIT: Photos moved to Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/10106199@N06/
  7. Thanks for finding the bonus pics. The cockpit is a bit dissapointing, but I think my hopes were too high! I am still awaiting better pics of the inside of the body...
  8. Thanks for the bonus review. I am still on the fence with this one so every opinion is good! In case you don't know, the AT-AT in the Dark Side Development Kit had a single motor and a moving head. It worked by the head simply swinging from side to side due to balence shifts. I suspect the AT-AT will be same. I also think that there will be no remote for it either.
  9. My pleasure.... and welcome to Eurobricks!
  10. Even though Hinckley has been mean to me and my Walrus lately, I still love him and his MOCs so he gets my vote.
  11. Did you see this one? http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...ic=9358&hl=7992
  12. Take that back! You started it anyway.... Alright, sorry. Can I have the special Walrus delivery now?
  13. Indeed. After those photos I am not sure if I want it now...
  14. I saw your last version and I was suitibly impressed then... but you still aren't happy! I'm surprised. It is really good and unique. It would be good even if it didn't transform...
  15. I like your Davy Jones. Very inventive use of that plant piece.
  16. Sorry to say, I liked the helmet design. I do agree that it is oversized, but most of the Lego scale is due to the incorrect proportians of the figures. The walkie talkies for example.
  17. Not even that. It was cancelled mid-season, just like Crusade. :'-(
  18. Have you ever heard of a set being expanded from late prototype to production? I have only heard of cuts, for example the Bat Tank was savagely cut back so it met the correct price point. Personally I hope it stays as it is; I would rather it be a tad cheaper and have less men.
  19. Me too. I am very curious about that. Will it be like the old ones or similar to the new? Who knows! It's all so exciting! :-P
  20. Well I liked it. I don't care what you think. I wanted a lot of policemen and many of the "bad" parts I had none of, such as the base, the <insert that tiresome argument> chopper parts. I also had none of the bay window parts.
  21. Well, I like it, but sorry to say it doesn't fit in. Why? 1. No light brick 2. The back is too detailed But personally, I like both of those changes! *wub* I have Silent Strike and Stealth Hunter (and you probably do too) and I plan to mod my Stealth Hunter for Keiken since it is redundant. I just haven't got around to it yet. I like your gun holster concept.
  22. You are the best! Thanks very much.
  23. I think you guys are missing the concept of the "Impulse" line. IMHO they are simply cheap sets designed for supermarkets and/or near cash registers. As in, for "Impulse Buying", that is not planning on buying something but buying it because it is cheap and desirable. Or is it me who is confused? *wacko* Sometimes I confuse myself. Eitherway, thanks for the list. I am surprised that there is a new Police Station. Since Lego are still showing the old one (which I bought this year) in catalog displays I assumed it had another year of life. More confusion from me it seems! *wacko* (Any chance of a translation?)
  24. As an additional bit of sadness, I added a radar in the nose of mine!
  25. I voted none of the above as you can't really compare them, and I wouldn't call any my favourite. 1. Star Wars is not in the same genre. It is fantasy with some technology, and much of that is just plain impossible. Lightsabers for example, how could you have a solid beam of light with a fixed length? (Don't get me wrong though; I do like Star Wars.) 2. Star Trek can be superb Sci-Fi, but most of the time it forgets it is supposed to be Sci-Fi and ends up just being a show based in the future. Ultimatly I find much of Star Trek unwatchable however as it has almost zero continuity. The episode "The Inner Light" of Next Gen for example. Picard spend 40 years living another life in a day of real time, yet he is back to work next episode. Yeah right. He would have forgotten almost everything in that time! 3. I have tried to give Star Gate a go as a friend of mine is a huge fan, but it just seems silly to me. You missed Farscape, Babylon 5 (and it's spin offs), Battlestar, Andromeda, etc...
