[MOC] 1955 Ford Thunderbird (First Generation)
darkhorse00 replied to darkhorse00's topic in LEGO Town
Thank you! With Lego creating more new parts every year, I am sure we will have more different parts for our MOCs. :) Thank you for the likes! Yes. I reckon the modulars are set in the 1930s-1960s?? More vintage cars will come. :) Will be building each for every one of the modulars. Thank you! Always finding ideas to build more with the newer parts. Thank you for the encouraging comments! Keep on building there! Thank you!- 21 replies

Inspired by the modular Fire brigade Fire engine and modification to the Palace Cinema Limousine, I have gotten another idea to build a simple vehicle for the Parisian Restaurant modular theme. Sharing my 6 studs wide build - 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible (First Generation). Have built 2 cars for my modular (MOD Limousine for Palace Cinema , MOC A4 Checker Cab for Cafe corner). So I reckon, I should build one for Pet Shop. Sharing my MOC Beetle Volkswagon Type 1 in minifig scale for modular. Incredible build and setup!

Thank you all! Thank you! The jukebox is standalone. I shall post some pics of it someday. For the wine wall cabinet and cans white shelving, I have to replace 1 or 2 of the 1 x 8 bricks with plates and shelving inserts. Replace one of the clock bricks, and the sink tap bricks with side studs bricks. And yes, I will built in the 2nd/3rd storey with the 1950s theme in mind someday. Nice reference to start with, from the pic you have provided. :)

This is too beautiful!

Thank you!. You can check out the pictures of the cab in here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=123511 Going to make more different vehicles for my other modular building. Thank you!. You can check out the Lens/Camera/Settings for those pics on my flickr account. https://flic.kr/s/aHskuT5Z1j Thank you for the likes!

Thanks for the likes! I share the same thoughts that the sides aren't really the best. The design for the sides panel are the most challenging, as I was trying to standardize all my moc vehicles for the modulars to 2 seats in the front. (My first build is a 1938 cadillac v16 limousine for palace cinema: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=121161). Raising the sides is a good idea, but eventually, I conclude that I need to sacrifice a more solid side panel build to squeeze in 2 minifigs in front. I like you guys' feedback and posts! It motivates me to create new builds and improve my design. .

Something to add on to my Cafe Corner to go with the 1950 theme. Sharing my MOC of a 1950 A4 Checker Cab. Actual 1950 A4 Checker Cab. Photo Reference Lego A4 Checker Cab

Thank you! Good point there. I shall try that out. Will either remove 1 plate space from the seat or raise the table top height. Thanks for the recommendation!

That Jukebox is my favourite! Thank you! I did some more moc (A 1950s A4 Checker Cab to go with the theme) for the diners/hotel guest.
