I REALLY wanted to enter the Future Of SW Contest but didn't give myself enough time. Next contest, I guess.

Wow! Very impressive build. -
Nice work, as usual, although, I'd love to see these in color, as well.

This is pretty cool looking, although not exactly accurate to the reference pic. Great work, though!

Future of SW Contest: Escape from Nar Shaddaa
M<0><0<DSWIM replied to pedro's topic in Watto's Junkyard
I will repeat that this is quite AWESOME! I love how you've shown action by having the various vehicles/characters tilted and positioned just so. Love that ship, too. Good luck! -

Future of SW Contest: The Negotiator

Now, THAT is pretty bad@ss! Love the design and all the functions. -
I never thought about the Megatron resemblance, but I see it now! Forget transforming. This thing was hard enough to keep in one piece in one form!

This is pretty awesome! I love the design and shaping and the fact that it looks like the Imperial Shuttle in starfighter form. Great work! Oh, as far as crticism, it appears that the "real" ship is highlighted with red and dark gray, so maybe add those colors to the model.

Thanks! I really appreciate that.

Thanks! The true challenge was to combine both themes, and I'm glad that I succeeded. I'm gonna take a break from this theme for a bit so I can work on some mocs that don't take me months to build.

Future of SW Contest: Boba's back......pack (small category)
M<0><0<DSWIM replied to sparkart's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Great work! That creature is pretty flippin creepy. -
Thanks! I originally planned on making the shield look like a TIE wing, but I think it would've been too much, since he has them attached to his back. Thanks! I figure that they would be nuclear powered, since I'll be building mechs not piloted by Force-sensitive characters (Millennium Gundam, anyone), BUT, mobile suits operated by the likes of Luke, Vader, Obi-Wan, etc would have the added advantage of Force power, as well. Thanks, Doc, and thanks for the blog! I thought about making the wings longer to represent the cape shape, but they were already falling off every time I posed the figure. Plus, longer wings would get in the way of his legs when moving. Thanks! More to come very soon, my friend. I'm thinking a TIE Zaku or possibly the Millennium Gundam, eh? Thanks, and thanks for sharing. I've seen that video before (and shared it on Facebook) and it's absolutely amazing! I hope that guy does a full movie at some point.

Thanks! That was the real trick, actually: making it look Gundam-esque and TIE Advanced-esque at the same time.
-
Thanks! I would love to see someone do an Anime version of the Star Wars story. Maybe someday.
-
After over 2 months of building and rebuilding, I present Vader's TIE Advanced Mobile Suit! I really tried to make a bigger badder mech than the X-Wing, since Vader is such a powerful character. . Vader at the controls! Finally, the epic battle between the X-Wing Gundam and the TIE Advanced Mobile Suit begins!

Holy Sh@& that's lookin really cool!

VERY nice work! Love the shaping and parts usage.

Future of SW Contest: Yoda's Legacy (expanded 01/28/13)
M<0><0<DSWIM replied to ACPin's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Lookin good, so far, AC! I'm guessing this will be some sort of scene where Luke is teaching the Solo kids about the history of the Jedi? -
Not to worry. You still have some time!
-
Thanks, man! Wait till you see my TIE Advanced Mobile Suit and I post the 2 of them fighting (coming VERY soon)!
