  1. I think this summarizes how I feel with a more in dept view (I was on phone earlier). I guess I expected too much because this is IW and not some random wave, but it doesn't look all that special apart from the biggest set. I get why they made 1/4 of the sanctorum with an open back, but I would have loved something more like a modular. The iron man figure from the Milano set looks cool tho, too bad the set is really meh.
  2. Yea. Everyone here are hyped up and think the sets are the greatest ever, but for what you pay you get lackluster sets. Because sets have a spiderman figure doesn’t mean they are worth the overpiced retail price. But the sanctorum looks okay although I expected more after all the positive rumors. It just seems that everybody thinks quarter/half builds or random vehicles are amazing.
  3. Mediocre builds, mediocre figures. Happy to let these sets pass. The sanctorum is a huge letdown as people said it would be highly detailed, but it still looks like a SH set to me.
  4. Mario posted a new picture of a sick black dinosaur.
  5. But then it would be a collectible minidolls series. Anyway I think the suit guys are one of the best/fun figures Lego makes so I would rather have every set like this. But I get why people want more diversity in a CMF ‘set’.
  6. There will be an 'Outdoor people pack' so yes.
  7. When will the service return? And do they usually update their inventory with the winter City sets after they return? Also, can someone tell me what the universal number for the torso is? I can't remember
  8. Yes, more people packs. Really like those!
  9. While the sets themself look good, solid builds it seems, I really dislike this wave. It looks like those speeders came from the Super Heroes line and the MF doesn't even look like the MF. I really don't like all these spinoffs 'new' vehicles, forced characters and strange minifigures.
  10. The Mansion is kinda like the 1966 Batcave (office area part).
  11. It pretty much says: The only thing worth your money is the biggest set.
  12. Sounds all like mediocre stuff. If they make a part of the Sanctum Sanctorum, don't add in some random Pizzaria/Appartment (if these are true). Thors new 'hammer' looks like a part of Groot btw. Just make a new mold.
  13. You can find it at there yes. I looks pretty cool, but they really should make a big Expert rollercoaster set.
  14. Where can we find these leaked pics?
  15. They probably already designed the sets before the release of the movie.
  16. It’s probably ‘future fantastic beasts sets’ instead of FB and other licensed sets. But it makes more sense to change this threads title into ‘Future licensed set discussion’ and leave the FB part to the Harry Potter / Fantastic Beasts thread.
  17. Where are those bigger pics? All I can find are the regular ones..
  18. Hmm interesting. Nightmare before christmas would be very cool.
  19. Pretty hefty price on the docks. It better fit that Destiny Bounty.
  20. If it is Ninjago City docks the big question is: can you display the Destiny Bounty in it?
  21. Yea Marvel didn't let anyone know about the eyepatch until after Thor Ragnarok so they couldn't know. I'm okay with that, but what I'm not okay with is all these bland figures.. A few minor characters is fine imo but giving the 'main' cast no leg printing, no arm printing and very meh torso prints for most of them. I will get the Groot figure just so that I have it, but I really hope we get a set like the Spider-Man Bridge Battle to make up for all this mediocre things.. Although I know better :(
  22. The figs are really bad. I know those aren’t HD but they look like bad Chinese reproductions (those would probably even look better). Meh.
  23. Probably not. It's always the same: people get hyped and expect dual molded, triple printed and 15 differents heads and you'll always get plain legs, mostly likely no dual molded arms and an overused facial expression for 90% of the 'new' figures. Don't even get me started on changes that are barely noticable or changes that are worse than before. Yes, I did expect more from what we've seen to date, but it doesn't suprise me at all. Now people are waiting for a 'good' minifigure, but be ready to be disappointed in the most of them. I don't think they need to the the effort of giving us (AFOLS) a fully printed, correct to canon, etc. printing as kids probably won't shed a single tear that Iron Man had the legs of a previous figure or Thanos has no dual molded legs while the 2016 version did have them.
  24. They all look really lackluster to me expect for maybe that Hulkbuster head, but the build for that will probably be meh. After getting 'spoiled' with so many highly detailed figures in the last year (CMF, Batman Movie, TLNM, etc) this always feel like such a letdown. At first I didn't really care for arm printing or dual molded legs, but at least some printing on legs would be great.. I have a random knockoff figure here from aliexpress for €0.73 which has printing all over the place. I understand that Lego had to put money in development, license and other stuff, but is it too much to ask to give us some better quality figures for the Marvel line? Leg printing and in some rare cases maybe some arm printing. We are only 3/4 figures in and I had high hopes, but it looks like the figs will have the same problems as always: lack of (good/more) printing. That should be the least you should expect for the biggest Marvel movie ever.
  25. I like the new faces. I always disliked the plain smileyface as it looks so.. plain :p but I understand why people liked them, but I don't think they fit today standards.
