  1. Thanks for the feedback! Haven't seen much of the 1st Doctor admittedly so I was going by the Character Building figure, who does come with a sonic. Now that I think about it he should come with a walking stick/cane instead. And I do know that the War Doctor's sonic is different, but I thought it was similar enough that it could be re-used (the prop is actually a 3rd/4th Doctor screwdriver with a different emitter head). I was going for minimal new pieces since I'm not sure if LEGO would want to have as many new arts in this series as a normal one. On that note, according to my research the 3rd and 4th Doctor Sonics are the same design but with slightly different decos, but I could be wrong. I also second the idea of bumping the series up to 18 minifigs. I'd really like them to add the new companion, Bill. Not sure what accessory would work for her but I think she's about need a new hair mold. Heck, I'd take a second wave of companions an enemies.
  2. I think the one on the helicopter is just this piece: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=30136#T=C The others look new though. Loving the look of the one holding the stud shooter!
  3. It's just a bunch of speculation for the leaked listing that was simply 'S'. If you ask me it's more likely to be more Superheroes.
  4. I'm guessing the Connectables with either allow you to put more items on the gamepad at once or unlock some kind of new mechanic that has to be done physically- for example, you get a connectable that's a crank mechanism, and when you find the place where it;s needed in the game you turn a physical crank made out of LEGO pieces, which turns a crank in the game.
  5. Really hoping we see at least some villains in the series as they could definitely use new pieces. Riddler might finally have a proper cane!
  6. Seriously? Crap! I was really looking forward to getting her. Maybe the version with the orange toy tag is the promo and she'll be available at normal retail otherwise? Either way, here's hoping Green Arrow doesn't suffer the same fate.
  7. I'm still hoping for more Flash characters, like Reverse Flash or Zoom. Heck, I'll take anything that's even slightly based on the TV show.
  8. I think this head might work well- it's included with Ant-Man, which I switched out for an Indiana Jones head since I thought it was a better match anyway.
  9. One of the smaller Nexo Knights sets is literally just a castle wall that hooks up to Fortex's castle mode. I can definitely see the set having an add-on to the building in the airport battle, and maybe another small vehicle of some sort.
  10. Huh, that actually doesn't look half bad. And hey, his hair is combed the right way! Here's hoping on the off change LEGO re-releases the 11th Doctor they re-use this hair piece in the proper color.
  11. So, what do you think the chances are of the new Spider-man sets having extras of the little transparent piece that attaches the webbing to his hands? I'd love to have two to use on Iron Man, but I'll probably only end up buying the Ghost Rider set.
  12. I'm willing to bet this is going to be a parody of you typical 'high school superhero' movie, given how the LEGO Batman movie looks to be a parody of superhero movies and the LEGO movie was a parody of... pretty much everything.
  13. This project is looking fantastic so far! Best of luck getting it approved- I know if it does I'll be getting a copy as soon as I can!
  14. A lot of people seem to be missing the idea that a LEGO batman movie minifig series could potentially have a lot of new villain characters, not just Batman variants. I mean, sure, there will almost certainly be about a half dozen Batsuits, but we've seen almost a dozen villains in the trailers alone. Between them and henchmen there's plenty of possible characters whoa aren't just Batman.
  15. $200 is kinda pricey for only 1600 pieces, but it looks nice overall. Hoping the Villagers aren't exclusive to this set, especially considering it only comes with ONE proper one.
  16. I think the prints for the costumes alone would attract a lot of minifig customizers, like you mentioned. Not to mention LEGO could make a lot of the figures out of existing parts, so that's less they have to pay for new molds. EDIT: Here, this is how I see a minifig series working: 1st Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v1- smiling and stern face prints, new mold Sonic, LEGO Dimensions printing 2nd Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v1- happy and stern face prints, same Sonic as 1st Doctor, LEGO Dimensions body printing 3rd Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v2- happy and stern face prints, second new mold Sonic , LEGO Dimensions body printing 4th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v2- closed-mouth smiling and open-mouth smiling face prints, new mold hat/hair, new mold scarf, same sonic as 3rd Doctor but with different deco, LEGO Dimensions body printing 5th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v2- smiling and glasses face prints, same Sonic as 3rd and 4th Doctors, LEGO Dimensions body printing 6th Doctor with Rainbow Umbrella- angry and calm face prints, LEGO Dimensions body printing 7th Doctor with Question Mark umbrella- smiling and frowning face prints, new mold hat/hair piece and new mold umbrella handle, LEGO Dimensions body printing 8th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v2- smiling and frowning face prints, same sonic as 3rd, 4th and 5th Doctors, LEGO Dimensions body printing War Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v1- smiling and frowning face prints, same sonic as 1st and 2nd Doctors with different deco, LEGO Dimensions body printing 9th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v3 and psychic paper- smiling and frowning face prints, psychic paper is printed 1x1 tile, new mold hair/forehead piece, new mold Sonic, LEGO Dimensions body printing 10th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v3- smiling and 3D glasses face prints, same sonic as 9th Doctor, LEGO Dimensions body printing 11th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v4 and mop- same faces as Ideas figure, same sonic as Ideas/Dimensions 12th Doctor, new print series 7B outfit 12th Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver v4- new smiling and frowning face prints, same sonic and hairpiece as Ideas/Dimensions figure, new print unbuttoned series 8/9 outfit Clara Oswald- new print face, new mold hairpiece, new print outfit [Possibly replace her with an enemy such as the Silence or Weeping Angel variants?] Cyberman- same as Dimensions Cyberman but with additional arm printing Zygon- new mold head/body “sandwich” piece, uses Dimensions design
  17. I'm willing to bet we'll be getting her in Teen Titans themed LEGO Dimensions sets, since that has been rumored for awhile and there's been little evidence of her appearing in the mainline DC sets.
  18. I don't know- we got Simpsons of all things, which other than Dimensions doesn't even have a mass retail toyline, so I think a Doctor Who blindpack wave could certainly happen.
  19. That would be terrible. Hopefully if anything they do a minifig of an 11th or 12th Doctor costume variant, like 11 in his green or purple coats or without his tweed jacket.
  20. I don't think we really NEED a new Zurg- the old one looked fine. The only real improvement that could be made is adding dual molding to his arms to make his gloves.
  21. Some random ones I think might be possible- Lilo w/ Scrump (her doll)- Can't have Stitch without her! Another experiment- Angel, 625/Reuben, 627, Leroy; I won't be picky Pleakly- new head mold, maybe new leg or body mold? Jumba- new head mold, maybe new arm mold? Woody with a proper Minifig head Jessie with a proper minifig head Frozone w/ either skis or a sled Any other members of the Incredibles, most likely Mrs. Incredible Nick- new printed money piece, new head mold- surprised there aren't already Zootopia sets Judy Hopps w/ printed parking ticket, new head mold
  22. That looks absolutely incredible! I especially like how you worked the Dimensions Cyberman Toy Tag into the tomb.
  23. Ooooh, I hadn't even considered using it as another time travel method. That would be sweet especially if it gave us Easter egg areas on par with the Doctor Who ones- imagine having Flash on the treadmill and suddenly finding yourself in Batman Beyond era Gotham!
  24. All of the figures look fantastic, but I'm super disappointed they rehashed the Toy Story alien instead of Lilo to go with Stitch. Here's hoping she's in wave 2.
  25. I doubt it will happen- but instead of a vehicle he could have a gadget in the form of the Cosmic Treadmill, which could act like the Gyrosphere or Arcade Machine in that it connects to certain ports and Flash/Gamer Kid running on it would activate something, which was an actual mechanic in the LEGO Batman games.
