While I think that your monster is excellent, aren't you worried that showing this after starting the "Whack-a-Fig" contest will make people think you are more that a bit sick? How much Mini-fig suffering will satisfy you? Well? On other subjects, good use for those legs. I assume you own the Lobster set as well. Mine is still in one piece but it is one the recycle list as I find it too fragile. What is in the middle? Is it a large figure torso?

My advice is to buy an old Pentium II. Shouldn't cost more than $50 and will handle internet with no problems. I should know I have bought several (currently I have 4) for that price and I am in Australia. Till then keep building!

That would be Thor. He does that all the time. He once tried to throw me but I am a triple dark Ninja with a half twist so when he reached for me I was already gone. He must have thown you by mistake. Are you tall, thin and shiny? Eitherway, you are here now. shiny or not. Welcome to Eurobricks.

Err... nothing. :-$ Yep, I meant ISD not Super Star Destroyer. Ooops.
-
That's a movie to look forward to, but personally I think it is too un-realistic... ;-)
-
Just to remind people, this is the prototype. For those that don't know the Dark Side Development Kit, this look like the AT-AT in that set with better feet and extra bricks all around. The new one is substantially different structually, although the legs look very similar. I strongly considered doing the same to my DSDK AT-AT but I fast realised that I wasn't even halfway there parts wise so I didn't do it. (I have a lacking of grey plates; perhaps I should buy the UCS SSD?! *wub* )

Another dream shattered. When will my tortured existence find peace?
-
Perhaps it is the AT-AT+ with mods to counter the trip technique that was used on Hoth? :-D
-
For the record, I think the old one is more realistic. I particular the new one is missing the hump. However, my main sticking point will be the price...
-
Indeed. That is the best one I have ever seen. I wonder if it has an interior. I don't recognise those front wheels; are they from a RC set? Excellent work. How long did it take you to make it?
-
Wow! I wouldn't mind borrowing some... err many, err most, actually all of those! That is one fine collection. Welcome to Eurobricks too.

Not at all! I, for example, don't like space ships that have no entrance. The first thing I did with my Slave 1 and Imperial Landing craft was to re-design them so the men inside could get out. It if matters to you then it matters! :-P
-
That's very interesting. (I'm not sure if I would like being supported by my groin...) Welcome to Eurobricks too!

Welcome to Eurobricks. The home of Lego love. *wub* Well you seem to have taken same angle as I did; make a post so long that there are no questions to ask! However, after much thought, I have one question to ask that you missed; how old are you? I assume you are 29, am I close? :-P Oh, how I drooled over that set. Never got it though. :-(

Don't we all?! *wub* Welcome to Eurobricks.

Well in Germany the MTT is 130 Euros, and we (I am Australian) are charged $180 AUD, thus it could be about $200 AUD.... but it generally isn't that simple. Some sets are a bargain, and others are a rip-off. The Hyperspace ring, for example, is a rip-off.

Well I am the one who stupidly mentioned nudity... :-$
-
I agree completely with Sir Dillon and Starwars4Js discussion above. The simple truth with beliefs is that there is no right or wrong. But facts are another matter and most beliefs can't be proved or dis-proved.
-
So when you were a baby everyone just shut their eyes? There is no logical reason that being naked is indecent, the only reasons that I can think of are that many religious books demand it. ...Time passes... I was going to go on about how in-consistant and illogical the Bible is (for example if Adam and Eve started it all, then their kids must of boffed each other; ickie!), but I thought better of it as there is no point and it will simply cause trouble. Feel free to believe that being naked is indecent. But please refrain from calling people liars. I, and many others, find that extreamly offensive. (Not to mention confusing; I thought you liked Disneyland and Star Wars. Are you aware that they aren't real?)
-
Well that is a darn good excuse! :-D Congrats! Lego women are great, but they don't compare to the real thing.
-
There is nothing degrading about being naked. You are entitled to your opinion, but I can't say that I agree at all. The definition of lying is generally seen as being decietful or un-true. Since everyone knows that actors are acting there is no decieit.
-
It is very hard to avoid. Even in movies actors often need to be naked for various reasons. It really isn't that big a deal. People go to the beach 95% naked, and you can guess the last 5% anyway... Darn. I have never had that, but I did have worse. One show I did we had one person turn up, and he left half way though! (Oddly all the other shows were packed; it was the first performance so it could have just been that the advertising was not out yet.) I will try to do the same, but mine are fifteen years ago!
-
Don't knock it until you try it. Honest. Indeed you should. If you aren't prepared to be seen naked you have zero chance of becoming a successful actor.
-
You're right; that part was a laugh! The stage hands all rugged up in dark clothing, me in nothing trying to act casual...
