I think that to have other characters access one of those worlds you need to first have a character FROM one of the worlds to 'unlock' it first. For example, Cyborg doesn't get his TTG skin until he actually goes into the TTG world.

Batman Movie Robin will indeed be able to turn into TTG Robin. They're releasing How far in the future are you talking? We have images of packs up through wave 7.5. Stuff we know about but haven't seen includes Beeltejuice (unknown pack type), Goonies Level Pack, Lego City Undercover Fun Pack, Raven and Beast Boy (pack types unknown), Powerpuff Girls (pack types and which characters unknown). Marceline's already out, btw.

My prediction is that we'll either get Kevin with the Ecto-2 (his motorcycle) or Rowan with his ghost portal thing. And since we already got Kevin my bet's on Rowan.

Those actually look pretty cool- seems I picked the right time to start getting into this theme. 4 packs of 4, so that's 16 new head, torso and legs prints at least. Plenty of customization options! Doubtful, as then the YouTubers would need to have some kind of contract with Mojang itself, which would be a weird legal thing. Not to mention they already have those unofficial 'Tube Heroes' sets.

They said 'Teen Titans level', but no specific pack types were stated so he could have meant in the Hub world. There's still a chance we'll get a team pack so we can get Raven, Beast Boy and Starfire. I think the reason there isn't a PC version was so you CAN'T mod it- otherwise people would likely make mods to unlock all the characters without buying any packs and release them online.

The way I see it since the people at TT Games can actually write comedy they can possibly salvage the script. Possibly. No guys, he said 'pizza'. Clearly we're getting a LEGO Island reboot.

Unless the price per minifig goes up there's no way there's enough budget in a CMF for a minifig and a toy tag. I'd say the only chance would be the figs packed by themselves.

Ah, that could be it. I just got my Ecto-1 set this last Christmas, so it's certainly a later run of the set.

The torso is the same, but I think the Dimensions one has slightly higher quality printing.

Yikes, Finn's legs look weird without his shoe printing on the back. Other than that everything looks pretty awesome.

There is a new story mode- it was confirmed in the press release last week. It said something along the lines Vortech having hidden pieces of himself in new Dimensions and the main characters trying to find them.

Interesting that this year is seeing a surge of Cartoon Network brands, wheras the first year had a lot of Warner Brothers IPs. I wonder what series 3 will bring- hopefully either Disney or Nickelodean, if they'd stop selling their soul to the devil (aka Mega Bloks). I'd about kill to see Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron in LEGO form.

That's an interesting point- if he was just an NPC they likely wouldn't bother with a render for a character icon.

I doubt he'll be an exclusive seeing how his head would need to be a new mold piece (assuming this is legit).

The actual convention is June 14-16, but stuff will start happening as early as June 12, so we might get some pre-event previews then.

Forgive me if this has already been covered, but since the new sets are out- do the Spider-Man sets come with an extra of the clear hand pieces that hold his webbing?

Given how popular the Minecraft sets are and how we've already had some 'game' franchises such as Midway Arcade and Portal 2, I'd say it's definitely possible.

I'm thinking this is likely the case. Given how they have a three year plan I imagine they have had a lineup of characters they'd make for some time.

I don't think we'll be seeing more sets until next year at the earliest, since whether the series gets more sets was going to be based on how well the Ideas and Dimensions sets sell. It probably won't happen, but I'd totally buy a UCS set that was just a TARDIS, the remaining Doctor that we haven't gotten, and a bunch of TARDIS interiors. You could have one for the first seven Doctors with modular pieces to account for the design differences, one for the eighth, one for the War Doctor through the Tenth, and the Eleventh. Otherwise I could see them doing a series of 5 or so sets like the Scooby-Doo wave, along with a blindpack minifgure series.
