    I can see 2018 being mostly movie oriented. More people watch the movies than read the comics and given Infinity War is likely gonna be another "event" film like Civil War, I think we'll be seeing a lot of sets for it. Though we could end up with a situation where it's just one set each for Black Panther and Ant-Man & The Wasp, I supposed. In fact given what happened with the first Ant-Man and Doctor Strange, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.

    It's probably Growing Man, one of Kang's henchmen. Delighted to see Kamala included.

    It's a toss up. Some of them did end up being used for actual minifigs but a lot of them (Storm and Cyclops immediately come to mind) either didn't look like the eventual toys, or haven't been released period.

    Trying to guess which kinds of Infinity War sets we may get. It is looking like the Black Order will be in the film.

    That comes with the territory. Comic books are such a niche medium that it makes sense that LEGO would mostly stick to characters kids might conceivably have some chance of recognizing. As for Goliath, maybe an Avengers Mansion set? Another Quinjet?

    Is Lady Sif even in the movie? If she is, it doesn't look to be a big part. Lego hasn't really done much with the Thor franchise either, so there's a lot of his supporting cast that got left out in the cold.

    It's a different figure but I think one of them may just be a spelling error. The Sakaarans from GOTG are from the Planet Sakaar Thor is on in Ragnarok. I guess the two figures look sorta similar.

    I'm fine with the ship, but maybe that's just because I was dreading it'd be another Quinjet. Can't wait to add helmeted Thor and Valkyrie to my collection. They look great.

    Where is that Hercules from? On the subject of future sets it looks like we may be getting the Black Order in Infinity War.

    Can't wait to see Valkyrie now. Does anyone know if we're getting the Executioner?

    It was a rumor from Joblo (I believe?) at that point. Unless you were actively looking for spoilers online it was easy to miss. Besides which, they're a 3rd party news site so there's really nothing Marvel could do about that. The merchandise was a more controllable issue though, which is why they forced Funko to pull down some early images of the Giant-Man bobblehead they were making. This was the Marveltoynews report on the situation from Toy Fair. So makes sense they'd try to do things differently with their Lego sets this time.

    A bunch of people also complained loudly about the Lego set spoiling Giant-Man's appearance, and Marvel Studios was allegedly angry about the spoilers going out so soon. So there might be a bigger effort to avoid spoilerls this time around.

    I can't wait to get a look at Valkyrie and Hela.

    2017 is also the first year Marvel Studios has three movies coming out, so they probably don't want to overcrowd the market.

    The Quinjet is supposedly in the movie so I'm hoping the "ship" isn't Lego just reusing it again.

    Speculation: A gladiator set with Hulk, Thor, and the Grandmaster and an Asgard set with the Quinjet, Valkyrie, Hela and Executioner.
